Only God could cause the tragedy of Dr. Allender's young life to be the source of so much hope and healing. I pray blessings for his ministry in this dark and desperate world.
I sat under Dr Allender in seminary until he left and they cancelled the biblical counseling program...still to this day there are professors who claim the program was not biblical...yet what has Dan done w his life...only reach out to the most abused. I will tell you this, some of the WORST counselors I've had were pastors or those so committed to biblical accuracy and correct doctrine. Yes, this can be confusing. What is worse, there are those who accuse Allender for being too "psychological" and not biblical. God is judge...there will be a lot of surprises in Heaven.
