Ahhhh were singing this rn in choir and we’re gonna take it to competition.... and my teacher wants me to do the solo in the beginning like NOOOO 😂 but this sounded sooo good
I am currently singing this song in my choir. I am a sophomore and have been in choir since 4th grade. For a middle school choir they sound absolutely amazing! I wish my 7th grade choir sounded this good. Great job guys!
Dang the uniforms r so much different then they are now I wish we had done this song at one of our concerts. I did sing this as a solo for ISSMA though.
im surprised that one of the students are playing the piano, and im and 8th grader now, im pretty sure they are in like 12thgrade-college now?? beautiful concert
Shelby Eubanks you do not have to be rude, they sounded great! (But I admit the pronunciation could use a little work) Don't expect the children to just automatically know this, the teacher has to teach them.
They have gorgeous voices. But there's no way this arrangement should've ever been given to them for singing. Since they're still in 7th grade, their vowels aren't really that great. And the bass part is more of a grumble, because the boys aren't developed fully yet. I don't mean to be harsh. Otherwise it was lovely.
You’ll get that in a lot of choirs. I’m in 8th grade at this school currently, so pretty much all the kids who won’t put in effort are out. Mrs Schedies (the conductor here I think) is still teaching here and she is INTENSE and she will call you out if you aren’t singing. The video is a bit blurry and old so they could just not have their mouths open very wide cause I see that a lot 👀
they actually did a wonderful job for such a young choir. when you're that young, the voices are going to sound much more lighter and airy than an older choir. there's no way to avoid it. they were lovely for a 7th grade choir
I'm just trying to do my music HW and and all these kids like don't mean to brag buuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuut
im in eighth grade and i have to point out the screw ups for a project. one its bad of the audience to clap in the first five seconds of the video, bad ediquette you cant hear the kids. two pronounciation could use work. the soloist is awesome though.last of all i can hear just a few sour notes in their somewhere

I'm in 7th grade and singing this song! I love it!!!!
The audience doesn’t need to applaud until the performance is over
Yess god I hate when people interrupt
i agree

Wow! That was really good. Loved the solo!
I'm in 8th grade and I'm in the festival choir and were doing this song, I have to say we do better with the pronunciation of the words.
YouGotNoJams Jimin what's 8th grade in Ireland?

Andrea Ramey I am in 6th and in choir it is such a great experience!
My school kinda forces us into it. But I like it anyway

Dang the uniforms r so much different then they are now
I wish we had done this song at one of our concerts. I did sing this as a solo for ISSMA though.
Are you at Carmel middle school?
@@TractorTimewithTim yeah
I'm going to be in 8th grade Choir at this school and Mrs. Sheidies is amazing, tho I spelled her name wrong 😂
BRUH DID THEY REALLY APPLAUD IN THE MIDDLE OF A SONG? I don't even do Chorus and that hurt me in the soul smh
I'm in seventh and we are singing this
There kids I think they did fantastic
I sing this song in my 7th grade choir group and I know that they aren't holding their notes long enough
We have the best middle school choir in Indiana
It was rude of them to clap in the middle of the performance. Bad audience ediquette.
Ikr
Mia H Haha!!! Ikr
Mia H ikr!
Mia H that happens at my school concerts, it's so annoying
Mia H people from different areas do different shit you dumbass manner police
1:41 It's so amazing
Beautiful
Where is this Carmel Middle School? Charlotte, NC??
Nancy Hiatt indiana
im surprised that one of the students are playing the piano, and im and 8th grader now, im pretty sure they are in like 12thgrade-college now?? beautiful concert
Pianist was in 7th grade then. Now 24, in a master’s program at Johns Hopkins University
It’s meant to be a smooth quiet start not loud
We’re doing this in my choir
What's 7 th grade in Ireland or what's 6th class in grades
I love this song.
They need to work on their vowels. Right now their vowels sound very immature.
Samantha Adams they are 7th grade half of them are just starting choir but I agree .
Samantha Adams you need to work on ur beauty
Samantha Adams yep I’m 7th grade and we’re singing this for our fall concert and we are just starting and we sound way better than them (no offense)
Your humility is overwhelming.
Well also they are 12
Wunderbar. Sehr schön
I sang that song and waz the solo with my b friend
Fantastic!!! :)
This is what song i am doing for my chorus but we changed ours and did our own thing on something. But overall i love this song
It's too closed. Open your mouth more and lift your soft palet and the sound will not sound like your in 2nd grade!
I agree
Shelby Eubanks I agree
Shelby Eubanks you're * but I agree :)
Shelby Eubanks next time you go in a choir like this. Then complain. Singing is hard.
Shelby Eubanks you do not have to be rude, they sounded great! (But I admit the pronunciation could use a little work) Don't expect the children to just automatically know this, the teacher has to teach them.

very nice!!!!!!!
Not all of them are singing. Some had their mouths closed😊

hahaha Tillicum sang that as a solo and we are in sixth grade
Don't mean to brag, but my choir did this and it was better.
Spencer Smith same
@Autumn Dovre LMFAO
I am also singing this song in choir just like half the people in the comments. :)
AWESOME!!!!!!!!! but baritones be a little louder
i sing this in 4th grade i miss singing this and now im 6th grade
i go to a different school now
Cool
This is like nails on a chalk board of my soul.
The solo part was supposed to be a tenor or a baritone. Although very good, it just does not have the vibe this song usually does.
There is nothing wrong with the way it was sung, just that it sounded a little out of the usual. In fact I like it!
In my opinion they get a horrible score for diction which is pronouncing words mature enough
they actually did a wonderful job for such a young choir. when you're that young, the voices are going to sound much more lighter and airy than an older choir. there's no way to avoid it. they were lovely for a 7th grade choir
+Blue Jessica I'm a 7th grade baritone...
Jessica my choir sounded like an older Choir when I was in seventh grade...
FlashQandR I slightly doubt that.
I'm just trying to do my music HW and and all these kids like don't mean to brag
buuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuut
very cool I thought that the solo was great!
They also need to blend more
im in eighth grade and i have to point out the screw ups for a project. one its bad of the audience to clap in the first five seconds of the video, bad ediquette you cant hear the kids. two pronounciation could use work. the soloist is awesome though.last of all i can hear just a few sour notes in their somewhere
Dude. The first thing you need to learn is to avoid looking for flaws in other folks.
Perhaps you should focus on improving your own flaws instead!
@@TractorTimewithTim no you misunderstand. i was specificcaly told to look for flaws by my teqacher
Wow. ...and you were told to add comments to the video indicating those flaws?
@@TractorTimewithTim nope that was me . deal with it
Cv
the baritones cant even sing low notes lol
...but you can certainly criticize. We know THAT much.
They're literally in 7th grade. I wouldn't expect their voices to go that low.
that’s my brother yo😔
