A lot of my friends are praising the album and I just don't know why. Perfect Machine, Solstice, Waking Up, Trials, Stratosphere, Faultline, all of those are extremely underwhelming to me. Trials has some god tier doomy low guitars though which I like, at least. Manifest, Echo, Telekinetic, Diving Bell, Where The Skies End, and Other Worlds Than These are really the only ones I like listening to.
@@FinalBeta I like Perfect Machine a little more than that first list of songs you just said, but I'm pretty much in line with that same list. Not to mention Faultline is 100% a Shinedown song with extra steps, can't change my mind about that. I definitely miss the Space-esque theme they had for the first 2 albums, it's what drew me in to them as a band( not to mention the overall narrative, I'm a big fan of Coheed & Cambria so I love cinematic rock) they haven't regressed sound wise, as I've seen a few people say online, but they definitely haven't progressed either.

Ditto. This is why today I dropped off my Dean Dime Slime to have it tuned to Drop Bb. Been playing for decades in the standard tunings. After seeing Starset live, I had a musical life changing experience and knew that I had to break the musical chains I was bound to.

Damn, Wage War had me hyped for Pressure with some pretty solid singles and let me down, and Starset did it too. Same label too, but I Prevail is too, and Trauma's been my favorite album of the year. Oh well, good cover anyways!
