JOSIE AND THE PUSSYCATS CHASE SCENE CLOCK 🕰 WALL EPISODE 16 THIS SONG IS SO TOTALLY 💯 AWESOME 🤩 WOW 🤩 I LOVE 💗 THIS SONG 🎧 NOW THATS ENTERTAINMENT JOSIE AND THE PUSSYCATS DVD 📀 WONDERFUL EPISODE IS AWESOME 🤩
For the people talking about whether Alexandra ever sang, if you were a kid when this series was on there's a good chance you would have read the related comic book (kids were more into comic books then and every drugstore sold big racks of them). The "Josie" comic book in 1969-70 had a storyline that Alexandra was going to join the band but only if she could be the star and have it renamed "Alexandra's Cool Time Cats". So the Pussycats asked Valerie to join the band instead. In the comic book as well as the TV show, Alexandra always carries on about how she should really be the star of the band and Alan should date her instead of Josie.
@@joshuaramiandrisoa2002 The cartoonists most likely didn't know how to draw an elderly Black person without it being some type of stereotypical depiction.
Pussycats to the rescue, only Valerie wasn't alone, Josie and Melody are there too, if you're wondering what's with this comic strip, I'm their fourth Pussycat, and Alexandra got jealous of my arrival that she wanted to make a fool out of me by tying me with ropes and chains in the middle of an abandoned roller skating rink, but when Josie, Melody, and Valerie, with roller skates on, caught her red-handed, she ended up making a fool out of herself, left me still tied, and ran away with anger and embarrassment, so the three cuties had to untie me, and it was harder to do than they all thought, but at least, I was free, I got a big hug from them because they were relieved that I wasn't hurt, and because it was my birthday, they got me a birthday present, a pile of roller derby gear matching the kind they have, they suited me up, and we skated around the abandoned rink for our own roller derby fun and had the rink all to ourselves, and I look like I'm having fun with those three cuties, you might even love the way I'm holding hands with Josie: www.deviantart.com/protodawn/art/Pussycats-To-The-Rescue-923163933
In the comic version, Alexandra is a "magical girl" like "sailor moon". She can change herself into a goldfish in a bowl or a painting hanging on a wall to hear what everyone is saying. Sebastion, or "bast" is her "familiar". She sometimes helps the band, but mostly causes mischief because wants to be the center of attention. She is like a cross between "baby daphne" and "sabrina t.t.w."
1:23 to 1:25, How unlike Alexandra to restore Josie to her rightful age. I'd figure she'd only restore Alan since she has feelings for him and is always jealous of Josie.
When the chips were down, Alexandra always came through. On the other Clock on the Wall chase scene (The MasterMind), she uses the gravitational device to buy them time. Even Alex displays courage at times during the chase scenes.
She’s always mean to melody but she’s always cared about her (like in the melody memory mix up) when she says “hey those two creeps grabbed melody!” And they run after them. I genuinely think she cared about all her friends she was just annoyed by their personalities at times
Alexandra is mean, but not cruel. Besides, Alan was with Josie at the time. if she hadn't restored Josie too, then that would make Alexandra look bad in his eyes.
Also there is at least one comic book story where Alexandra is allowed to join for one show and wears the leopard print leotard, sings and tries to upstage the other girls by holding tambourines in front of them (it doesn't work).
@vaibhavshetye1 Did Alexandra ever sing? She was always going on about how she was the real star of Josie and the Pussycats, but I don't remember seeing her in the leopard-print leotards or singing.
She played an old Peruvian tune at the end of The Jumping Jupiter Affair. The village chief recognized the tune and yelled, "Quick! Run for cover!" Turns out it was a rain dance tune.
No clue who, if anyone holds animation rights to Josie since H-B productions (now WB animation)ran out back in the 70s. Rumor is DIC was supposed to do a animaed series based on the live actoin movie but when that underperformed the idea was shelved.

Interesting how in both episodes Alexandra is the one saving the gang
Road runner was my jam, which was in 2 cartoons which both had great chase scenes, imo.
Yeah I love Josie & the pussycats melody Valentine & Josie mccoy & Valerie brown
This was the last original episode of Josie and the Pussycats
Can you imagine if they were new shows of Josie and the pussycats just like Scooby Doo did over the years

To think, only Melody, Valerie, and Alexandra (far as the speaking voices goes) Plus Melody and Joise's singing voices are still alive.
Anyone else noticed Valerie was the only one who wasn't hit with that aging spray?
Yep. Even Sebastian got hit.

Valerie to the rescue!
And Valerie’s the only one who hasn’t been turned old from the serum

There was an urban legend that she got kicked out of the group.

No, but in two episodes she played instruments, stealing one from Josie during a gig and as a reward for saving a princess.

@AndrewTiffin It's the same actor.
That guy in the sunglasses (Alexander) talks like Shaggy from Scooby Doo.
That's because he was voiced by the same actor who voiced Shaggy, Casey Kasem.
They could have at least pretended not to do a total shaggy rip off by hiring a different actor.
Hanna Barbara recycled the Shaggy character archetype a bunch of times. Tinker from Speed Buggy and Clamhead from Jabberjaws were two such examples
@@ReverendSyn Skip Gilroy (Funky Phantom) also bore a slight resemblance to Shaggy. Mickey Dolenz (The Monkees) voiced him.
This cartoon could use a reboot (excluding Riverdale)
