Thank you so much Claire! And thanks to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints for producing such uplifting music! This song came out near the end of my mission in Peru and I listened to this song along with the other 2020 EFY songs almost every morning as I got ready for missionary work. It was an especially big boost to me when the lockdown began in March. I testify that he will truly never change and we can count on him no matter what we're going through.
I testify that Jesus Christ will never change, though everything around us crumbles and tears apart, His is a sure foundation. A foundation, whereon if men build, the will not fall (Helaman 5:12). I know that if we ask Him to guide us, He will. He is not only the captain of our ship, but our beacon of light. I know that we can all make it through because He will steady us! Thank you for sharing this song, I can testify that the message you have in this song is true! The savior will, "never change". He is our anchor and rock and he is our foundation. He will never move and he will always have arms outstretched to us. As I have struggled through my mental illness (OCD) the savior has made me happier then I've EVER been in my life despite the trials. I would think there would be dress standards to be on stage, on camera. Pretty tight-fitting pants, very distracting and even inappropriate. A nice dress would have been so much better!

It’s so good and encouraging to see people judging our youth!! I love knowing that older generations believe in my generation, especially when that belief isn’t based of what’s inside, but rather what’s on the outside- since that’s what counts!! Honestly couldn’t ask for better examples than adults who go around on UA-cam and claim they are so much more worthy of being looked up to, because they can spot a sinner from a simple article of clothing on a church UA-cam video! I’ll go look for your comments on the videos in which content of third world countries appear, where their shirts expose their shoulders (because that is too distracting, and I simply can’t focus on the message of God’s love the video is ACTUALLY about, so I’ll have to make that clear by commenting on how truly wrong it is to see someone’s inappropriate shoulders; rather than checking my thoughts and ridding of any that are inappropriate - including judgmental thoughts.)
Sarcasm aside, a middle aged man should be able to restrain himself from feeling “distracted” based on a clothing item, and hopefully would be able to focus on the message of this beautiful song. Claire is my friend, and one whom I seriously look up to and admire, and will defend. She is Christlike in so many ways. and I find that her style is, in fact, very modest and very far from inappropriate.
Comments like yours are why too many see our church as judgmental, unaccepting, and one they’d rather not associate with. Check yourself before you check others.
