310 is still sitting in the yard with weeds growing around it... i'm waiting to find a parts machine, since the 310 is in rougher shape than i thought.
we have a 350-B crawler loader that the left side doesn't work either, is the clutch/brake assembly like you did the only reason for that? There is zero tension on the left lever for 95% of the time, occasionally it will work a little when it gets warmed up. I am new to this machine and thought maybe it is the valve part under the seat.
even if your power steering cylinders are non operational you should be able to manually operate the steering clutches. first try adjusting your clutches and brakes.
There is supposed to be two inches of sag between the center top idler and the sprocket. If it's too tight it will prematurely wear everything, also also not have enough give if a rock or something gets stuck in the sprocket.
I know i will! When i use my MC in the snow, the tracks occasionally get unnervingly tight and go SNAP! every so often. Even in heavy mud I can see the snow tracks working as they should, ejecting all the debris that gets stuck in there.
@@themadmailler Mine is a cessna model I had it off for a leak and then noticed my right hand angle cylinder had a bent shaft witch cause me to rebuild it. I've only had this dozer for 4weeks and still chasing down hydraulic leaks this winter will be steering clutches and track tensioners and sprockets. keep up the good work
I'm going to go take a look at one of these machines that has a final drive issue in a couple days. So might be watching your videos repeatedly pretty soon.
On my jd450 the right clutch drive was replaced but it’s very tight and when I’m pushing hard it will stop turning until I ease up on the pressure? Any idea?
try adjusting it, also on my 350 loader, the hydraulic valves leak oil, which ends up in the clutch housing and makes the right side slip. maybe that's your problem too?
Hey man, I've got some photo's and video's of a 350b engine installed in our boat. I've also got some questions about the oil and fuel systems. Is there anyway I can get in touch with you?
I rebuilt my stering clutches with the fiber discs an they desent agrated fiber teeth rounded off fibers broke into pieses metal discs rusted presser plate rusted it only worked for about 3 monthes if u are thinking about buying that cheap after market kit for 559 off of reliable tractor parts don't waste your money im going to try bimetallic ones this time an see if thats any better oh yea adjusted those fingers on presser plate when I first put the new stering clutches in an when I took it apart those fingers was like I never touched them don't no what happened there hope this helps someone its a lot of work to get smoked im rebuilding mine right now I will comment a gain this summer when I try the bimitaleic discs
I like them! I use this machine alot in the yard, and while i lose a little bit of traction, i do nearly no damage to the grass. It was also really nice when we used this machine to grade dirt for a concrete floor to be poured. because of the loader tracks, it did very little damage to the fine leveling and grading work that we were using it for.
Want to know about what reverser clutch is I have a 350 1965 need to change clutch and pressure plate throughout bearing not sure
The pay off vids are best..all that work was well done Man. Now you got something to show for it.
That's right. It's so satisfying to run now!
What does that little lever on the floor do? The one by the left control arm.
Any updates on the bimetallic clutches? How are they holding up? And how do they feel while using them?
they feel better than the other side which is still original and slips under a heavy load! And the peace of mind is priceless.
@@themadmailler Awesome thank you!
Great repair. Nice dozer.
Thank you!
Very nice I like the “F yeahs” lol
nice now finish the 310! Mine still isn't done but I got my HYHOE home today

Last camera shot; I believe something's been perching on the tracks at night.

Are your tracks a little loose on this machine? Not that familiar with the JD's but I know that on a Case that are supposed to be tighter than that.

Liking the angle blade.
You may appreciate those snow tracks in a few more months!

@@themadmailler snow pads are good in the mud for the same reason!
It's a 6 way blade and they are street grousers, not for snow
Have you ever worked on the hydraulic pump on the front?
I have not.

Depending on what the issue is, you might have a good machine for a little money and work! There really isn't much going on inside those finals.

Would I adjust it out or in ? I have a tech manual coming but it’s not here yet
Also I haven’t found any leaks but I haven’t opened it up yet

I haven't had any experience with the oil or fuel systems in these. My best advice would be to buy a manual! good luck!

I put bimetallic in mine, purchased from steeringclutch.com. only a couple extra bucks for bimetallic, and you never have to worry about failure!
I desperately need some assistance could u be available to possibly help me
Nice!! Now, take it out and shove Franko's rusty Ferds around and out of the holes that he finds them in.
We could have used it for the Lincoln!
I don't think the Lincoln could have taken much pushing without falling apart!
honestly, i'm suprised that the winch didn't rip it in two!
Now get to work!
right on!
Nice!
Wrong track grousers on that machine

@@antiquecannons In that case, i have a 350 crawler loader with dozer tracks!
I wish I had the 3 bar pads on my dozer.alot better for finishing .
