F1 is a amazing sport I've been a fan since a kid a lot of sweat, tears and hours goes into it every single person within a team plays a role in success of the team.

Great video. The amount of technology in this sport is nuts. I used to watch every race back then for many years. In the days when refueling was still done during the pit stop, and the rules were more open, I personally found it much more exciting. Especially with refueling, you had many options for tactics. 'With this strategy, we simply refuel a little and put on super soft tires so that you can overtake your opponent later during his pit stop because you gained three seconds' - simplified example. And you can really compare F1 with the NASA or others; many innovations that are made there find their way into "normal" vehicle construction / Everyday technology.

To me F1 always had amazing technology and drivers
It is very hard to imagine how exhausting is to overcome G force in turns and braking and accelerating and still be able to drive perfectly while doing so and do it for 60 laps .....
F1 wa s created to see what is possible , but i think many regulations limited this and i wonder how the car would look if only restricted by size.

  • @jensmadsen4439

3:36 It's actually an F1 steering wheel and you'll be surprised how much they adjust to the car's setup during each lap.
There are UA-cam videos that only deal with the steering wheel, maybe it would be worth taking a closer look at.

The button you saw is indeed a drink button.
Drivers can press it, and it will dispense their drink through a straw located inside the helmet.
Most drivers don't use it because the heat produced by the car during the race heats up the drink too much.

1 thing about these teams that i dont think is showcased as mutch is the speed the factorys can change and adapt to whatever is needed even outside of the racing aspect itself and they perfectly showed that during the Covid crysis. When racing stopped the teams came together with a project they called Project Pitlane. Most teams opened up and redesigned there factorys to start building new and improved medical machines and supplies for hospitals. The teams based in the UK came together and allowed ppl from universitys and hospitals to come in and give there engineers feedback on what they needed. The engineers designed both new and improved versions of various breathing aids and what they did in just a few weeks would have taken most companys several months. Other teams brought in ppl that already hade blueprinted designs and protypes but dident have the funding the use of there factorys to quickly test and improve them for use. After a product was rdy and approved for use they openly allowed any factory that wanted to take there design to production.
Many companys could have done what F1 did. But its the insane speed the F1 teams can adapt there factorys and production lines that trully sets them apart from everybody else.

Cleo Abram did another video about F1 that while covering many of the similar areas regarding the technology of the sport delves into the finances of F1. It might be worth a watch/reaction.
And a couple of fun facts for you. Total attendances at the three US and one Canadian race surpass those of the 17 race IndyCar series, yes the Indy500 included. And despite many F1 races starting at 9am EST on a Sunday morning they still regularly get better TV audiences than IndyCar.

17:20 There is a Formula-e which is the electric version, and they have some races in the US too. Maybe one day Formula-e will replace Formula 1, or maybe not because F1 teams have found a sustainable bio-fuel made from plant instead of fossils so it's eco-friendly but still has the sounds of combustion engine.

    Hi!
I just wanted to say how much I enjoy following your reactions to foreign videos, especially your take on the Palmashow! It’s so much fun to see you appreciate their humor-it’s clear you really get it, and that makes your reviews even more enjoyable to watch. I absolutely love the positive and open spirit of cultural exchange you bring to your channel.
By the way, it would be awesome if, one day, you could share some of your own favorite shows or humor from where you’re from! I think we’d all love to discover new things through your eyes, just like you do with ours.
Speaking of Motorsport, I recommend something: “Truth in 24 II: Every Second Counts.” It’s an incredible documentary about the 24 Hours of Le Mans, one of the most iconic racing events in Europe. It offers a different perspective on motorsports and is a must-watch for anyone curious about endurance racing!
One last thing-how did you get the chance to learn French?
Take care and keep going strong!
    Sébastien, from France

    18:00 the old mid-90s (1996) to early 2000s (2005) F1 car is even crazier, it revs up to 20,000 RPM with 3.0 l naturally-aspirated V10 engine
But in 2006, they changed to V8 and the rev was limited to 18,000 RPM
So today's 15,000 RPM V6 Turbo Hybrid while still high-revving compared to other cars, it's actually one of the lowest-revving F1 engine and sounds the worst😂too, although much more efficient.
