yes it is the "wall of sound" that gives this entire LP its grand mystical and expansive sound. George later said he disliked the production values (George was famous for becoming negative over many previous artistic and personal ventures) but it is, what it is.
This is the song I listened driving with our beloved and beautiful Akita Inu to the vet, before his eternal rest. This song is a sweet hymn to life, and to the joy everyone can give to it. Miss you sweetheart.

I love you George. It's been 19 years already, I can't believe it. We named our dog after you, Harrison. He is a rescue dog and has serious separation anxiety. The only way I found to soothe him is to hug him and play your songs. He just calms right down and sleeps. I know it only works with your music, if an ad or a song from a different artist comes on, he wakes up and can't settle down. I'd like to believe there is a little of you in him. HIMYM has a lot of perfect song choices and I didn't realized this was featured while i'm doing my rewatch. Yeah and now it's becoming my favourite George Harrison song tied with "While My Guitar Gently Weeps".
For the first two years after the break up of the Beatles George blew the other three of them out of the water. This is one of the greatest rock double albums of all time.
I seem to recall that Lennon was fairly so-so about All Things Must Pass in the 1971 Rolling Stone interview. . . but he would have been wouldn't he! Paul. no idea, probably sheep shearing!
All Things Must Pass is my favorite solo album, from all of the Beatles. I gave my copy to my stepson, because he has great taste in tunes, and because I love him too.
George takes us on an ethereal tour of his estate, which was once owned by eccentric Sir Frankie Crisp, and the song gives the vibe that Sir Frankie is around every corner and behind every hedge.
Yet the song has a double meaning, it is the estate of Lord Krishna: eyes are shining full of inner light, see the Lord and all the mouths he feeds, lose your bodies in the maze
When this song was recorded, everyone knew it would be a Top 40 hit…as long as George would agree to a song title change to just “Let it Roll”….GH refused and maybe that was a wise choice….hasn’t been played a million times over on Radio….we’ll never know

Inspirational. I remember when this album was first released. And how well it holds up for a half century. The recording captures the resonance of the studio. The depth and beauty of sound echoing across time. This song stands on legs of timelessness. Inherent brightness in times of darkness. The pedal steel guitar work of Nashville great Pete Drake adds so much to this track. Visionary of George Harrison to recognize his talent. The song is nothing less than brilliant.

My absolute favorite solo George song. Lyrics notwithstanding, the song exemplifies everything I love about George Harrison's sound. It touches my soul.
That voice just popped into my head today. A craving. A spiritual craving for this song. Very satisfying. George's enunciation and expression on this vocal is exquisitely beautiful. He must have known what he was doing and its effect. It is beyond Beatles.

Wasn't long before I took up that path of devotion and sadhana myself. This song is about the Sir Frankie Crisp estate George that owned and loved, but it has a double meaning (doesn't it?), being inspired by devotion to Lord Krishnaand the Bhagavad Gita: "See the Lord and all the mouths he feeds ... eyes are shining full of inner light ... lose your bodies in the maze ... fools illusions everywhere..."
