There is an abundance of restaurants in Tavira. Most are small and you need reservations unless you come early or very late. We ate at four different restaurants which ranged from "good" to "excellent" regardless of cost since all were reasonable. Please don't forget to Share, Like and Subscribe! Thanks.
The food looked amazing. My mouth is watering and I'm ready to leave for Tavira to eat nonstop !!!

Except for the excellent food in Rubane! That was the primary hotel in West Africa with wonderful food. I’m not saying there isn’t good food in the places we visited; the tour group just didn’t dine in them.

I was very happy with the restaurants we choose. All are extremely small and unless you eat early or late, reservations are a must!
Last 3 years Tavira has been full of Americans. Been going for at least 20 years and now every restaurant is full with American accents. I'm not complaining, just wondering why this town and area has taken off with people from USA all of a sudden. Has it featured on a TV show or something ?
