Scottie was a favorite player growing up, they say never meet your idols. and he's showing me why without ever meeting him at all. this man is living garbage. you have to be a hater yourself in order to like anything he has said in the last few years is justified.
It's really pretty simple: Scottie views himself as an equal to Jordan when it comes to physical skills and traits within the game. Because of this, he's always resented Jordan for his fame, money, endorsements, popularity, because, "I'm just as good as him. Why don't I have all that?". But the reality is Jordan doesn't have all those things strictly because of his physical talents; it's his physical talents along with the supreme confidence, charisma and the alpha of alphas way he carries himself. Deep down, Scottie knows this, but it's a lot easier to blame the guy who you view as a physical equal than to admit, "I just wasn't that guy."
Keep it a buck though pippen won those championships right along with Jordan does Jordan get a ring without pippen? Could pippen had went to Portland with Clyde in his younger years and got he could of without pippen Jordan doesn't go down as the greatest because he doesn't get those rings ppl don't give credit to where it was do pippen put up 25 a game with a ball hog and gots those first team defense honors right along with Jordan do the math
@FrancisJohnson-ob9oz do I think Jordan wouldn't have won a ring without Pippen? It depends who else would've been on his team. Would Pippen and Drexler won a ring with each other? I think talent wise they certainly could have, but who knows how that dynamic would work out. And Pippen NEVER averaged 25 a game. His career high was 22, and that was the season Jordan retired. Pip averaged 18-21 pts per game while in his prime while playing with Jordan
Was Pippen not a dog on the Court on both sides 22 points a game in 93/94 and 1st team defense wit a ball hog of course you going to be alpha if you taking all the shots all in saying is Pippen deserves his flowers regardless of what he said bout Jordan he performed on the Court
@FrancisJohnson-ob9oz I don't disagree. Pip was a great player and deserves his credit: good offensive player and arguably the best perimeter defender of all time. On the flip side, we also can't pretend like he was Jordan because he clearly wasn't. Pip could never have carried the load offensively for a contender, and he wasn't a leader. Also, to refer to Jordan as a ball hog is a stretch, considering he was shooting well over 50% from the field when people were accusing him of that. You could argue that a GUARD shooting between 51-54% should be shooting more 🤷♂️
Pippen just mad that Jordan’s kid is with his ex-wife 😁. Grant talking smack while wearing shoes that look like J’s, and Luc definitely looking for a paycheck.
Don't worry, karmas' a bitch bulls will NEVER be relevant again. No star wants to go there after seeing the way they treated their 2nd best player of all time
Look, I think it's a combo of things. Scottie's pride was hurt in a number of ways. Scottie's definitely wrong in this situation. I am NOT saying Scottie is right. But I think he feels emasculated for being repeatedly called the number two guy in the documentary and right after Jordan's son took his wife. Nobody mentions his divorce. It was no accident that Scottie's wife had a relationship with Jordan's son. It was to poke at Scottie. Scottie is now trying to get some self esteem back but it's backfiring big time.
It sounds like Jordan is feeling betrayed by Scottie the same way Isiah is feeling betrayed by Jordan. He didn't know there was any hate against him either.
It’s easy to applaud the popular hero MJ and point fingers at the villain(Scottie) a griping malcontent saying certainly some ridiculous, inaccurate things. But that doesn’t make the supposed villain all wrong or the supposed hero all right. We don’t live in a black and white world. Scottie was beloved by his teammates. Michael wins no rings without Scottie Pippen. Just remember that. Those are facts. And pretty big ones. Is Scottie in an unhappy place stand saying some misguided frankly crap? Yep. But that doesn’t make him a bad dude. Michael controlled the resurrection if you will of the Chicago Bulls greatness in that video footage documenting that last year. Not the team. Not a network even. Michael Jordan. And he primarily is the fountain of “insight” his commentary in his living room or wherever that was filmed. Very un team like way to have a team legacy assessed. And of course ESPN wanted to have some eye catching ie controversial takes to MAKE MONEY. And they got it with Mike and a Steve Kerr’s two exasperated comments of “disbelief” about Scottie Pippen. Man can you believe what Scottie did?! And they were overreaction made for TV moments and frankly crap. Disloyal. So yes while Scottie is obviously in an unhappy place saying some ridiculous things this nonetheless was BS. And he and Horace and Luc you can say they’re just ingrates and dummies and write them off. But they’re not. They’re champions. And they did their job. And now they’re pissed for a reason. Granted their reaction this tour is misguided and kind of dumb. But they won as a team and this doc was not done as a team. It was done by Michael Jordan and ESPN. And to me it is BS.
Well Pippen asked MJ not to show that part about Pippen quitting on the team and MJ does it anyway so did MJ respect Pippen…probably not, and again Pippen contract negotiations wasn’t about MJ so why did MJ have to voice his personal feelings about Pips decision . He could have at least just mentioned Pip was going through contract disputes and left it alone. So in response to the documentary Pippen let out his true feelings about MJ. Pip was always second fiddle to MJ while being arguably the second greatest basketball player in the NBA at that time. So it takes a lot to push your ego to the side for the greater cause of a chip .Imagine how Pip feels. And the only thing he asked was MJ not to put a segment in the documentary and MJ does it anyway. I believe that was the final straw. If MJ can voice his true feelings and get away with it, so can Pip. See MJ is backed by the media and fans so in their eyes MJ could never do any wrong. Put yourself in Pips shoes. If I asked you not to do something and you do it anyway, how would you feel. And to criticize someone for trying to make more money whenMJ did exactly that in 96 asking to be traded to the Knicks if they didn’t give him 30 mill dollars is hypocritical… Now could Pippen be jealous yes and I wouldn’t argue that, however let’s stop acting like MJ is completely innocent because he’s not.
This SP talk is getting outta hand. I will give SP credit as a defender, one of the best. However it’s only 1/2 the game. Where does SP rank in points per game all time??? Anyone know…how about #241 thats right not even top 200. Before anyone says well Jordan hogged the ball….his best years were with Jordan in ppg. When he was the man in Houston and then Portland he didnt break 15/ ppg…..lol. He should be kissing black Jesus’s feet for giving him a career
Did Jordan carry the torch without Pippen ask yourself that Did he get anywhere without pippen ask yourself that he didn't put up offensive numbers like Jordan but Jordan was just as good any any other level of the game if not better I'm 44 and of course was a Bulls fan if you watched that era tell me what Jordan did that pippen didn't and that's with a ball hog if you a real fan of the game and grew up in that era do the math to that shit....
Scottie is a clown. Pouring shit on Michael, but not looking at him self. If MJ was so bad, why he chose him at Hall of fame speech? I still have Scottie's Bulls shirts . I will throw away to the bin. Shame!

Honestly I was completely oblivious to this level of animosity that Pippen and Jordan had for each other. I guess it's true, all good things must come to an end.
Jordan had no animosity towards Pippen. Pippen is operating off of jealousy and a desire to cash in on some attention grabbing headlines. Jordan is taking note and ignoring him. That's about all there is to it
@@bmfitzgerald3 It feels like animosity on Jordan's end too, it seems he holds a grudge towards Pippen for not playing while feeling sick against Detroit in the 1990 Playoffs. Talk about LBJ I promise his top 2 to 3 never been under payed way Jordan did his teammates. How they got pay exactly how he treated them on court
IT and Pippen should collabrate..
Oh wait..
So I guess we all gone act like we didn't know MJ was playing on cocaine nothing against Mike but if you gone tell the truth then tell tha whole truth
News flash. Pippen was always unlikable. It's just that people gave him a pass because he was winning.
I’ve lost all respect for Scottie Pippen. That’s all there is to be said.
He does not need your respect.
@@Oba7 And I didn’t ask for your opinion. So STFU.
Like @Oba7 said, your opinion doesn't matter
And yet you think your opinions matter to me? Clowns.
Isiah doesnt seem like such a bad guy, huh? LMAO 🤣
Ya'll listen to me very carefully. Everything on this earth is basically worthless. If it were not so, Yeshua HaMashiach would have told us! But this is what He said, "For what does it profit a man to gain the whole world and forfeit his soul?" Mark 8:36. Now either GOD was lying OR your money, fame, and fortune mean nothing!
No such person.
Jordan will never forgive pippen because he is the pettiest man that has ever lived
First of all whatever monies the franchise paid scottie they must of paid him well have you seen h8s house ..well he has his own basketball court in it...yyea ..so wthfk is he crying about.
Scottie on drugs these days?
Explains why Scottie in the position he’s in … from money to his wife , he’s a 🤡
Jordan not even a good ppl person nobody cares no more 😂😂😂😂
Sorry Pippen you had your chance to prove that you deserve more recognition than “MJ’s Robin”. When you were in Portland, in the Western Conference Finals. But you came up short in the clutch. Just be grateful that MJ was your Batman. You are and always will be just a Robin.
Funny how this scrub knows
Pippen was arguably as good as MJ.
😂😂😂😂
Scottie wasn't even good as Vince Carter. If Jordan had Vince Carter he would have won 10 rings easily. 😂😂😂😂😂😂
I agree he brong that it factor to the bulls
In this case, silence is strength. Pippen is having some break down. He needs to sort himself out.
Why isn't nobody giving Scott is Roses I don't blame him for being that way and truthfully James is a all around better player then Jordan y'all stop hating talking bout he hating
Joel Embiid had beef with Karl Anthony Towns. But when his mom passed he showed his respect, and they were never friends. New low for Scottie
😁
What on earth are you trying to say? Like literally without context, your comment is super confusing
@@jackdaniels2905I got that he showed more respect of an adversary (Embiid to Towns)than one who was supposed to be a friend (Pippen to Jordan)has disrespected him
@@jackdaniels2905 im trying to say that Scottie ignoring MJ when his dad died is messed up. And writing about it in a book is even worse.
@@keithbest1588 Thank you
A teammate is now offended by the word teammate lol. Ok “other man that I played basketball with” is that better? Give me a break.
This gave me a needed chuckle. *golf clap* Spot on
Scottie's brain is broken.
Yeah dude probably snorting!!!!!!🤣🤣
Snakey Pippen
The only person that’s ruining Scottie Pippen’s legacy, is Scottie Pippen himself !!!
Scottie is NOT looking for any forgiveness from MJ. If anything he thinks Jordan owes him the apology for the Last Dance..
1994 Playoffs: Scottie “if I can’t shoot the game winning shot I’ll sit” ok sit. Kuckoc hits it instead while Scottie sits on the bench complaining with a towel around his shoulders- great team player that day Scottie
Pippen has LOST HIS MIND! Yes I’ve watched the Last Dance prob 8 times. And still don’t get was Scottie is upset about.
Why is he so mad, he’s 1/2 of what widely considered the greatest duo of all time. 🤨🤷🏽♂️
Scottie took things too far but MJ knifed Scottie in the last dance
There will only be one Michael Jordan.
Try explaining that to the Kobe Stans who keep putting their hero alongside him.
@@Fakename70 I love them both
Smith has no clue, period.
Who cares y’all treat Michael Jordan like he god, he ain’t perfect a great basketball player but not God y’all be doing too much
MJ stepped on his teammates his whole career to get to the top, threw a few breadcrumbs here and there....ofcourse they're gonna be pissed
Ex wife blues .... Signed a horrible contract & married one
Scottie was a favorite player growing up, they say never meet your idols. and he's showing me why without ever meeting him at all. this man is living garbage. you have to be a hater yourself in order to like anything he has said in the last few years is justified.
2:35, lightning fast....
All these discussions are bogus, show, entertainment.
It’s all the NBA has left .. storylines and feminine type drama .. because the actual games are so bad
@@JoiRandomTRUTH
“Killer mentality” “He got that dawg in him”. 🤷🏿♂️🤣
You could argue that a GUARD shooting between 51-54% should be shooting more 🤷♂️
@timstsrk4731. Pippen was not nearly as good as Jordan. Pip is delusional..
Pip still mad about his wife
Pippen just mad that Jordan’s kid is with his ex-wife 😁. Grant talking smack while wearing shoes that look like J’s, and Luc definitely looking for a paycheck.
If he finds Jesus like his mom, he will forgive
Shouldn't it be the other way around lol?
We always will appreciate how good Pippen was because of NBA Jam
No Tippin' Pippen as he is known in the Chicago restaurant industry.
In Arkansas too!
@@Mrprich It says a lot about someone.
I don't tip either. Stay in school, get a better profession that doesn't rely on tips 😊
@@AvidUTuber Yeah, best not get the same waitress twice I guess.
Scottie Pippen being notorious for not tipping also ruins my respect for him.
No tippin’ Pippen.
Scottie didn't get his props or respect. And in my opinion, Scottie had to do just as much , if not even more at times
Don't worry, karmas' a bitch bulls will NEVER be relevant again. No star wants to go there after seeing the way they treated their 2nd best player of all time
Leave Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen alone!
Emasculated for being called "the number 2 basketball guy" behind Michael Jordan?
I don't get it. Sorry I just don't get it.
You don't disrespect a man's masculinity period that's going to bother anyone
And to criticize someone for trying to make more money whenMJ did exactly that in 96 asking to be traded to the Knicks if they didn’t give him 30 mill dollars is hypocritical…
Now could Pippen be jealous yes and I wouldn’t argue that, however let’s stop acting like MJ is completely innocent because he’s not.
Shame!
Greatest of is times.....but not anymore.... Kobe break is record & LBJ too😱😱😱
Stephen A Smith is the 2024 version of Charles Oakley, proud to carry Michael Jordans jock strap and being his defender in public without Michael saying one thing.
Yea it’s sad
Michael Jordan is known to be a terrible person. This is a man who stopped talking to his best friend Charles Barkley because he said Michael needed better personnel in Charlotte.
You said it right. A freaking clovn. I feel sorry for Scotty but he was always frustrated and genuine hillbilly
Scottie a goofy mane
It pains me to see two of the greatest players, the only two players in NBA history to ever threepeat-repeat together, have beef like this.
Jordan likely felt they could of won the whole thing if Pippen played, instead they had to wait a year later because Pippen didnt feel well, Jordan was willing to do and has done, playing sick in the Finals. ie his "flu" game
