This really resonated through me I think for most of us who are dealing with pain, brokenness, and loneliness this is very comforting, God really speaks in His own way for us to know that He'll never really going to leave us behind, He may be far but He'll always be there no matter what. I've been rejected by someone I really love long before he blocked me in social media, I really didn't stand a chance in any way but I tried so hard to be closer to this person because even though he might not remember my name, my face or who i am exactly at least he will remember my presence and that someone like me out there loves him. It's painful and hard and the validity of my feelings became so insignificant when the day i learned i was blocked by him i said to myself, maybe because I don't really matter and he's just passing through, i really couldn't believe it because all along i thought God blessed me with every possible signs and because I prayed really hard but no, Yesterday He told me through a random social media post that "Your pain has a purpose" Philippians 4:16 so i know that this pain I've been experiencing will be rewarded.
This is a touching song, especially how it expresses our devotion to the crucified Christ. Embracing his cross is call for us to embrace humanity despite its imperfections and weaknesses, so that there may be in us and in other people the values of holiness, courage, and faith.
