For this session Tom opted to use his 'long range' set up which consists of 12ft rods and larger big pit reels. This set up is much more suited to the style and tactics Tom was using during this particular session.
Thanks for the video. Zig fishing is awesome shame a lot of day ticket waters ban it entirely or only let you fish 1 rod as zig only. Kind of defeats the object you weren’t ever going to catch that zig caught fish on the deck and you can’t force carp to feed on the bottom. Zigs work best on 3 rod set ups allowing you to make changes and capitalise on the feeding depth.
Wicked this one . And a very special place with some really stunning carp. Big up my old China plate . Nice to see you at the weekend and thanks for the little chat mate it did help thanks tommy 🎣🎣🎣
Something I always struggle with zigs.......... never had a carp on one and always try them when I think they offer more chance than fishing on the bottom but because I’ve never had one on one, it doesn’t fill me with confidence with them.
Hi Ashley, We would advise giving them a go on a more prolific high stock venue, getting a few bites and then taking the tactic to your chosen venue. Confidence is key 👊
@@OfficialNashTackle thanks for the advice will give it a go all the free time I get at minute goes into the lake I’m a member of. But sounds like a plan for next summer 🤘🎣👍
Another class Nash video, always a good watch👍🏻will the man himself be doing a 24 hour session?

Another good 24, shame the fish were not to obliging,
I've never really use zigs s I've lost to many and have minimal confidence in them
Awesome videography and editing 👍🙂 have given me something to think about for my channel 😁🎣🐟
Thanks
Big up that’s my silver golf and my bivvy 🤣🤣
Why the fish Bleeding so bad?
Your fishing was beautiful, you are an excellent fisherman, your fishing equipment is very good, congratulations!
Hug!!!👍😎
Thank you very much
What are the disadvantages to zig fishing? I assume there are some as they’re banned in church lake
Hi Tom, zigs are not really suited to 'weedy or snaggy' waters mainly due to the long lighter hooklinks.
Great video but again not using nash reels 😂😂

Is your hook link 2 foot
3-4 ft hooklinks are ideal for fishing with adjustables, anything longer is often prone to tangling

I can assure you they're deadly mate.
