Hey abelhawk, one reference you did miss that I think counts is that when you select a Goblin Zeppelin, he says “what-what-what?!” I’m pretty sure this is a reference to Sheila Broflovski, Kyle’s mother from South Park, where when she learns something surprising, she usually exclaims the same quote.

I had to look it up and expected to find an Activision feminist VA. But I found that Laura Bailey is the newer Jaina? She's actually quite good and not a bitter feminist. However she's way too flirty and sexy to be Jaina.
The first Jaina is also the Assassin in Diablo 2. The real Diablo 2 classic. I imagine the new feminist downgrade has a nasty VA.

14:26 "I am the lord of all fire!" seems to be a reference to the first line
"I am the god of hellfire!" from the song "Fire" -- I am the god of hellfire! (1968) by Arthur Brown, also Fire - Ozzy Ozborne. Of course they have to change it and remove the religion part with "god" and "hell", but as the firelord said the line i was instantly reminded to the song.

Actually, the "Invisible Human Friend" of the Easter Bunny was a reference to the 1950 film "Harvey", in which Elwood P. Dowd (played by Jimmy Stewart, as in the "It's a Wonderful Life" reference of the same unit, due to the vocal patterns of the unit) has a giant invisible rabbit for a friend (actually a pooka from Celtic mythology).

After a little research I learned that Russian translation has an entirely different quote for Beastmaster that goes somewhat like this: "Beasts for hire. I summon the beasts, you deal with the consequences."
They've also made the joke for Beastmaster a bit better: "I summon, eh, what was it's name, whuh, euaA-A-ATCHEE-HEE! *scream of summoned animal* (that makes a sound of bull mooing) "Weeeell, I didn't estimate such a thing! (probably commenting on the huge size of the animal he just summoned)
My guess is that they ultimately decided to combine these two jokes about summoning and then came up with their own joke for the now-empty quote slot.

The 9:55 response in Spanish is "No invocaré al Floripondio del Duanetauro"
"Floripondio" is a toxic plant or a slang to refer a to a bad taste flower arrangement. "Duanetauro" in the other hand, I have no idea what that is.
So the translation would be "I will not summon the Duanetauro's Floripondio"

I don't get it. Maybe the RTS mechanics was better and the story, subjectively, was better, but saying that the old voice lines were better? 1. Jabanumadamadu is from Star Wars as well.
    2. Beastmaster's Afete dwain'tor is probably a Harry Potter reference
    3. Ice Troll's Icy is actually a pun of i see.
    4. Goblin Zeppelin's crazy laugh & mouth engine sounds are references to Banjo-Kazooie.
    5. The Dark Ranger is actually saying cold death, which is a reference to how humans go cold when they die.

4:03 You missed another Star Wars reference. 'Jabunabatabadu' isn't gibberish (Well, not random anyway), it's something Bib Fortuna (Jabba's majordomo) says when he first confronts Luke Skywalker in Return of the Jedi, just before he gets influenced by Jedi mind tricks and lets him in.

In polish version, Beastmaster says he will summon "extinct beast specie" that... uh, the best translation I could come up with is "Big Belly" so you probably see it's pretty much a joke as such creature doesn't exist neither I found references to it in any polish media. Seems like it's just something Blizzard made up? "English" variant kinda does sound like some name for a beast in orcish. At least that's my guess. Wonder what route other translators took.
