    As a teamplayer I wouldn't mind the team Ballhog to score 81 Points on 61% Shooting, 53% from beyond the arc and 90% from the FT Line...

    • @taewiz863
      @taewiz863 6 років тому +6

      Alex Nagel I mean if you’re down by 20 pts for the entire game, and nobody is making buckets except for “the team ballhog” then obviously you want to put the ball into his hands. Down by 20 the entire game, then won by 20 🤷🏽‍♂️ and with his amazing shooting he still managed 2 assists, 6 rebounds, 3 steals and 1 block.

      I would say that Kobe Bryant's 62 points is the most impressive thing I've ever seen. It's the only time an NBA history that is known, where one player outscored an entire team. Had he kept going in that game, I am confident that Kobe would have gotten 90 points and outscored the Mavericks.

    @BigTimePride Kobe has stepped up in every big game I can think of. Indiana when Shaq went out. Spurs in the West Finals. Game tying 3 against Detroit. Game Winner against Phoenix. Game 6 against Phoenix in WCF Finals in 2010. Game 4 against Denver in 09. Game 7 against the Celtics in 2010 (finding a way to win by playing stupendous defense, grabbing 15 big rebounds despite having a bad shooting night). I've got many other examples, so I really don't know what you're talking about.

    @AdrianAquino22 not only did Kobe lead that 2006 lakers team to the playoffs, but led that team to a 3-1 series lead and almost upset a phoenix suns team who were one of the top 3 teams in the league, maybe the 2nd best team in the league, if Kurt Thomas doesn't hit that game tying 3 pointer for the suns in that game 6, that series would have been over, not only that, but Kobe was scoring triple doubles throughout that entire series

    Incredibly he also had a game that season in which he had 62 points through 3 QUARTERS!!! and he sat out the 4th. Trust me, if Colorado didn't happen, people would have no problem crowning the best of a time because by now he would have had the corporate status to match his staggering statistics, ala MJ. He is still capable of scoring on an unprecedented level (4 consecutive 40 point games last week) he IS the greatest player of all time...

    @BigTimePride If you know anything about Basketball, you know it isn't a 5 game series that gets you a championship. It's the build up prior. The season. The First 3 rounds. The Finals. Kobe averaged 28.5 PPG to Shaq's 28.7 for the regular season. Kobe averaged 29.4 PPG to Shaq's 30.4 during the playoffs that season. He also nabbed 7+ rebounds a game as a guard during the playoffs and dished 6+ assists.

    @BigTimePride I'm not disregarding Shaq's physical prowess. I'm just saying Kobe was more dominant because he was much better in EVERY facet of the game. As a matter of fact, he's a better post-player than Shaq was. Shaq was limited compared to the likes of Hakeem, Duncan, etc. All he had was a drop step and a hook shot. Kobe however, had the complete offensive package. Footwork. Fundamentals. Countermoves. Unlimited Range. Speed. Hops. Everything.
