How come the LD3 sounds more liquidy while the LD2 sounds more crunchy? Did the bit crush effect get smoothed out or something?

have you heard about the REON Cistron drum machine? curious to know what you think about it.
I was/am very interested in that Cistron. It's an interesting instrument. Seems like the real power is in the delay. The FM engine and sampler seem a bit basic.
