- Short review and sound sample of the handmade Seydel Sailor Steel tremolo harmonica; an absolutely wonderful Richter tuned harp from Germany. In case you wonder: NO, I have no affiliation with Seydel harmonicas, I'm a rank amateur who happens to like this particular harmonica a LOT. I am neither sponsored nor bribed into making this little video.
Very good sound.
Dr. Bekken: THANK YOU SO MUCH! I was just about to order one of these in the Key of C, but the Key of G sounds better to me. You saved me some money! Thanks again. Cheers!

Hello Tor. This is Rex. I agree with your opinion of this fine instrument. You play it really well also.
The sound is amazing (irish viking music) God bless you, may your sails be blown in the right direction of the wind!
Very good harmonica.
I usually play chromatic, but I love Seydel's harmonicas.
Thank You !!! 😊
Hello, I played Il Silenzio on it on December 8th, 2020. But it wasn't until 2020 that I started playing the harmonica again after decades.
Thank you for the vid. I wasn’t aware that Seydel makes tremolo harmonicas in traditional tuning. I thought they would use only asian tuning (and solo on the Fanfare). On Seydel’s website I see that the sailor corresponds to a 12 hole harmonica (with additional high notes), so it will be a bit longer than normal. One question not answered on the Seydel website you did answer: The G harmonica is deeper than the C. Thank you for that, too. (The Concerto is normally high G.)
Skydiver is the Asian tuned Seydel tremolo. I’m trying to decide between it and this harp. This sounds great, btw. 😄
