- Hey guys! Here's a review of the new sewing patterns released for Summer 2019. I show you the ones I picked out as well as the rest of the collections.
Vogue, Butterick, Simplicity, New Look, McCall's and Kwik Sew

Just wanted to say that this video has been my go to for relaxing while taking a nap. For years now! Absolutely perfect. I love soft talking the most in ASMR and this is the best.
My first asmr experience was in Joann fabrics, between the sounds of the patterns, and when they would roll out the fabric, measure it, and then cut it with metal fabric scissors... I purposely go there with my grandma still to this day for that reason lol!

That is actually how I found ASMR. I love the sound of fabric being cut. So I tried finding videos of it and came across ASMR videos. 5 years later and I've been hooked ever since.
I keep coming back to this video. It is one of the greatest ASMR videos ever. I love the way you turn the pages, and your expertise on the subject matter is very soothing. Please do another like this!

Out of all the ASMRs out there, Blue is my favorite, she has some creative setups, a soothing voice, great, clear, sound equipment, and perfect lighting... she makes me want to pass out.❤❤❤❤

I just came back from Basic Military Training dying for an ASMR video after 8.5 weeks and its safe to say, it was worth coming to this video for my first to watch after coming back. 😊
Personally, I always found the sounds of screaming drill sergeants extremely relaxing.

This is the best asmr video I've ever watched. It's my go-to to fall asleep.
Have you notice she puts a yellow filter on her videos lately. My phone has a light setting that does the same because the blue is bad for sleep, unlike our dear Blue.
I really appreciate ASMR videos that keep in mind those of us watching before bed :) I also just found the "dark theme" setting for YT so it's not super bright white keeping me up later...

I love this so much.. I have not sewn for years and it has inspired me to pull out my old patterns to start creating my summer wardrobe... I do shift work and It took me over a week to watch this in entirety because I kept falling asleep about five minutes into the video.. haha Love Love Love your work :)

Just a note to new sewers out there... Very Easy Very Vogue patterns aren’t all that easy. I’m just sayin’...but great video and very relaxing. Nothing better than a slow browse in the pattern books...
Not too hard, but the tricky part is making sure the seam allowances (where the side seams are) are tacked down on each side so your elastic doesn’t get caught in a dead end. I use a little piece of fusible webbing to do that. Also, buy good quality fabric. No use working with cheap fabric doing all that work. Start with a cotton, non-silky fabric but make sure you really like it! There are numerous videos on utube that show how to sew a particular pattern step by step! Good luck!
What easy patterns would you recommend for total beginner?
@@mitzypinks1338 butterick or simplicity. Vogue patterns have stereotypically terrible instructions!
Easy beginner patterns are printable PDF patterns from Made for Mermaids and Patterns for Pirates. Ellie and Mac patterns as well.

You're soso very talented at ASMR aaaand you have this natural warmth that's just perfect for these videos.
I love ASMR that's as simple as this. In fact, I've come back to this one again and again over this past year. I enjoy the combination of the low light, your voice, your hand movements, the natural subtle crinkles of the patterns and the fact that I sew and so, I have a lovely pattern collection of my own, including several unusual Marci Tilton designs and about a dozen vintage Vogue designs. I haven't seen your sewing projects yet. I will look for them. But thank you for this video, it has helped lull me to sleep many, many times. Also love the seed catalogs. I built a community garden in my neighborhood in 2008 and look forward every spring to finding a few new things to grow. Listening to any of your garden videos is so soothing. Also love your "wildlife" videos.

Silmplicity, McCalls, Butterwick, those are the ones I remember. Those were the days! I didnt do button holes, only did zippers when I had to. My aunt and mom could sew beautifully.
So my autoplay paused and waited for the next video to load, which was this.
I found myself hovering over the play next button with my mouse while saying "I will never not watch this woman's videos".
So that is how I feel. Thank you for being here all this time. Your voice is very comforting and kind and I've always thought so.

My mom use to sew all the time, in fact she still has a dresser full of patterns in their original pouches. I can honestly say nothing will put you to sleep quicker than listening to someone going through that dresser of patterns.
