The Dawnbringer nightbringer skin I mean the High noon, is well aside from some things ruining it.
I really disliked the skin as soon as I saw it, cuz I thought it was JUST High Noon Yasuo 2.0 down to the sword guns, but after seeing the animations and all it REALLY hit a chord with me, they really gave him a good personality and a lot of charm that most of the shirtless hottie skins dont have.
I do like the idea of occasionally sprinkling angel characters in a Hell West setting. Too bad the only one I’ve seen kind of pull it off is Irelia.

@@alexcat6685 To be fair, Dawnbringer/Nightbringer was also the most generic and boring possible skinline with the dullest aesthetic from the moment it dropped, no amount of fitting the thematic or having cool ideas will ever make it not Diablo filtered through the lens of bad mobile games made to try and bait people into pulling out their wallets, and even the really standout skins (Pretty much just Lillia and Kayn as far as I remember) are only standouts because the champions that they were given to don't have other explorations of similar concepts in skinlines that actually have compelling visuals.
Nicky liking just SOMETHING about Yone is the biggest character developpement I've seen EVER !

My only criticism for High Noon Yone is that I think he was robbed of the mask that went to Varus last High Noon set. It would have gone perfectly alongside the fact that his base look has the Azakana mask
Good one. At this point Riot considers the mask on Yone completely optional, they prefer to focus on the sexy aspects of his character instead of his *MAIN THEMATIC NARRATIVE*

For what it's worth despite everything a lot of Yone stans follows you positively and it's always a joy to see your unbiased takes on him despite your personal feelings. Hot Take: Yone is a cool character with a cool concept that is shut down due to having an overloaded kit and bad player base. I know people say that he’s just “edgy-for-the-sake-of-being-edgy” but he’s a cool take on a dead samurai and makes sense lore wise

His brand of edginess isn’t as fun to me as, say, Kayn or Aatrox but otherwise he’s passable.
I just remember getting him on release with the intent of actually playing him once the dust settled and he stopped getting instalocked every game.
The following weeks were certainly telling as to how he played and, perhaps worse, the kind of people that play him.
I basically went; ”well now I don’t wanna” and he’s been gathering dust in my champ library ever since.
However, demon-cowboy-samurai? That’s unfortunately quite hard to pass up.

As a Yone enjoyer, They are indeed cool. However the rest of the design is mostly outclassed by the regular skin imo.
Yone is voiced by the same guy who played Charles in Red Dead Redemption 2. There was no doubt he could pull off that old west sounding voice. He's even better at it here than in RDR2.
