    5 years ago, I wouldn't have believed a robot would be walking around my kitchen - yet here it is. I'm no expert, but I'd be surprised if robots weren't common in homes in 20 years. I think we'll see them first evolve into smart toys and teaching tools for kids then maybe personal assistants.

      jaggiesjim at first I hated the idea of robots but this would be cool, it’s the fact it won’t stay like this that worries me

    Hello, it's fantastic to see your work! As for me, I've just got a NAO and I'm struggling for the most simple interactions. I wonder if I can take a look at your Choregraphe diagram, if possible. It would be a great help :-)

    The software is flexible, like a computer. It has flash memory for storage. You can ask it to run programs by name if you set it up.

      Now I wish I really do have a NAO robot just to see if it will even work. But can this robot even learn from experience or is it actually a high tech puppet that needs to be programmed?

  • @Kojak0
    @Kojak0 10 років тому +8

    Ok, I got to know: How much of this, and how much is the robot actually "learning" about your kitchen? I mean, is it measuring distances, materials and stuff so it can get around safely, or is this just random behaviour?

    • @bombytetoo
      @bombytetoo 7 років тому +1

      Kojak0 it's actually learning the house

    • @sheepmasterrace

    • @toastmansride
      @toastmansride 6 років тому

      Its 10k dollars and is pre programmed. It might be able to avoid obstacles but its not learning shit for real. Not worth the money at all

    @frankynakamoto2308 9 років тому

    Is better if he can store the information around him, so he can later recognize where he is at, so is easier for him to walk around, the slow walking is because he doesn't have a powerful enough battery, needs a much more powerful battery, and some memory inside, they should make it with a USB placement inside of him under the battery, so he can have additional memory storage if the buyer wants to add it to him, but should also come with a lot of integrated memory.

    • @frankynakamoto2308
      @frankynakamoto2308 9 років тому

      MrPianoguitar why would the USB be retarded? That is just a nonsense comment.
      Actually the microUSB would be far more retarded, because Micro USB's are not good for video storage.
      And they take forever to load pictures on a Micro, USB is much faster transferring information, where MicroUSB is much slower, and USB can hold much more memory, you can easily have 120GB USB, and they could even make them to hold much more memory, where is much harder for a micro to make them to hold more memory.
      You need to explain better your comment.

    I wish if robots can think on their own .... that would be great but saying on its own motion that means it needs reason to do that acquisition of very reason comes from decoding of encrypted msg but such msg is not necessarily in verbal then we need feelings to understand and act on it hmmm robots don't have feelings T_T .......
