"Sensory System" is a Danish rock band of the early 70s, which also worked fruitfully in the German expanses under the name "System". The group recorded its first album in 1972, but it was not released until 1974. In 1973, the group toured extensively in Norway and West Germany. In the end, in 1974 their long-awaited debut album was released, in Denmark it was released under the name “Sensory System” - “Sensory”, in West Germany “System” - “System”. In 1975, the group's second album was released. In 1976, Sensory System ceased to exist.

I was launched on this planet in 79 and discover most music before the 90's through elders and social media. So I warmly thank you Danish Record Hunter and other Purveyors of Rock (Uncle Lakis etc...) for sharing this music. It's an immense addition to my life experience as a person, music lover and musician (I learn a lot from 70's drummers). No historical period is to be idealized as a whole (violence is a constant, unfortunately, but as well as resistance to violence), and rock'n'roll lives on, but to me these 70's are a golden age (as well as is it to other styles) in terms of feeling, playing and sound texture. When I listen to this kind of album, it's sunshine coming up my way (even if I'm more of an overcast weather type of person !). Cheers

I appreciate your kind words. I never really thought that I'd be able to make youtube videos myself. I thought I wouldn't have the guts to throw myself to the wolves haha.
I make these videos because no one else are talking solely about music from their native countries, like I'm doing with Danish rock music. Man, I hope that there will be other youtubers in the future talking about obscure 60s and 70s music from off-the-wall countries. That's niche videos I'd like to watch.

I have heard somewhere else the melody of the solo at 34:20 on Winter's over. First thought it was on Tiger B Smith - Tiger Rock but apparently not. But perhaps it was a german band nonetheless. Doesn't matter, let's enjoy Sensory System !

Much cleaner copy than mine - I'm a bit jealous. Sounds even better without the crackles.
    The guitar really sings.
Think Nixon is still my fave track, but it's a close run thing. Love the way the track ends.

It was a hell making a vinyl rip that sounded good. Especially the chorus on 'Red Man' is suffering a bit. When I play the record it sounds absolutely perfect. But the unedited vinyl rip sounded muffled and without power. I had to edit the treble/bass and suddenly it sounded more like itself.
Yeah, the guitars are really wild on this one! 'While Nixon Plays the Piano' is still a favourite of mine, but I've also grown lots of love for 'Experience, My Teacher'. I love the dynamic songwriting on that track.
