I don't know about you, but every. Single. Era of Jacksepticeye is the best for me. He's always adorable, always sweet, and always yelling. And we all love him, don't we?
I actually first got introduced to Jacksepticeye through the evie clever bot where she knew his name. It creeped me tf out but after that I just fell in love with the content he was making. I still go back and watch his older videos like Fran bow, Never ending nightmares, etc. It just gives me nostalgia of sitting in the living room with my brother's and watching Jack play GTA and yelling "sticky bombs!!"

The audio not being as good back then is one of my favorite things about the old videos, it adds more intensity and comedy to the yelling that was always happening
I started watching in the cabin, and I could tell Jack had something somber about him and I think that’s the first reason I attached to him so quickly. I felt like maybe he was as isolated as me, a little lonely, wondering where things were going to go from there. I took comfort in his content, I truly felt that maybe his audience gave him the comfort he gave us❤️

I love Robin and I think he adds to the channel in a funny way by calling Jack out when he makes silly mistakes (excuse counter and Mario Kart or when Jack forgot what a rock slime was in Slime Rancher) plus I like that Jack doesn't have to do everything himself and he got a friend out of it

Hey Jack (Seán) Just wanted to leave a comment from the current now here in 2022. Love your content always have learned about you back in 2013/2014 saw some of your stuff then but back then I wasn't much for watching much youtube content. Now I find its the only thing I have left to look forward to in life. Right now hearing how the you started out having no one to talk too or friends to speak of doing nothing but playing games and watching content creators and being inspired by them gave you hope and made you feel less alone. Depression is a craptastic thing and being stuck in a time and place when your unable to be happy and have no clue how to make things better is taxing on a person mentally, physically, and emotionally, even spiritually... I'm glad that becoming a creator allowed you to find what it was you needed to break out of your own self prison. I my self am struggling, suffering from the woes of life. I suffer from Major Depression brought on from much of the same things you were facing then. Lack of having others in my life that make me feel like I'm wanted as part of theirs, being lonely all the time and having no one to talk to. I've also just lost my job today because I was trying to hard to make other like me in hopes they may want to be friends outside of work... so here I sit trying to find meaning in life and wonder how I can find what it is that I need to do to find my happy place in it. I never picture myself being a creator because I have no clue what I my self enjoy doing. I like gaming but I've never been really good at it, and I don't feel like I have a "presence" if that makes any sense. I can be friendly and chatty but I find I never really have much to say till I do.... *points to the 400 word rant here* lol... that and I have a major problem with self image feeling like my superpower is Invisibility because I feel like others tend to not notice me or I'm the last thing on their mind often overlooked and underappreciated. And to anyone else after me who find this video of Sean's (Jack) who feels like I do right now. I hope his story inspires you as much as others inspired him. As for myself well... tomorrows another day...

I definitely understand why people would say things like "I miss the old Jack", because of nostalgia reasons.
But you also have to understand that saying "I miss the old you" can hurt. I know it's not meant that way, but it can feel that way. If someone is trying to or has succeeded in improving themselves, saying you miss the person they used to be is jarring because all that effort to be and feel better is suddenly negated or unfavorable because people miss the old version of you.
Instead, rather than saying you miss the "old Jack" be more specific! Say "I miss (game name, certain videos, etc)" or "I loved it when he did (action, game, etc)" or things along that line. Those are things he could possibly do in the future to satisfy nostalgia without sacrificing the person he has become since then :)

These videos always make me almost nostalgic! I started watching Sean when I was 13 and I got my first phone (in 2014) and I remember how I used to get so excited for his uploads (and still do). I would watch the 8pm video with my breakfast the following morning and would watch the 5pm videos the minute they were released, it was like my favourite show that I would look forward to in the evenings after school. Sean and his channel honestly have meant so much to me and have gotten me through a lot!

its interesting as someone who started watching you recently and has been jumping around through time watching things as i feel like it, rather than in order, seeing you react to your old self and be like why is he yelling? oh that was so long ago and im like i saw that for the first time last week. it was great. watched the whole undertale run cuz my son is obsessed with the game and i started playing it to see why.
jack, i feel the same about you. when i was 10 my uncle overdosed and my grandma died, your videos cheered me up and made me smile even though it was incredibly hard to do. a video i cherish is douchebag simulator because i watched it after my grandmas wake and it stopped the tears and made me laugh again after i was suffering for so long

you’ll never see this jack but. i remember sitting on me nans couch after primary school waiting for dinner, my brother was across the room giggling at something on his ipod. curious, i checked what was so funny to him, an i found myself watching the first three episodes of the skate series. i’m 20 now, an i’ve watched every upload since then- you where there when no one else was. my entire conscious life has had you and i feel your messages, your energy, everything, had made me the person i am today. thank u. thank u for everything.

Today's fact: Before the 1800s, people had a "first" and "second sleep." They would sleep 3-4 hours, wake up for 2-3 hours to do some type of activity, then go back to sleep until morning.
