Thats right big dog. That was funny someone in the comment section said the entire almaden water system was a secret spot. 😅 i still havent cought my catfish this year. I keep going back for the bass.
Nice, I was at Loch yesterday and was pretty tough on the shore. Lots of pressure. Stained water and hard to find a spot. Got one. Small but better than nothing. Coyote seems to be going pretty good right now
Great vids Gary. I fish a lot of these spots with my little kid, especially the Perc Ponds as I live by them. Most of these places are definitely pressured so it's good to see you still catching successfully. I think I better step up my technique and use more lures as I rarely catch decent bass. Sunfish are still fun though when kid's are involved. Hopefully you keep giving more tips while out locally. Appreciate you man. Good stuff.
I'm glad you enjoy the videos! Yeah my main train of thought when fishing pressured ponds (and anywhere in general) is how closely can I match what they're eating, then what kind of structure are they relating to, and then is there a best time of day!
It's Late Fall/Winter transition right now, the fish are cold and slowing down! Jerkbaits and jigs are what I'd throw right now, but Winter is tough for sure
@@GaryzillaOutdoors I see thank...I love fishing it's my life but I think I go fishing at the wrong time of the year ....but good to know man ...like your videos ...
@uribefamilia1991 I personally think the best months are usually March through July.. when the water is warmer they get hungry! Bass are cold blooded so their metabolism depends on water temperature
@@zenobiacole9444 Los Gatos Creek during the daytime with a wacky senko or bluegill pattern spinnerbait is a decent bet, or if you're going in the later evening a whopper plopper. Or if you really want to catch a fish at one of the bigger reservoirs I'd recommend a dropshot in any area with a flat near a dropoff, or a point. Good luck dude!
I'm no coyote expert but I know there's shad and huge crawdads. So I was trying to mimic that with the chatterbait and buddy was catching them on shake head with craw plastics

@@GaryzillaOutdoors Great advice. Thanks! Finding them is definitely the hardest part. Lol
I was out there today, using lures, anchovies, night crawlers, chicken liver, not a single bite ......

Do you throw your spinners with a trailer? Nice video btw
Usually! The Megabass SV-3 has a built in "trailer" though so that's the only one I generally don't add a plastic to
