it used to be fast and facepace n super fun but they listened to too many complainers and 40 year olds they nerfed literally everything that made it fun. its not worth your time at all anymore
I love how the game warned me, before my first game ever, that if I go beyond 25 Gear score i will be matched with much stronger players. For some reason, I was one shot by fully leveled cleric (probably doesn't matter that much) with purple morning star. Just now checked the wiki and it says gs for this mace alone is 54 so waay beyond the restriction of 25. Yeah, am not giving this game another try. Uninstalled it on the spot there, but was thinking about giving it another go, but the fact that gs restrictions do not exist is just laughable.
You died to a person who Ruined Clash Of Clans! You must love a game that gives users the most common thoughts as a pop-up message regarding PvP and levels. "The HigHeR level sTuFf yOu hAvE, tHe MoRe yOu Go aGaInSt pLaYeRS aT yOuR EquiPMeNt LeVeL" I assume it's a small dev team, but that shouldn't prevent the game from having SBMM or ELO/Tool level pools where only players within a 10-level diff can play and if they happen to carry base stuff and an OP weapon, the game should give them skilled opponents.
I have well over 1000 hours in this game… most of those hours were over a year ago during the playtests. Since the playtest days the game has gotten so bad I haven’t reinstalled it for months now
Not worth it until they add low health visuals, honestly. It's a fun game but it asks too much from us players to just accept how it is to just simply uninstall because of lack of features most common games have on release.
@@Pepper462 yeah the game is at the "best and most balanced" it's ever been when cleric is dying to any ranged class ever (and any other class too since they all have way more movespeed for no good reason), warlock is healing infinitely & maintaining overall dominance in solos, gear score restrictions meaning nothing... etc. you are either a liar or a dumbass, pick one
The combat is atrocious, which for being 90% of the game is unforgivable. Also what’s the point of going in with your friends if the exits are 1 person only? garbage game I paid 0$ for it and still feel like i was ripped off.
Balancing in this game in PvP is what is killing it honestly. At its core, it's a really fun dungeon crawler that would be really awesome and fun to play with friends... And no one else. The moment PvP rears its ugly head all the issues start coming up. The Meta playstyles and the cheese tactics. The current Meta is Speed, Speed is king, Why? Because if you're faster than everyone else, you can run away from ALL OF YOUR PROBLEMS and hide behind a door until you heal. Only issue is, some classes naturally have higher speed than others and only the mega elite rich of the games playerbase can afford the best Speed Boost gear because there's a monopoly on it and Gold Farmers are scum. This wouldn't be too bad if there wasn't certain aspects that make the game a chore. Put your weapons away to run faster? Alright, pull them out to start fighting? We're here for a solid 3 seconds and in that time they've filled you with arrows and made you one shot... Rogue takes shots at you and runs away to come back and 2 shot you as you're dealing with mobs Barbarian just gets outpaced by nearly every class in the game and gets shat on as a result, want a tactic for dealing with this class? Stay away and shoot it from a distance with a bow. Game needs seriously reworked and some skills/stats need baked into eachother but I doubt it will happen at this point. The devs take all their notes from the whining bitches in their discord who aren't even old enough to play the game and only complain their favourite class isn't in the current meta because *insert minor inane skill issue here*. I'm hoping against hope at this point the game gets a little more casualized as the playerbase dies off, I think the initial population of the game coupled with the lawsuit screwed the devs over a lot in their vision. It just shouldn't be as hard and have as many issues as it does. I get it's "hardcore" but actively giving players with money and no life the ability to boost their characters speed to 110% base is fucking stupid and insane.
As someome whos logged 100 hours at this point, it is genuinely a game that still exists because its the only one of its kind. Theres nothing hardcore about the game, it just tries its hardest to endlessly annoy you at every corner and adds tiny useless caveats to make everything that could be interesting a chore to interact with. Want to attack an enemy? Better hope your mouse is positioned correctly in that doorway so you dont just hit your hand on the wall and instantly lose the fight. Want to block? Better hope you know what you look like in third person because the first person camera isnt accurate and even then people can still chunk you for half health through your block. Its all just cumbersome design under the label hardcore and people dont care to examine it.
Its a shit game thats in a niche of its own. I hate the combat and the jank. Theres no reason for it to be that slow and janky. Thats just lazy coding.
I tried playing it again today. My gearscore went to 30 (I looted some boots and gloves) whereupon the game promptly pit me against purple and orange geared players. I shook my head in disgust and couldn't uninstall this POS fast enough.
I agree with you the game isnt beginner friendly, I spent 50 hours in and im still ass getting beat by old players who knows every spawn point. But I had fun and that's probbaly the only thing making me play this game more, the will to be better. Anyways, love your content man!
I played enjoyed that Tarkov feel. Then it set in. In the shadow after fighting for idk how long there had to be no more players out of everything I walked into a room full of enemies. Walked through opened a door to a man pointing a bow at me. Another game. After killing all the enemies in a room and healing up completely IN SILENCE MIND YOU, a fucking panther jumps OUT OF THE SHADOWS and mauls me. Ok cool. Final straw. Ive again killed all the enemies in a room. While looting with a luck potion to boost my score and basically filling my pockets, I hear two stab noises and im dead. Never heard them make a peep. I uninstalled. Whoever enjoys garbage like this enjoys dog shit and if nobody will admit it I will. (Edit: I logged 8 hours at this point)
300 hrs. became a fan during the very first playtests before the lawsuit happened and the game went to shit with Warlocks, Druids being added. the balancing has been terrible the entire time, I would do anything to get the money back I spent on this POS game
I can agree that there are some major flaws mainly druid and gear score, but a lot of the problems you listed is skill issue you run by putting away items like csgo knife out. You were playing warlock healing for him is insanely easy with spells and perks.
lmfaoo i fw the content. if you try dnd again, accept your quests. it gives you a sense of direction so its not so meaningless other than pvp. definitely can get boring fast as a solo though
5:02 In his rat form LOL. There's really no incentive to play this game unless you specifically like the atmosphere and don't mind just dying 50-80 times or so till you get your physical level high enough that you can finally make it out and sell the gear. Then...you can buy more gear and go troll in pvp. After I got to like level 20 I basically felt like I beat the game. I played a solo fighter, made it out several times against other players, by myself, got some rare gear, and was like now what... Its basically the same game from now on, just easier, or I get ganged killed and die quick sooo...really the hardest part, the actual challenge, is over :/ Cause it ain't gett'n any harder than staying alive and making it out with stuff to sell as a solo fighter in starting gear against others. Played Ranger next, felt better than fighter. Still, solo, is a bland experience. Unless like I said, you like trolling people.
@@mosesslippers6370 Just nothing to do from my stand point. Maybe I'm playing the game wrong? Unless I get some friends together and we do like the castle. Most challenging part is basically done. It's not patience, it's balancing issue. No way should a stealth character strike you twice and kill you. No way a tanky character that has 150 to 185hp should be one shotting you. Holding "W" and swinging twice should not be a playstyle. There are trade offs for class perks and abilities in every major MMO ever made except for this one. A rogue that can stealth should deal less damage since they have the perk of getting the first few swings for free from stealthing. The game's pretty bad at this point. I don't know how they are ever going to balance it, but something needs to be done.
They need to rewind to play test 1 era. I liked when gear had value. I could get all attributes on cleric and actually play it solo
