@annegibson6072 I agree. I am not sure who did the editing in that video of the mom and kids but what you just said it looks like SHE did a lot of editing! 2 things are clear. 1: Saying that RCCL won't/can't tell them why they were refused boarding is ridiculous. Of course they were told, and of course everyone knows why. 2: 100% guaranteed it's the fault of the person who actually booked the cruise. She just doesn't want to admit it.
Airlines overbook all the time and innocent people kicked off planes so late comers can have their seats......or some VIP has turned up. I've seen it again and again. Don't tell me it doesn't happen with cruise lines.
I had this happen to me with Carnival waaaaayyyyy back in 1996 for my honeymoon cruise. My husband and I were denied boarding. We were told to stand off to the side while the situation was investigated. Unbeknownst to us, American Express had approved the charge for the cruise, then reversed it. We were not notified that the charge had been reversed nor were we notified that Carnival had canceled our reservation. So we fly to Port Canaveral with our boarding documents only to be told that not only was our reservation canceled, that the ship was completely booked. We contacted American Express and they advised that there had been a “glitch” on their end and they apologized. Carnival ended up having a group of guests “no show” and we were able to get their cabin 30 minutes before the ship sailed. I was bummed because we had booked a balcony suite but ended up with a category 4 inside cabin. Carnival understood the snafu and gave us onboard credit, decorated the room and they made sure that we were well taken care of. I am wondering if this family’s situation is an American Express situation…
Yes but this is 2023 and you can see on your phone if something has been reversed or denied. She most likely has a history of fraudulent charge backs and the cruise recognized her pattern and gave them the boot. When you dispute a charge, the merchant usually loses
Amex is wonderful about providing immediate email and or text transaction information IF you have set that up on your account. Sounds like she had none of those checks in place.
Thats NOT what happened here. Had their reservation been cancelled they would have been told as soon as they arrived at the cruise terminal. They would not have been able to check their bags because they were not on the cruise manifest.
I would not give any more updates on this story unless there are actual answers. I just feel like we're being strung along to see how long people will keep watching. Felt that with her 1st video, when she just kept repeating herself over and over without giving us the whole story. I certainly feel that even more now that we're 3 videos in.

Why would they offer them to cruise in the future if they’re on the do not cruise list? That doesn’t make sense. The boyfriend is awfully quiet. Maybe he knows something that he’s not admitting. 🤔
Excellent video Jay. Personally, i found the mother was doing a very "leading" interview, whereby only the information she wanted shared was coming out. Just my opinion but i feel there is a lot unsaid with this issue Please keep your videos coming Jay, i look forward to watching them Cheers, Rossco
I feel left with more questions than answers after hearing from the couple. I don't know that anyone is lying, but it feels like something is definitely being left out or there's a big part of the story that's missing. Thanks for keeping us updated!
the Mother is a liar, she probably booked three in the cabin with her as an adult and they are underage and were refused boarding when Mom no showed.... the staff waited till the last minute to see if the third person of age showed up..
@@robikenoll-faries6589 I think it is long nails who has the issues. Can only imagine the type of chaos, the hand clapping, the loud voice, the MFers coming out of her mouth when they told them there was a problem. She’s failed to record the entire story and then is editing it down? That’s not good evidence. I want to hear the entire unedited story and I want evidence from all interested parties. I realize she’s trying to argue this in the court of public opinion, but she’d be better to hire them a lawyer to threaten a law suit.
Maybe the mom is trying to get her son and his girlfriend to "come clean" because she truly wants to know, or she just likes to make TikTok videos. Mistaken identity with the girlfriend? So the problem was with the girlfriend and her "drink package purchase"?? or her name showing up as having sailed on Royal Caribbean before??
I feel the same. I have looked at all three of her videos, she looks like she wants to be a social media star. Anyway, I don't trust her. You would think that after all this time they would of been told what went wrong with their reservation. Seems like the son didn't care what was going on, he was playing with his phone and himself the whole time.
It’s not being a lawyer, it’s her kids. When you a parent, you don’t want your kids to be wronged in anyway possible. The ignorance of some of y’all people.
@@NewYorkBornno ones being ignorant. A cruise wouldn’t just take your money deny you boarding by accident. Whatever’s the reason was was probably communicated to her personally and we dont know what it is yet
The girl disputed the charge and thought she was getting on the cruise for free. She cpuldve very easily showed the mother her american express account which shows all her disputes. If she didnt dispute it would show but i bet u that girl disputed charge (pribably got refunded) and tried to get on cruise anyway and got caught doing it.
I think they were given a reason by RC. I think they know exactly what that reason is and I think they're not telling us the reason. I don't even think they told the mom what the real reason is.
Jay, I'm a loyal NCL cruiser- took 2 this year. AND I just got off a Royal. To say that alone is suspicious is off. Plenty of folks sail with several lines. Nothing nefarious about that. But here, this is one of the many reasons we only book through the cruise line themselves and NOT an outside agency. The outside agency owes you nothing, but at the very least, the cruise line wants to try to accommodate and serve you. LIke always getting insurance, we always book through the line. More expensive sure, but peace of mind has a value.
Just an fyi, it’s not more if you go directly through the cruiseline. As a TA, my prices are basically the same unless there is a special that is not on their website or you are part of a group..
You can have your cake and eat it too. You can book through a travel agent and get their benefits; lower price , stateroom credit, premium dining or whatever. Then you can access you reservation on the cruise line's website, check the status and if you want book add on packages and shore excursions you can do so directly with the cruise line. You can buy insurance with directly with the cruise line or the travel agent if they offer it. Of course this can all be done with the cruise line's 800 number if you don't like computers. The only thing you might not be able to do with the cruise line once you've booked with the travel agent is cancel the cruise. You'll probably be sent back to the TA for that.
I always book through the cruise line too, but the prices are pretty much the same as some of these sites that offer deals. I always feel like the less people involved the less chance for a mistake. We prefer RC & have never had a problem even the few times we had to cancel & rebook.
I read allegedly the mother was booked in the cabin with them but she didn’t go and that the kids are under 21. Since the mother didn’t show, there was no one over the age of 21 in the cabin so the cruise company wouldn’t let them board. Not sure if this is true. Just what I read on another channel.
@@yo-yowilliams2022if this is true then it makes sense and this family needs to stop embarrassing themselves. We can all tell by this point they are hiding something.
Here's what's bothering me. The prevailing story is that they were denied boarding because of a chargeback for a drink package. Firstly, a charge back is initiated by the cardholder, not the credit card company. If the credit card company detects fraud its not handled as a chargeback. Secondly, Drink packages are an add on. If we are to believe that this was flagged for fraud by the credit card company, they would flag the "lil $200" as she put it, and not the $4000 cruise purchase. That doesn't make sense to me. Lastly, drink packages are add ons, it doesn't make sense to me that RC would deny boarding because an add on was charged back (which I believe it probably was). It makes sense to me that they would just proceed without the drink package or ask them to pay another way, not cancel their entire sailing. That would be like saying "you tried to purchase an excursion and your card declined so we're cancelling your cruise". Drink packages are an extra feature that is not a part of the standard cruise fare. What does make sense to me, is that Royal denied boarding because THEY spotted some kind of fraud or inconsistency. Maybe it wasn't just the drink package that was charged back like they're telling us or maybe the couple has done fraud before and they've been flagged. Either way I don't believe we're getting the truth here.
@@CJcruisinthat *can* happen on NCL. Yes. But it can NOT happen on Royal. When you purchase a cruise planner item it is added to your CRUISE PLANNER, not your reservation. It’s not a reservation-level item. Check your past Royal and NCL confirmations and you’ll see the difference. That’s not what happened here. Now, if she was flagged for fraud on cruise planner items, then that team may have spoken to reservations and THEY may have flagged their reservation. But CP agents will not ever cancel a cruise. They can’t even do that. The two teams are entirely separate.
@@CJcruisin Sir or Ma’am, they are NOT going to cancel your whole cruise because you didn’t pay for a drink package. @jahbern is absolutely correct, it’s the same procedure on Carnival. Drink packages are add-ons and add-on are handled in the CRUISE MANAGER not in the reservation system. However they WILL cancel your cruise if you don’t pay for the initial cabin costs, which is what I think is actually happening here. I don’t think this has anything to do with any drink package. I think that’s what they’re telling y’all but that’s not the truth. I believe something was up with their cruise fare and their payment. I don’t believe the story they’re telling is the truth.
Hey Guys...she didn't say anything about being denied on this cruise due to a drink package, she was stating that when she cruised on Carnival in the past that she had an issue with an Amex payment for her drink package; stating that it got sorted out with Carnival and all was well. She was showing an example of something that happened on another cruise line, with her Amex card and what the cruise line did/how it was resolved and to show that she had an issue in the past with her Amex. I know...she is difficult to understand, and speaks very fast.
Between leading her witnesses, virtually putting her words in their mouths, and her deliberate editing, there is something this woman is concealing. If her story is true, she is doing a disservice to these two by the manner in which she is presenting it. That said, there are always three sides to every story; theirs, Royal Caribbean's, and the truth.
@@JuileJay My observation was only in the lack of objective, open-ended questions, as opposed to her almost multiple sentenced lead-ins she used to have them follow along. That tactic reduces the sense of her legitimacy.
What she isn’t concealing is how poor her parenting has been- these “kids” are way too old to have mommy involved to this degree. The kids seem happy to have Mom’s help for this- the second clue this parent did a bad job raising ADULTS.
Why are they hidden? Are they in witness protection? Why is she interviewing her “kids”? I think most of us don’t really care about this story anymore. There is something missing.
That whole recording them but not showing their faces was just WEIRD. If they weren’t camera ready, then why didn’t she wait and record them when they were. To me, both mom and kids lose credibility in this ‘interview’, having a conversation with their lower bodies. 🙄
This happened to my daughter, with a hotel. Using a 3rd party site The hotel overbooked And they did not honor the 3rd party guest. In other words she couldn’t stay at that hotel. The 3rd party company found her another hotel. But this is crazy for a cruise line. I will never use a 3rd party company. Because of the experience we had.👍🏾✌🏾
I had the same thing happen to me at a hotel we booked via 3rd party - we didn’t get to our destination until 11:00pm and found ourselves without a room - luckily they were able to find us a room at a nearby hotel but no more 3rd party sites for me
Same happened to us. We got to the hotel and they said they didn't have a room. We had to find another hotel. On top of that when we went to get our refund, the third party site denied us because "the hotel marked us as no show" so we were denied. Never again.
Hotels overbook all the time regardless of whether you book directly with them or through a third party site. The difference is, if you book directly with the hotel, they find you another place to stay. If you book through a third party, you have to deal with them. But in those instances, you are told they overbooked. Supposedly these people aren't being given a reason they were denied boarding.
If a couple were moved into the room that was supposed to be occupied by this other couple, that is not unusual. If a room becomes available, a couple from a lower class room may have been upgraded to this now unoccupied room. That is not an unusual occurrence And has happened to me. What was mentioned here was the possibility of this couple being on a “deny boarding“ list for past indiscretions. Those thoughts crossed many minds here making comments.
I’ve been following this story all week and I still have no idea why they couldn’t sail. I still feel like there’s something crucial being left out of the story. They either need to tell the whole thing or drop it.
@@vietnamvet4533 I agree. I also have Amex Gold and I’ve never had them reverse charges or anything like that. But I’ve also never made false claims of fraud… It’s also in the best interest of the cruise line to have people sail, it’s how they make money. That’s a huge part of why I believe they are leaving out a big part of this long drawn out story!
Please, do not throw Travel Agents under the bus here! You have no idea how many people travel agents have helped out. There is definitely some fact that has been left out here.
Lol this guy blames everyone but Royal, apparently Royal is perfect. It was either the TA or Carnival because that was her previous cruise line. LMAO the reasoning is ridiculous
This is always why you check and go to the cruise lines website a day or two before you cruise and make sure everything is done. Bypass the travel agency and make sure everything's okay with the cruise line. Could have saved him a lot of trouble
Exactly. We just sailed Carnival Celebration and changes were made to our embarkation times due to an emergency that occurred on the prior weeks sailing. Our embarkation was delayed but I was checking my booking info up until our embarkation time.
How do two 21 year old kids afford a $4100 cruise? Maybe it was the mom that paid for the cruise and that is why she is so involved. Also, if they didn't do anything wrong, why are they not working with an attorney and why are they so afraid to show their face?
Just because they don’t want to have their faces shown on the internet that doesn’t mean they are “afraid” of anything. Lots of young (& old) people would feel too self conscious to appear online and would prefer to have their parent do it for them. My 22 year old daughter has only posted still photos online a few times because of self-consciousness. Maybe you’re right and the mom did pay for the cruise or contributed to it so that’s why she’s handling this issue. Or maybe she just thought she could help her son & his girlfriend because she’s older, has more travel experience, or just life experience. I still sometimes help my (young adult) kids with things that are new to them. Or maybe the mom just thought she could do a better job of explaining their situation. In this video the girlfriend speaks fairly quickly so I found it much it harder to listen to her. I couldn’t follow some of what she was saying. And the son barely said a word. But the mom spoke at what I consider a normal pace.(I also don’t like to listen to super slow talkers.) So I think it’s probably a good thing that the mom is handling this. I wish the other couple that they were traveling with, that were allowed onboard and went on the cruise, had done some more investigating. I don’t remember if it was mentioned in this video or if it was in a previous one, but they said that they saw other passengers come out of the cabin that was originally assigned to the couple that were denied boarding. I wish their friends had knocked on the door and asked the people what their story was - when did they make the reservations, what their name was, etc. I’m not saying that the other passengers in that cabin did anything wrong. But they might have been able to provide helpful information that could indicate if Royal Caribbean had overbooked that cabin. At this point Royal Caribbean could deny that any passengers even stayed in that room during that cruise. Even though this story is obviously missing some info, I think it’s the cruise line that sounds fishy. I don’t know why so many people seem to suspect that the couple and mom are lying or leaving out important info. Also, the host of this channel said that he thinks it’s strange that the couple had switched from using a different cruise line to Royal Caribbean, because he claims that people are very loyal to their favorite cruise line, and maybe they got in trouble with their previous cruise company. I think that’s ridiculous. Some people are very loyal to a particular cruise line and some don’t care at all. I’ve been on 4 cruises on 3 different lines. I like to try out different companies to see what the differences are. I choose based on the itinerary and the price. Plus, if this couple was only 21 now this was probably the first time that they had chosen the cruise themselves. If they had been cruising with parents in the past then the “kids” weren’t the ones booking the cruises then. So any loyalty would have been on the parent’s part.
It was a birthday cruise, so yes, the cruise was likely paid for by the mother OR they saved up for it. People do that, you know. I've saved up for a year or more to buy something I want.
My son saved up $6k for his half of his first car by the time he was 17…it’s not that hard to fathom. At 21 it’s not unreasonable to believe they WORK and SAVE money. Seriously?
@@synnove1046I agree that implying switching cruise lines isn’t any kind of flag. My husband and I plan on trying different lines because how can you declare a cruise line is your favorite if you haven’t compared experiences!??
I was thinking the same thing. I work in a bank and we have people who try to charge back things just to get the money back. I wonder if they could have been flagged for something of that nature happening with other cruise lines in the past.
@@karyndewit193 If there is fraud on your account or card the bank will dispute it, they give credit to you, and then recover it from the merchant basically charging them to give the money back. It is useful for fraud, but some people take advantage of this by disputing charges which are legit.

If the kids were on some sort of "no sail" list from another cruise line... maybe that's why someone thought they had sailed with Royal previously. They just assumed because there was a report on them, that it must have been from a previous Royal sailing. It's also a little strange that they had the same exact issue with Carnival.
@@AtomicAgePictures right. We are hearing the whole story & what we are hearing is structured to make her “kids” look like innocent little things & the cruise line like the big bad wolf.
I’m halfway through and it’s very telling that the son has nothing to say. Maybe he’s been put on the no go list but RC didn’t want to tell the girlfriend that.
Agreed that something is left out. If i paid $4000 for cruise and was simply told sorry I would either, BY NOW, know the the reason OR be TOO EMBARRASSED to post videos letting the world know I am SO INCOMPETENT I cannot find out why a cruise line denied boarding AND kept the money!!
One of the things I found interesting information is that the cabin they booked had different passengers in it. Ummmm...sounds like that is why they could not board - because the cruise line cancelled their reservation because of a drink package payment issue and had already put someone else in that cabin. I think the TA dropped the ball as well.
Yes. Weren't they going for a birthday celebration. Maybe the drink package was ordered before she turned 21?? Just a thought. Or they overbooked the cruise and someone else got their cabin first? Or a mistaken identity problem?
You don't know that! You are getting information 3rd-party. If someone's cruise is cancelled (no show) and the ship has left the port, the room is eligible for an upgrade (paid/comped). Most times many passengers upon arriving go to customer service and ask about upgrade opportunities. If the couple were cancelled due to No Show (mom's words), the room will be made available for an upgrade. Sometimes common sense is more probable than searching for less than likely reasons.
She actually said she sailed on Carnival before. To me it sounds like an over sold sailing. There were people already in their room. They probably targeted them because of their age. Why would they want them to book another sailing? Why not give them their money back? Why won’t RC say why their trip was revoked? Why couldn’t they get their belongings? Yes, there are questions but perhaps Royal needs to also give some answers.
Thanks for keeping us informed, Jay. I've been following this story not because I'm nosy but because I plan to take more cruises. Knowing about things like this that could potentially happen help me to be more proactive and diligent in my own cruise planning. I don't want any surprises on sailing day.
Yes! Being aware of items that the cruise line prohibits is very important! People need to be aware of these things beforehand. There are so many here who are just ignoring what I say. Thank you allthingsnu4673 for you can think critically and consider other options! 😊
Thanks for coming back with another update. I agree and I said the same in my last post on your channel there is something missing. I have shown more energy when I have received bad service or the wrong order than the "kids" are showing for all of the money and time that they are stating was lost. Too calm for me, so someone knows why but they are not sharing.
🔴 something that you mentioned on your last video that you did not mention on this video is that the other couple that was sailing with this couple saw other people occupying the room that this couple were supposed to be in so let’s not forget overbooking as a possibility.
I guess that could seem suspicious, but it’s really not. Inventory on a cruise ship is limited - if someone needs a new room or if Royal can sell an upgrade, they will take ANY available room. So if the kids were denied boarding their room was immediately put back into available inventory. Remember that a cruise line’s entire purpose is to make money. If they can sell a now-empty room you know they will. 😂
I've never been loyal to a particular cruise line... mostly because I like experiencing different ships and all types of travel. I dont think switching to different cruise line is a sign of fraud.
I've been cruising since I was 6months old. We stuck to 3 or 4 different lines when I was a child. Some don't even exist anymore. Now that I watch cruise videos I want to watch even more videos.
Thank you Jay. I listened to this video twice and I still don't understand what is going on. A cruise line doesn't deny passage for no reason. Something her just doesn't gel. Keep us posted. I kinds wish we could see their faces. A picture does paint a thousand words.
Working in hotels, i can say if you have an issue and you used a 3rd party company to book, its probably because you used a 3rd party to book. When possible, book directly. If its not that much of a difference in price, book directly. (And im talking about 3rd party websites, not travel agents you work personally with and that have a good reputation.)
All cruise bookings are “direct” with the cruise line. They are all booked on the cruise line site (it just may be the TA portal to the site) and paid directly to the cruise line. Always. And just to clarify, “3rd party agents” aren’t a thing when it comes to cruising. All companies selling cruises are acting as travel agencies (we call them online travel agencies or OTAs). Their contracts are negotiated the same way smaller agencies’ contracts are negotiated. Well, ok, not exactly the same since OTAs can negotiate bigger commission cuts, but the language in the contract is the same. Unlike hotels, cruise lines don’t sell “blocks” of rooms to the agency, which the agency then “owns.” All Royal rooms HAVE TO BE booked direct with Royal and paid for by the passenger’s credit card. Agencies aren’t supposed to use their agency card and get reimbursed by the cruise line. It’s true that hotels will walk OTA bookings first because they tend to be the cheapest rates and the least loyal guests. But cruise lines can’t and wouldn’t do that. First because you can’t book in any way that isn’t directly with the cruise line, but second because it would be an absolute MESS if cruise lines just abandoned paid guests at the port. Hotels can walk guests to another hotel. Where would a cruise line walk their guests?
Feels like imo that the two young people had an unfortunate experience, but were not expecting their situation to be taken to the court of social media, so they may be leaving somethings out or at least one person isn’t saying everything due to embarrassment. Doesn’t sound like they were wanting this out there. Mom was frustrated and confused and meant well but shouldn’t have put them out like that.
They already said what was wrong. I think I heard the girl say that they ordered a drink package and it was charged back. It didn’t go through. Normally, when that happens, we found out they canceled your cruise. She said that she had cash and another credit card with ID and was willing to pay for it, but they said no you weren’t sailing. Probably because the ship was sold out. That’s why they were offering them a new cruise. They should’ve taken the cruise instead of saying they wanted their cash back. If they took the new cruise, the penalties would not have applied.
Yep that's how i see it too, very simple. We have seen previous stories where something like a drink package wasn't paid for after being added to cart and it resulted in the whole cruise being cancelled. I do wonder if they are miss-using the word chargeback though to describe the charge not going through because of Amex's fraud protection or something like that.
Would that mean they "couldve" known about the cancelled cruise before they even hopped on the plane to the port and walked up to security? I just can't believe a company would not inform the customer within a timely manner if they canceled the whole cruise due to nonpayment - you think they just didn't check their email or something so they had to learn it the hard way?
The chargeback was glossed over and needed much more depth. Who initiated it and when? The girlfriend mentioned the drink package. IF the chargeback was initiated by the cardholder, which is usually how they happen, things get suspicious. The alcohol drink package is up to $105/person/day on RCL; it’s unlimited with some exceptions. Then there are less cost non-alcohol packages. According to RCL policy stated on their website, if one adult buys the deluxe alcohol package, then all other persons of drinking age in that stateroom must also buy that package. Obviously, the cruise line doesn’t want everyone in that stateroom drinking off one package. Note the girlfriend was willing to pay for the drink package at boarding that had been charged back before the cruise. This tells me that it was not a mistake to have been charged for it is the first place. She wanted that drink package, and APPARENTLY tried to get around having two packages for the room by trying to charge back her package after she booked it and before boarding. The girlfriend also throws a lot of red herrings into "interview" about several things that were off-topic. She sped over that drink package, and switched topics fast. IF the girlfriend purchased the drink package at booking, and then disputed her package to AMX, that’s a HUGE issue. It looks highly suspicious that she was trying to get around paying the daily cost of her drink package by disputing it and trying to have it canceled so the couple would drink off one package, IF that is what she did. It is essentially stealing for RCL, and I can see why they would not want to have such guests. Chargebacks give companies a bad rep. I could be wrong on this so please in the NEXT update, explain who initiated the chargeback and at what point after booking and before boarding. Also, which drink package did the son have? That’s SO important. Also, grow up couple, video neck up (the leg thing was just WEIRD!) and speak for yourselves instead of mommy doing a poor example a 60 Minutes interview. Mommy needs to stay totally out of it.
@@cakienudge The deluxe package can be up to that much a day. Sometimes you can get a better deal. It does include non-alcoholic beverages also, which can really add up on a cruise ship fast.
$105 worth of alcohol per day is the perfect amount to get these youngsters to make a mixed race grand-baby for mom. Mom needs the grand-baby to get her viewership up and will use it to create another 685 more tictok videos!
Weirdly I can see how something like this could happen- I booked directly with Carnival- paid completely- then all of a sudden, the third person in our cabin had a mysterious reservation in his name with an entirely different cabin number and it showed not paid- less than a 30 day booking mind you. He could not make any reservation changes (special needs)- Carnival almost cancelled my prepaid reservation, which was a better room, mind you in, favor of the unpaid one- if I hadn't called them right away when I saw the email come to my email- I wouldn't have known.
I had something similar to this with a hotel in Miami. I went to check in I was told I canceled my reservation. I showed them my paid in full receipt. Then management came out and said they are now fully booked and no rooms available. And I had to contact the company that I booked with. We sat in the lobby for 3 hours. I had to FORCE them to find me another hotel. For this incident I became a professional in the travel industry. I wouldn't want anyone to go through that. So it happens more than you know
It definitely happens with hotels and flights. Absolutely. Can you guess why it could happen with them but not with a cruise? The answer is: if your hotel is overbooked, they walk your reservation to another hotel. Same with flights. How would that work with a cruise? They can’t just put you on the next cruise, you know? When cruises are overbooked (and they are) the overbooking is reconciled well in advance. Preferably months, but sometimes they only have a few weeks. Cruise lines absolutely, positively DO NOT want to be known for stranding passengers in foreign countries with no where to sleep that night. Yikes. No. This is something else. BUT - you are right that this does happen with hotels, so always have your travel agent book you directly with the hotel when possible. Expedia and Priceline bookings are the first to be walked and TAs know that. 👍🏻
If they ever get to the bottom of it definitely let us know. I don’t have tik tok so I can’t check myself. All cruisers want to know what happened and what if anything we can do to avoid this mess happening to us. It sounds like something to do with the credit card. Or they had someone with the same name that they had problems with. Some people will dispute credit card charges to try and get things for free.
You hit the nail on the head. The chargeback is the issue, especially with AmEx. When a customer charges back, this creates a huge burden on the merchant and that customer will most certainly be flagged. AmEx and Discover are very aggressive in advocating for their cardholders when the cardholder files a chargeback and the merchant usually is on the losing end. Finally, yes, many people will try to charge back thinking that during the investigation period they can use whatever good or service they charged back. It's a form of fraud that is becoming more common. The more sophisticated merchants are aware of this trend and are fighting back accordingly.
I haven’t even looked at half of video and to me they’re just talking but they’re not saying nothing. Of course there’s more to the story but we’re not gonna get it on this video because they’re just not saying anything.
Mom is enjoying all the attention for herself. She comes across as narcissistic at and a "helicopter mom". If her son is old enough to book a cruise and go off with his girlfriend he is certainly old enough to handle this situation. Now I honestly don't expect the cruise line to issue any public statement, this isn't or at least shouldn't be a public issue. Although Mom certainly is turning it into one. She maybe hoping to pressure the cruise line into a larger financial windfall.
BINGO! You-my friend- hit the nail on the head! She’s trying very hard to make this about her as well. Seems as if she is trying to make points on her social media Tic Toc.
@@boatshaughie2841yeah, I caught that too. They were filmed in the morning and weren’t “camera ready” makes me believe they both live there, the son at least…gf has AMEX Gold which isnt the easiest card to get unless they are piggybacking off mom’s Platty card….which makes even more sense why mom is so involved.
To be clear, the son didn't really comment on anything. He uttered a few almost unintelligible words. Not saying anything about the girlfriend, just saying that the son seemed to be sleeping for most of the mom's clip. Still seems super weird that they didn't want to be on camera.
Stick with this story J. The more air play this gets may get us some answers. The bad press for RCL should get someone to talk eventually. I’m intrigued‼️
So I recently experienced something very similar. One of our Carnival booking was canceled without notice. No e-mail, no phone call, no refund, nothing. I only realized one of our cabins were canceled because it disappeared from my manager app and I couldn't add speciality dining. I notified my agent and we spent two days on the phone trying to figure out what happened and how to fix it. We later found out that there is a cruising age limit of 25 y/o and one of our cabins was reserved for my 21 y/o. We finally fixed the issue.
My son and his girlfriend booked a cruise. Carnival called them and explained that they were under 25 and weren’t married and couldn’t sail alone. I had to book a room and go on the cruise because they had to link their room to mine.
@@yikesyikes5974 Yes, on day two of calling that was explained. There was a system error thay allowed my agent to book and confirm the reservation. My agent and Carnival apologized, because no one reached out to either of us. Is reservation was just canceled. In the end Carnival did right by us.
@@johnngai4561 My thoughts too. However, that restriction doesn't apply to all cruise types or all cruisers. The system allowed the booking. But we weren't contacted prior to the cancelation. Just glad everyone is on the same page now. Fingers and toes crossed.
Also I would never book through a 3rd party. My daughter was a manager for Marriott, the horror stories she told me about people who booked through a 3rd party for a room was enough to stop me. Suffice it to say, they are not treated the same as someone who books through the hotel. Nothing to do with cruising i understand but its probably all relative.
I think that's silly. Every time we head to Europe, we always book through gate 1 travel, which is a 3rd party. I think that there's info missing from this story. Plenty of people use Expedia, travel agents, etc
I don’t know if RC like Carnival but unless you are married or in the military, even though you are 21 you still need someone 25 or older on the trip with you according to their website so that may apply to RC as well and that’s why they were offered cruise credit so they could sail at a later time with someone of age.
I'm pretty confident it's 21 and not 25. I cruised with my now husband when we were 22 and 23 before we were married. I think both people in the room need to be over 21 unless they're married
I want a part 4! This is better than some TV mystery shows! 😁 People do jump jump to different lines! I like many started off with Carnival, but then jumped to Royal Caribbean for a while. Then tried Celebrity, but wasn't my cup of tea. Then ended up being a NCL junkie who likes to do Royal occasionally. They are young, maybe they just wanted to try a nicer cruise line. -- The TSA no fly list know to mix people up, it wouldn't surprise me if the cruise line does have a no sale list, that just maybe they mixed up two people as well.
When u hv a confirmed booking from the cruise, u always can check on the web to make sure your reservation still there prior to your embark to the cruise.
Jay I don't agree about people changing lines I tried princess and NCL before going back to carnival so I could be they were exploring the options either way thank you for the cruise news your channel is doing great keep up the good work and keep on dancing
This has literally turned into a Unsolved Mysteries Episode. I did peek what she said a Being on Carnival and having Charge Back Issue. Good Job on Updates Jay.
Oh that girl paid for the cruise and called in a dispute on amex for the charge and they caught her trying to get on the cruise anyway. This is not a cruse line situation. Her daughter can open her amex account online and show her she didnt do a chargeback if that is true Charge back is not a fraud freeze it is a disputed transaction that customer got money back for
She mentioned a charge back for the drink package. That might be what happened. When it didn't go through, it left them an unpaid balance. You have a Certain date before you travel to pay everything off or they will cancel your trip and sometimes will not refund your money. They then resold their room. The ship was probably sold out at that point and the only thing they could do was give them credit for another cruise 🛳. They will be lucky if they get their money back. 😢 For future cruises, make sure everything is paid in full before the deadline date. Don't even add on dining or excursions after the deadline! Just wait until you get on the ship to add on extras. You can add on the drink package as well once you board the ship 😊
I’m a travel agent and I’m taking this all the way to the wall for my clients. You’re giving me some answers. You’re definitely giving money back if you don’t allow them on the ship. If my clients have any issues, they let me know and sit back and relax. I’m resolving it all. You don’t need to talk to anyone but me. Any other calls or any other conversations needed to be had will be handled by me. I know how excited I am every time I’m at the port for a cruise. I can’t imagine this disappointment of someone this happens to.
The list is real in 2017 I went on a cruise with my coworker and she had ran up charges on Carnival however she kept ignoring letter placed on the door so when we disembarked alarms went off and set city took her to guest service they told me I could go ahead they gave her a letter with all her charges and told her she had two week to pay the balance fast forward she tried to go on another cruise line and was denied boarding that experience I travel solo now
Like I said, in my last comment in the last video about this matter - the mom and her constant smiling face and the fact that she’s completely commandeering this whole debacle for her grown son and daughter-in-law. I don’t know what her child/ children is hers but it’s giving tiger mom Karen vibes and it needs to stop. They are definitely not telling the full story, because none of this makes sense.
The young lady sounds like she’s telling it from her heart, it doesn’t sound practiced or rehearsed. I think RCCL double booked the stateroom or they were mistaken for someone else BUT they should have pictures if that was the issue.
Omg I notice that too the smiling is so weird like I just think she wanted her 5 minutes of fame because u should see her last update video which was yesterday still the same thing no reason why they got denied
@@michelleschifko5969 yes. Cruise lines overbook cabins. It happens more than we like to admit. But cruise lines reconcile the overbooked cruises weeks and months before sailing. It would be an absolutely unsustainable practice to just let people fly (potentially) thousands of miles to a foreign country and just leave them at the port with nowhere to sleep that night. You can see how that might be possible with a hotel or a flight, but not a cruise, right?
This story is great for the Believe It ir Not edition! I have cruised icer 34 times on Carnival, RC, Celebrity, Princesses, MCS and have never had such a problem. Booked through 3rd parties, TAs and direct. Would ❤ to hear more
These kids are lying through their teeth. The excuses thev've given have happened to me. I inadvertently presented a bad credit card number for my shipboard account. They told me to fix it and I did. I've had a travel agent misspell my name so that it obviously did not match my name on my passport. I was able to fix that well ahead my trip. If I hadn't caught it, no doubt I would have faced delay and aggravation at the pier, but eventually it would have been resolved. The most damning lie here is that the kids main concern is "they just want to get their money back". Any reasonable person who was kicked off a cruise with no explanation would want to get to the bottom of why they were denied boarding. Unless, of course they already know. Probably they are on a no sail list, possibly from RCCL, possibly from someone else that RCCL is honoring. Possibly they gave another name to the travel agent so the booking would go through and then got nabbed when RCCL checked their passports.
Just got home Saturday, Oct.14th from a RC cruise. Prior to boarding we had purchased our shore excursions, drink packages, completed our medical info and skd our check in time. I've been cruising since i was a kid with my parents and i was amazed how smoothly everything went. Keep in mind we are only hearing her(kids) side of the story but something surly seems suspicious with this drama.
I feel like there’s something they don’t want the MOM to know, so that’s why the story is being told in this manner, with this blank spot that we all see in the middle of this story. 😅
I’ve been on 3 cruises each with a different company. So I wouldn’t be so quick to use the logic of “why would they change their loyalty, unless if something fishy happened”. I think more and more people are realizing that the loyalty perks are t that great unless you’re cruising a hell of a lot. Like more than once a year (which isn’t the case for the average joe)
Two thoughts: 1. The mom edited this video. She left secure out multiple parts of the conversation. 2. Listen really closed around @8:00. The girl says she could have still gotten on the cruise. The conversation then goes to getting a refund. This strongly suggests that there was an issue with the credit card. The girl/som get pissed of and yelled her way off the cruise. Finally, Carnival owns other cruise lines including Princess. The girl references Royal, but perhaps she meant something else.
I agree. I am not sure who did the editing in that video of the mom and kids but what you just said it looks like SHE did a lot of editing! Skip at 2:15, 2:21, 2:59, 3:09, 3:21, 3:56, 4:51, 5:48, 6:09, 6:18, 6:48, 7:07, 7:15, You can tell she edit something out at 7:59, 8:04, 8:40 BIG jump cut at 8:49, 8:59, 914, 9:16, 9:23
I truly believe at this point they were flagged due to the “chargeback” issue. Most likely there was a previous behavior/issue regarding it. People will buy things that they cannot afford or do not want to pay for and say they never received it or it was a false charge. I do not know but it seems to be going in this direction. It’s all very confusing.
I agree that there has to be more to the story, but I have to disagree that people don’t try other lines. I am a Diamond member with Royal, but I also sail with Carnival, NCL, and Princess. For me, it depends on the timing, price, and itinerary. Not to mention that all of the cruise lines seem to have gone a little nuts, so my loyalty is wavering lately.
I am a platinum, frequent cruiser with RCCL and they just denied me entrance on a fully paid 3 day cruise so I totally believe this. They have become so disorganized that RCCL doesn't know what is going on themselves. They contract out most parts of their business to people in various parts of the world who have no idea of what you are asking and just recite the same memorized responses to any question. I have TSA precheck as well as clear and my passport is pre-scanned through mobile passport control so I don't even need to wait at the customs desk but a RCCL employee decided I couldn't sail because she didn't like my ID - which had already been scanned and accepted by RCCL. I booked directly with RCCL - no 3rd party involved. She said I couldn't sail because I wouldn't be allowed back in the country. Then she went on to tell me that a customs officer would be the only person who could determine whether or not I was allowed back into the country so I said, then why are you telling me I can't sail? She hemmed and hawed and gave me all sorts of bs and in the end couldn't give me an answer but still insisted that I get off the ship. Worst cruise line ever.
So she had money to pay cash but all her money was in her luggage. The fact that dude is so quiet and doesn’t want his face to be seen leads me to believe he knows it was their issue but doesn’t have the heart or balls to tell them
Agreed. By nature it would be more likely for the son to be talking to the mother than the girlfriend yet she’s the one doing all the talking. I’m suspecting the young man is not really the woman’s son and there’s another agenda. Don’t know what it would be tho.
@@snaggledaggle7027 that’s another angle. You are only allowed to take so much cash out of the country. Maybe they were over the limit and it flagged something.
This lady is like the videos that say "like for part 2"😉 but her's are part 1-7. If it doesn't make dollars it doesn't make sense. I guess she's TikTok famous now🤷. Thanks J for keeping us in the loop 👍🥰
There's another update. Apparently they got a full refund now. The mom said she was not booked on the room and didn't go, but she didn't say their ages. I still say it's something they did and don't want to admit it, either they don't want to tell the mom or the mom doesn't want to put it online cuz this story is still fishy af. We'll probably never find out though cuz they don't want to look bad and admit to anything or go back on what they said.
Don’t worry about updates on this anymore. If they’re hiding their faces when the mom made it public, there will be no solution and this will just be a continuous social media stunt. You have better things to do Jay!
I think Royal was not paid for the cruise at the time of booking. The travel agent made an error or the credit card didn’t go through right away. While the couple was at the ship the travel agency paid for the trip but the room had already been re-sold. That Amex story doesn’t make sense
Everything is irrelevant except the fact they didn’t get their money back.If you were denied boarding everything seemed to be in order(were they not offered another cruise?), they should be refunded
She said a couple of times that they were offered another cruise but she said why should they take that when they were denied this one. She said she just wanted her money back because she wasn’t sailing with them again.
Refunds only occur when the cruise line makes an error or if your insurance company pays out for you (and even that isn’t a refund from the cruise line, it’s a reimbursement from the insurance company). If they offered a future cruise credit then it means the passengers did something. But the cruise line is trying to keep a customer, so they offer a future cruise. They often do that. But they don’t give back money for errors a passenger makes.
The couple wanted a free cruise so they disputed the charges claiming someone use their card but it backfired on them. Amex investigated and told them they were the one's who charge it. The couple didn't want to pay for the charges on their card and pretended someone else use the card
People do try other cruise lines. However, it could be a do not sail list. If it is the do not sail list, it would be either a case of mistaken identity, or it could be someone who cruised under one of their names before (perhaps an identity theft of someone else using her ticket), or it could be they cruised on another RCL one like Celebrity.
I agree that it *could* be a case of mistaken identity, in theory. But if it were, the cruise line would have gone above and beyond to compensate. I guarantee it. Just look at how cruise lines compensate other people wrongly denied boarding. They want those issues to disappear. The cruise line is being mum on this, which makes me suspect the kids know what’s going on and it isn’t royal’s fault.
My ex-husband and I were at Niagara Falls, and we tried to go from the New York side to the Canadian side ,but after they did background checks ✔️ we were both sent away and they told him not to try again.
The answer is!: She had a few CBD gummies, (that alerted the dogs), which is a prohibited item on their list. Even if the gummies were removed from her bag that wasn't going to matter, she still could not go.
Blah blah blah I still don’t believe none of what they’re saying you can’t even understand what they’re saying, to be honest. I mean, it makes no sense they don’t even want to show who they are. That’s just silly to me. Somethings not right.
Okay, after I heard the initial story and then the first update my first thought that these events may have to do with them being an interracial couple before she showed them.
Maybe it’s those three inch nails , they were scared of them being used as a weapon. Something is not being shared here. I change lines according to the deal I’m offered. I’ve done carnival, celebrity and ncl . Also looking into several European lines as well for next year. I go for the best deal because most lines are the same in most respects.
Our story was even worse but it was with a different line not RC and we are yacht club members so i do beleive this mom because we were also denied in a very mysterious way until the ccaptain himself intervened and approved our sail (they kept us in a room 4 hours+)
I’ve never cruised through a online 3rd party cruise company only directly through the Cruiselines and never had any issues on boarding. I think they may had their names on a “ banned “ list due to someone else had the same name and it was a big mistake of identity. Hopefully this will be all straightened out.
My concern is at the beginning of the story she said that she had a chargeback happen when she went on a Carnival Cruise using the same AMEX card. If she knew that this had happened before why wouldn't she take caution to double-check that the same situation would not have happened again. There is still so much to this story.
The mother stated she edited what she posted meaning she cut out information. Also they hid them and their identities so is there more there? Seems like there is a lot more to this and they do not appear credible. Thanks J. Appreciate the videos.
Jay, by any chance is the family's name Kardashian? Sure seems like the mother is using the kids for her 30, now 45 minutes of fame. And my bulls**t meter is off the charts. RCCL can offer the cabins that are not filled after departure to people that ask at guest services, so it does not have to be an overbooking situation
Yes, please do update again if you find out what happened. I don't go on cruises, but do travel some. And about half the time, I'm traveling alone. It's always good to know what issues to watch out for when traveling.
Yes the story is confusing to me and Royal Caribbean is a cruise line that would take care of cruisers in a diplomatic way so hope this problem is solved soon and we all get the answers.

That mom is wayyyy too involved in the life of her kid.
Never ever had a problem with Royal. If they had sailed with other ships. They should have known to have a carry on with money and meds.
2 things are clear.
1: Saying that RCCL won't/can't tell them why they were refused boarding is ridiculous. Of course they were told, and of course everyone knows why.
2: 100% guaranteed it's the fault of the person who actually booked the cruise. She just doesn't want to admit it.
I've been a therapist for almost 30 yrs. If it doesn't make sense...it's not true.
Airlines overbook all the time and innocent people kicked off planes so late comers can have their seats......or some VIP has turned up. I've seen it again and again. Don't tell me it doesn't happen with cruise lines.
Judge Judy’s favorite statement!
I’m curious. Did it ruin the rest of your stay or were you able to enjoy your trip?
Yes but this is 2023 and you can see on your phone if something has been reversed or denied. She most likely has a history of fraudulent charge backs and the cruise recognized her pattern and gave them the boot. When you dispute a charge, the merchant usually loses
Anything is possible, but I use AMEX and never had a problem. But again... anything is possible.
She certainly does seem to enjoy her time in the limelight. Not the usual response from a mom distressed about the things that “happened” to her son.
She's actively being a lawyer for her kids. There's definitely more to the story that she is leaving out intentionally.

Yep or she knows and thinks by showing it all on social media they think they will change there mind and get a refund
We are talking about travel agents here, not the same at all as 3rd party hotel bookings
@@danasandoval624When you had to cancel, did they refund you?
I agree with you Jay, there HAS to be more to this story, why would they get denied sailing, but then given no reason, it makes no sense
I think they were given a reason. I think they're not telling us the reason and they may not even have told the mom the real reason.

This isn’t a cross examination on the stand. The mom is asking questions to figure out the details.
@@JuileJay My observation was only in the lack of objective, open-ended questions, as opposed to her almost multiple sentenced lead-ins she used to have them follow along.
That tactic reduces the sense of her legitimacy.

A LOT is missing !! The whole story is fishy !!
Let's go on with something else...a waste of time here..
This happened to my daughter, with a hotel.
Using a 3rd party site
The hotel overbooked
And they did not honor the 3rd party guest.
I’ve experienced it before in the past
Third Party Website ≠ Travel Agent and that Helicopter-mom-agent doesn’t understand the difference.
Thanks for the update, Jay. The people involved don’t seem to be giving us much information. Keep the updates coming!
Yup. This is probably not an additional guest in that room but someone from a lesser cabin.
I’ve been following this story all week and I still have no idea why they couldn’t sail. I still feel like there’s something crucial being left out of the story. They either need to tell the whole thing or drop it.
My guess is long nails is on a no fly/sail list, or the CC charges got rejected, they sound like 2 well only one talking scamers .

It makes no difference if you assisted thousands of customers it is the one you failed that you hear about.
This is always why you check and go to the cruise lines website a day or two before you cruise and make sure everything is done. Bypass the travel agency and make sure everything's okay with the cruise line. Could have saved him a lot of trouble
Exactly!
Exactly. We just sailed Carnival Celebration and changes were made to our embarkation times due to an emergency that occurred on the prior weeks sailing. Our embarkation was delayed but I was checking my booking info up until our embarkation time.
@@Lisare42 We always do that too. That way no bad surprises.
If they had boarding passes, then they checked in successfully. Something else was wrong and it was likely a personal vs reservation issue.
My major concern is the "chargeback". It has to be initiated by the card owner because fraud is flagged differently on credit cards.
I was thinking the same thing. I work in a bank and we have people who try to charge back things just to get the money back. I wonder if they could have been flagged for something of that nature happening with other cruise lines in the past.
What’s a chargeback?

If the kids were on some sort of "no sail" list from another cruise line... maybe that's why someone thought they had sailed with Royal previously. They just assumed because there was a report on them, that it must have been from a previous Royal sailing. It's also a little strange that they had the same exact issue with Carnival.

At the first video the mother first said € 4100 and later it was € 1400???
One of the things I found interesting information is that the cabin they booked had different passengers in it. Ummmm...sounds like that is why they could not board - because the cruise line cancelled their reservation because of a drink package payment issue and had already put someone else in that cabin. I think the TA dropped the ball as well.
Exactly! The cruise line cancelled their booking because of their chargeback!
Yes. Weren't they going for a birthday celebration. Maybe the drink package was ordered before she turned 21?? Just a thought. Or they overbooked the cruise and someone else got their cabin first? Or a mistaken identity problem?
No any unoccupied rooms are given to other customers willing to pay for an upgrade. It’s called “Royal up”
You don't know that!
I love your videos and you can talk as long as you want. We like them to be longer!!! Thanks

Thanks for coming back with another update. I agree and I said the same in my last post on your channel there is something missing. The loyalty thing isn’t always true, I like to travel different cruise lines for different reasons but I do feel like something is being left out

🔴 something that you mentioned on your last video that you did not mention on this video is that the other couple that was sailing with this couple saw other people occupying the room that this couple were supposed to be in so let’s not forget overbooking as a possibility.
But did they have the correct room?
If they have no shows, then people can upgrade. That’s a possibility
@@jamiemorton1594 this is all very strange.
And cruise lines don’t overbook and then wait to tell people when they are at the port with nowhere else to sleep that night 😂
You clearly didn’t understand the point he was making
Thank you Jay. I listened to this video twice and I still don't understand what is going on. A cruise line doesn't deny passage for no reason. Something her just doesn't gel. Keep us posted. I kinds wish we could see their faces. A picture does paint a thousand words.
Yes they do
@@lenvella9541yes they do what?
Agencies aren’t
supposed to use their agency card and get reimbursed by the cruise line.
@@rugdg1313it likely went to their third party travel agent.
How did she have cash to pay for anything when she initially said she left all of her money and medication in a luggage that was left on the ship?????
I agree that it was the unintentional unpaid drink package issue.
Jay, thanks for keeping us updated. You be on it!😊😊😊
The chargeback was glossed over and needed much more depth.
Seriously? That is crazy. I can't imagine spending $105 in a week, let alone in a day.
Good point there is still something not adding up
Mommy needs to back off….
@@cakienudge The deluxe package can be up to that much a day. Sometimes you can get a better deal. It does include non-alcoholic beverages also, which can really add up on a cruise ship fast.

Yes, I’d like to know!
Yea. I want to know too. I don't do tik tok either. Something isn't right.

The travel agent should have known about the age restrictions
That's a good reason
My son and his girlfriend booked a cruise. Carnival called them and explained that they were under 25 and weren’t married and couldn’t sail alone. I had to book a room and go on the cruise because they had to link their room to mine.
@@yikesyikes5974 Yes, on day two of calling that was explained. There was a system error thay allowed my agent to book and confirm the reservation. My agent and Carnival apologized, because no one reached out to either of us. Is reservation was just canceled. In the end Carnival did right by us.

Her daughter can open her amex account online and show her she didnt do a chargeback if that is true
Charge back is not a fraud freeze it is a disputed transaction that customer got money back for
She mentioned a charge back for the drink package.
The list is real in 2017 I went on a cruise with my coworker and she had ran up charges on Carnival however she kept ignoring letter placed on the door so when we disembarked alarms went off and set city took her to guest service they told me I could go ahead they gave her a letter with all her charges and told her she had two week to pay the balance fast forward she tried to go on another cruise line and was denied boarding that experience I travel solo now
This would explain why they only received 250 back.
@@pappawof4393really lol she still has no clue why “the kids” got denied that makes no sense it’s been 3 weeks you are so gullible smh
Successfully taking a cruise may be too complicated for some people.
Someone's definitely hiding some details about this, whether it be the young couple or Royal Caribbean.
Guessing it is Royal considering somebody else was already booked in that cabin.
@@michelleschifko5969 not necessarily. The occupants of that cabin could’ve gotten a Royal up offer. Lots of holes in this tale.
@@michelleschifko5969what kinds of details would Royal be hiding?
@jahbern They, at times, have had issues with overbooking cabins.
After seeing your videos so far on this story, I think people will want to see the final outcome of it. Thanks.
I feel like there’s something they don’t want the MOM to know, so that’s why the story is being told in this manner, with this blank spot that we all see in the middle of this story. 😅
Could be the credit card they were using for incidentals came up as fraud. Seems odd the same thing happened on Carnival and Royal Caribbean.
I was thinking the same thing. Perhaps they are doing charge backs and have always gotten away with it but their luck finally ran out
An American Express Gold card requires excellent credit. Not the type of card you expect a 31 year old to qualify for.
I said the same. She's way young to have Amex.
@@anamarianunez1563 I have an American Express Platinum with 805 credit score and I’m only 26
I’ve been on 3 cruises each with a different company. So I wouldn’t be so quick to use the logic of “why would they change their loyalty, unless if something fishy happened”. I think more and more people are realizing that the loyalty perks are t that great unless you’re cruising a hell of a lot. Like more than once a year (which isn’t the case for the average joe)
Imagine having this woman as your mother in-law…
Two thoughts:
She basically left out like the most important parts in the story, which made her situation even worse.
What things?
What part was that ?
The fact that dude is so quiet and doesn’t want his face to be seen leads me to believe he knows it was their issue but doesn’t have the heart or balls to tell them
Bingo.
Agreed. By nature it would be more likely for the son to be talking to the mother than the girlfriend yet she’s the one doing all the talking. I’m suspecting the young man is not really the woman’s son and there’s another agenda. Don’t know what it would be tho.
Who leaves cash in their luggage?
@@snaggledaggle7027 that’s another angle. You are only allowed to take so much cash out of the country. Maybe they were over the limit and it flagged something.
This lady is like the videos that say "like for part 2"😉 but her's are part 1-7. If it doesn't make dollars it doesn't make sense. I guess she's TikTok famous now🤷. Thanks J for keeping us in the loop 👍🥰
Still clear as mud😮
There's another update. Apparently they got a full refund now. The mom said she was not booked on the room and didn't go, but she didn't say their ages. I still say it's something they did and don't want to admit it, either they don't want to tell the mom or the mom doesn't want to put it online cuz this story is still fishy af. We'll probably never find out though cuz they don't want to look bad and admit to anything or go back on what they said.
Don’t worry about updates on this anymore. If they’re hiding their faces when the mom made it public, there will be no solution and this will just be a continuous social media stunt. You have better things to do Jay!
Hiding your faces is like “What are you hiding from “
I think Royal was not paid for the cruise at the time of booking.
You have to tell us what the reason was, we dont need to see the Mom again.
The answer is!:
She had a few CBD gummies, (that alerted the dogs), which is a prohibited item on their list. Even if the gummies were removed from her bag that wasn't going to matter, she still could not go.
Where did you come up with that?
@@JaredConnell Are you talking to me? Come up with what?

What you just said was rude! I never just 'come up' with things!@@JaredConnell
@@jayteadesigns where did you find this out though? you gotta back this up with proof of a source
Blah blah blah I still don’t believe none of what they’re saying you can’t even understand what they’re saying, to be honest. I mean, it makes no sense they don’t even want to show who they are. That’s just silly to me. Somethings not right.
Shiplife I agree with you on that.
Just when you didn't think this story couldn't get any stranger...
