I would have liked to see Ra’s Alghul, clay face, I think penguin would make an interesting character with his umbrella tricks and also Etrigan the demon and maybe Vandal Savage or the witch boy and beast boy and plastic man so many interesting characters that could be in injustice 3
Hayetei pressure with robin could improve alot. After the elusive swoop (db3) on hit he is +15. He could go into a free 212 into blue trait or into another db3 to mix up. He could also do f2d3 (the overhead low) to see if it catches your opponent and possibly start a new combo. He keeps d3 when there was more damage potential on the table. His whiff punishes and conversions are outstanding tho
I don't think its that people aren't blocking it or whatever, but most people try to walk backwards after eating swoop on hit to get out of pressure and get caught by the sweep.
If anyone was wondering, my mains in MKX were Kitana, Kano, Liu Kang, Johnny Cage, Tanya, and Sub-Zero in that order. My MK9 mains were Kitana, Sub-Zero, Smoke, Kung Lao, Liu Kang, and Johnny Cage in that order. Injustice 1 was Superman, Wonder Woman, Black Adam, Aquaman, Cyborg, Raven. Injustice 2 mains are Superman, Wonder Woman, Cyborg, Black Adam, Aquaman, and Cheetah.
Overall subzero is a tricky character to play against, especially when you're playing with a pressuring character. Sub zero's ice clone is a great counter to any character applying pressure as it gives sub zero breathing room. So it's a bit sympathetic for me that he couldn't close the match. It's like this if you have a good flash player going against a decent to good captain cold, chances are that captain cold is gonna win most of the time because of his counter playstyle to pressure.

Pickle Juice Dan Sub-Zero's Ice Klone is an awful counter to pressure characters. Pressure characters usually have common weaknesses like Risk, Gaps, and inadequate spacing. Sub-Zero's Klone can't punish gaps like it could in MKX, because of its fizzle mechanic that makes it disappear if the opponent is anywhere near its hitbox when it is summoned. Robin isn't primarily a presure character anyways. He has better footsies than he does pressure strings (all of which have tremendous gaps in them and all require use of his trait, limiting its other purposes). Robin wins this matchup because his B2 (Not entirely sure of the input) stuffs Sub-Zero's F22~Klone string, preveting Sub-Zero from any kind of mediocre follow up pressure he doesnt have (Sub is a shitty character). Robin also has zoning advantage over Sub-Zero with Blue/Red Birdarang and that same B2 normal and the Smart Birdarang. Sub-Zero is just a failed character in this game, in all homesty.
Nick Chambers not true at all sub has an amazing jump 2 that can be abused for a vortex that leads into a pseudo 50/50 that can also be option selected into a stuff if the opponent decides to challenge the 50/50 also his back 2 is +5 n no one uses it he has a lot of tech that’s not being used to it’s full potential if people reset instead of go for damage all the time you would see way more value in him
