This game showed so much growth in our players. Dionte, Muth, and ray-ray all came up huge in that final drive and Najee with the run to seal it. As a Steeler's fan, having the Jaguars helping us get into the Playoffs instead of beating us in it was a welcome gift. Seeing the Colts lose for us to go further has a taste of Ben's first Superbowl run. How fitting would it be for the Steelers to return to arrowhead stadium and with a revengeful rage beat the team that had crushed us a couple of weeks ago? It would be so sweet to then see Ben meet the Patriots and watch our defense decimate their new quarterback. An upset with the LVR vs the Titans would leave us meeting the Raiders in the AFC Championship game. One final blow of vengeance against a team that has had our number almost every time they play, would be a sweet revenge, with idealistically meeting another old time nemesis in the Superbowl would make for one of the highest rated, and most watched Superbowls in decades. The Pittsburgh Steelers versus the Dallas Cowboys. I have spoke it into existence. Let the cardinals fall where they may. You know that line from the movie Signs? “It felt wrong not to swing.” That sums up Big Ben. He swings. Sometimes to his/the team’s detriment. But he swings. Sometimes it’s the wrong decision, but his decision is always to “go for it.” I admire that. Definitely top 20 QB of all time. Maybe a stretch to call him top 10 all time. Almost definitely not top 5 all time. But he will swing. And he will not shy away from the moment. Love that about him.
