Everyone needs to make money, of course. However, the best time to BUY here in San Diego is still at least a year away. Home prices have started to cool and so have sales. This is great to re-balance the economy and inflated numbers. Nice houses though! 😃
You have to realize that the slightly older generation in their 40s-50s have been in careers or had their businesses for several years and are making decent money. Many SW engineers, nurses and even tenured teachers for example are making well over $120K especially in SoCal. A lot of these folks are married with a high dual income and purchased homes 10-20+ years ago so they’ve got plenty of cash coming in and tons of equity to put down on these homes.
@@JCizzleSoCal I'm a first time home buyer, my wife and I bought our first home in 2022 under 5% interest rate. Due to the fact that I served for a some yrs and I'm also disabled, is what really helped me out or us to acquire the home. My wife is in the medical field and I am a government worker at the current time we barely make over six figures. It's sad to say that every little bit counts in today climate. The unfortunate part is many homes are out of reach for most home buyers. We were VERY fortunate and blessed to get something before things became worse.
Rooms are so small, the layout is not ideal, spacing and storage are key! Lastly the carpet looks cheap. Thank you for the showing! Great location, but the rooms and layout for the rooms and downstairs are cramped.
It’s a no brainer since the East Coast has to deal with the annual freezing temperatures and snow, extreme heat and humidity, etc. San Diego and most of So Cal doesn’t have to deal with that nonsense.
@@JCizzleSoCal I hope biscuit replies too because I genuinely want to know what he thinks is better about East Coast construction, not just some general proclamation.
100% NOT WORTH IT !!! the APR is between 6-9% so you’ll be paying 5-8Gs or more a month. Plus a down payment to lower it to 2-3 grand for a mortgage is nearly impossible for the average american…People can’t afford a “in the low 1 millions” home….

Brand new construction = cheapest materials, poor craftsmanship, awkward floor plans, no real outdoor space.
They don’t make em like they used to.
Prices are not bad , is home insurance crazy expensive ?
Starting at 1 Mil, Jesus wonder which investment firm will be picking this up.

Absolutely not worth it. The finishes are poor, the closets look terrible, the bathrooms are low end Home Depot quality.
Not sure if investing in California homes is such a good idea at these prices, interest rates and most of all taxes.

It’s not for everyone! Thanks for the feedback 👍🏼
east coast houses are way better built. the houses here are dumps.
I've never lived on the east coast. How are those homes built better?

East Coast has to deal with weather from God trying to kill them all . Rain , Thunder , heat , insects , lightning .
