Matt, I love these types of videos. These monologues make people think to a level that they otherwise won't if it was in a debate structure. I prefer to hear the reasoning behind the statements and you do that so well in here.
This same example was brought up in the movie Contact (But with aliens). The scientist woman had to admit that her belief in her reported experience is not enough to be classed as true for everyone else, thus she agreed the chance she merely imagined everything was more likely true than her reported experience. There also was the plans for the machine (the two that were built), the initial message from Vega - Carl Sagan and Ann Druyan pose interesting questions about faith and science in their book the movie was based on - there’s a thread in the movie that suggests not an either/or, but a both/and

@Magical Chemical Daddy Not everyone has a god. Not everyone is as weak minded as you display yourself to be. Maybe stop thinking everyone is like you. And maybe stop thinking you're right, when you can't demonstrate what you claim. Just some tips I'm sure you'll completely ignore.
@Magical Chemical DaddyThe most adorable thing about you, is that you clearly don't know anything about anything, yet you claim to know things that someone literally can't know. @Magical Chemical Daddy That could apply equally to three gods, or five, or twelve, however, with equal logic. Also, who is this 'god of this world' who wasn't MEANT to be god of this world, but would inevitably become god of this world, because the mere two humans who stewarded this world, didn't know he existed? Or was once a mad, delusional angel (possibly ill made, perhaps) who was able to conceive of dissatisfaction, envy and suicidal pride, in a perfect realm, lead a mass revolt of other angels, and keep powers, impressively, after this - and then get exiled in reach of the one world he'd most wish to harm, still keeping those powers... And to top it all off, can even revisit the initial perfect realm if he has a key point to make on, say, Job's loyalty, to the being he most hated and wanted to overthrow? Who actually listens to him, curiously enough. More so maybe than to many victims of past wars, pogroms, slavery and an Inquisition, or even those asking if they were a good idea or not... who often couldn't read the original text, in their own language... Hope that's a bit clearer now, anyway. Even - self evident. Unlike Romans 1:20, it seems. Especially for one third of all angels.
It's an even more difficult case than Matt makes it out to be. If, for some legitimate reason, he is convinced of some proposition, but he can't demonstrate it to anyone else, well that's a pretty unfortunate setup. We can acknowledge that much without further analysis. But, realistically, what in nature could possibly qualify as something so rare that it is in fact singular? Most natural events occur far more than once, and so we usually require, before we declare a phenomenon to have occurred, that MANY people see it, and moreover that people can EXPECT to see it under suitable conditions. It's not conceptually impossible that an event should occur only once in the lifetime of the universe. It's not impossible that an even should only ever be observed once. But such events cannot be investigated or verified. From a practical standpoint, it's as if they don't exist.
Technically, every single experience, event, thought and action is unique since each occupies its own spot/point in space time. Thus it's unrepeatable by definition. Or the exact opposite of what I just said is true somewhere exactly at the same time. Infinity might be a little bigger than you're imagining.

It's rewarding who seeks him, but only after you've already reached a conclusion _that_ he exists _before_ you go looking. Maybe you're thinking of another verse. Psalms usually twists things around so I would guess it's in there somewhere or in revelations. My response is the same: Have you read the rest of the verse? I've come up with an analogy for the concept of the Christian God (or any god really). It's like a child never meeting their parent, but when they are older they meet someone who claims to know this parent and even talks to them regularly. The parent wishes for their child to believe in them, without seeing them or having any evidence, or else the child will be killed one day. The child must also follow a specific set of rules for their life. They won't even get any confirmation for their belief, they will merely need to trust that this parent is out there somewhere and that this will prevent this supposed punishment from taking place and that one day they will be reunited and live happily ever after. What kind of parent would do this? Who in their right mind would expect the child in this situation to follow the path laid out before them? And yet, this is exactly what is happening in Christianity.

Why 2? Cant a god have 1 parent that created it? Or split in two? Why assume you need to mix two sets of genes like we organisms do? We should ask the bigger questions: What is outside the simulation?
Easy answer. Still wouldn't bow down to it. All beings deserve respect and autonomy. If that respect is not granted as an equal - I will not respect that being.
Justice demands that equal things be treated equally and unequal things be treated unequally. I wouldn’t treat a paper I scribbled on the same way I would treat a painting by Monet. @@afham5510 Justice demands no such thing. Justice demands that I stop at a red stop light just like everyone else. Justice sees no hierarchy... true justice that is. If I am a being, it comes automatically with certain unalienable rights. The highest of those rights is self-ownership. If I choose not to love someone, for example, That choice MUST be respected by all.. If I choose not to love a being who claims to be some God - that must be respected - because you too would understand the justice of that respect should you be caught in that same choice dynamic. Any being that demands my respect or attention or allegiance or love is worthy of none of it. Should I come across some being that appears to be very powerful and it claims to be "God" - well the rest is all uphill from there. I have nothing but questions: "How do you know that you are God?" "Do you exist? God may answer, "Yes"... then I respond, "Well then... you admit that the conditions exist that makes you possible?" God would have to say, "Yes"... THEN HOW DO YOU KNOW THAT THERE AREN'T INFINITE BEINGS JUST LIKE YOURSELF OR GREATER? No being - no matter how great they claim to be - could know such a thing.... Ergo - IT must respect my autonomy, or it is a tyrant... a liar... a dictator - unworthy of even my friendship. If "God" existed - it would be only an alien - not "Almighty" because there can rationally be NO "all" because of the potential for "other".
@@postmodern9208 I think it’s interesting that you say you have inalienable rights, semi-quoting the Declaration of Independence. What/who gives you these rights? My point was not that respect and autonomy isn’t deserved at all. My point was to ask why someone greater than ourselves should treat us as equals? The President has no obligation to treat us with any kind of respect, nor do I think he would. It’s interesting that nobody demands the president do anything for themselves specifically but the creator of the universe better do X or Y and he has some explaining to do… God definitely doesn’t have to and railing against Him would be more futile than trying to destroy the sun. Though I will say, Christianity gives you exactly what you are asking. It is Christianity that says God condescended to take the form of a man and dwell among us. Suffering with us in order to reconcile ourselves to Him. Repair that relationship and adopt us into his family as brothers and sisters. At the end, the Bible says, he’ll give everyone who rejected him the respect and autonomy they asked for by keeping them out of his presence. What you’re asking for is exactly what a Christian conception of God provides. So I’ll just recap by asking, where do our inalienable rights come from? Why should someone so powerful, granting the traditional attributes of God, treat us peons like equals?
It says we have UNalienable rights. Obviously we get these rights because the Founding Fathers got on their knees and prayed and GOD told them to put that into the Constitution. lol. OBVIOUSLY what gives us these rights is reason... and reason alone. The very same reason that governs jurisprudence. A judge uses reason to determine whether or not something is fair... or unalienable... or just. You quip: "My point was to ask why someone greater than ourselves should treat us as equals?" No two people are equal - for sure. This is the very reason for my moral demands. Why is it that we do not - say, let college graduates move to the front of the grocery store line? or - let people who are over 6' tall get free gas for their vehicles? They are clearly superior. But not quite. We base our essential value judgments - and rightly so - not on who has the greater advantage.. or who is stronger or smarter. Of course, advantages come to many, who, have these things, that otherwise would not come to those who do not. But we look at humans as endowed with certain unalienable rights because they are human.. not because they are gods... or because they earned it somehow. Within this locus of moral ideology lies an unalienable truth: People deserve rights because everyone is a 'people'. Now, there exist no inviolable rights, as in the case of abortion where the mother's right to her own privacy supersedes the fetuses right to continue to use her body to live... besides, "people" is a legal term. Here is the philosophical moorings for this ideal: "I perceive that I exist" -
@@postmodern9208 without a grounding for human worth or value outside of our own selves we are left with no objective reason to value anyone. The Judeo-Christian worldview, which says humans are made in the image of God is what gave our founding fathers the idea that all men have UNalienable (😉) rights. Fun fact, of the 55 founding fathers (the ones who signed the Declaration of Independence) 51 were main line denominational Christians, one unknown and 3 deists - of which was Ben Franklin. So, yeah… actually. 93% of the framers of our nation were Christians in their worldview. So, yes… God told them. Lastly, I’ll leave you with this bit. If you take nothing away from our conversation, please take this… Solipsism corrodes any logic or evidence that would support the reality of experience. If our experiences are artificial, imaginary, or false, then any experience that might lead us to believe in solipsism could be part of the illusion and therefore unreliable. At the same time, any experience that might lead us to doubt solipsism could be dismissed for the same reason. As a result, solipsism is neither proved nor contradicted by any possible experience-which means that solipsism as a philosophy is practically meaningless. The idea is both un-falsifiable and un-verifiable. True or false, we can’t know it or disprove it, and so we can’t make any meaningful decisions about it. This is one reason that solipsism, and arguments that imply it, are generally considered dead ends in philosophical discussions. That is, introducing solipsism makes the conversation pointless. As soon as one argues that our experiences-on a fundamental level-are unreliable, we’re left incapable of knowing anything. That’s not only contrary to how we experience life, it makes all reason and experience useless.
I like the comparison of a religious experience to a person who claims to have been abducted by aliens. I like what you had to say: you can acknowledge that they had an experience and that they were giving you the best explanation of that experience that they can. But you do not have to believe it or say what happened to them really happened. I got a lot out of this video.
What would convince me a god exists is real simple. Give me Moses' staff. Give me a stick that can transform back and forth between an inanimate staff and a living serpent that I can demonstrate and test in a lab. That'd do it for me. I'd go, "Yep, I was wrong. A powerful supernatural force that defies the known rules of the universe exists. And I'm fine calling it a god." Of course there's a lot of work to do after that to learn more.
There's a huge problem with that. In order to explain what would convince you of God's existence, you must first know everything. Why? Because if you didn't know everything, then there may be an explanation for what you're experiencing that has nothing to do with God. Maybe there is no alternate explanation and it really is God, but you wouldn't know that unless you had absolute knowledge of reality. This is why Matt says "I wouldn't know what would convince me", because he understands this problem.
@@williamhorn411 While you are not wrong about it not giving full knowledge, becoming convinced isn't about absolute certainty. This is about where my personal limit of conviction lies. Matt does not know where his threshold lies, but believes god would know. I know getting Moses' staff is above my threshold for conviction. That said, I did say it would be the start of a lot of work for me. As you rightly point out, getting over that threshold does not mean I now have full understand and knowledge. Far from. It would be idiotic not to research further. All I know so far is that there is a force that can turn an inanimate dead object into a living animal. Or at least, do so convincingly enough to convince myself and others. That is enough for me to declare a greater power exists. But it still leaves tons of unknowns I would be interested in uncovering. For it still tells us little about this power. I still can't go "The staff is true, so all of the Bible/Koran/Book of Mormon is correct". But, it definitely would get me reading those books and researching their practices to see what clues they might offer. But yeah, I do not require full knowledge of something to be convinced of something. I hold a lot of convictions based on what I consider sufficient evidence, rather than absolute knowledge.
@@williamhorn411 So in the same way that means every anti-theist would be foolish as they deny God with limited knowledge. Until someone has ultimate knowledge of the universe, how could they deny or close their mind to such a possibility?
@@JesusSavesSouls In your reply to William Horn about full knowledge: This is exactly why I argued against him that ultimate knowledge isn’t required to be convinced of something. I disagree you need ultimate knowledge of everything to be allowed to make definite statements. This may be true for science. Science is careful that way. The scientific method doesn’t rule things out. It just states what the available evidence suggests. I agree with you that science can never rule out a god completely. However, that doesn’t mean that we as people can’t hold convictions based on what is likely true. I’m sure even you will admit to doing so. After all, you believe in a god, even though you can’t disprove the tiny chance that aliens set up all the evidence that made you reach that faith. Or that you’re living in a Truman Show situation where the world is set up to make you believe certain things for study. Or that you’re in a computer simulation. More to the point though, I don’t think there are many anti-theists that would immediately declare all things you could possibly call a god not to exist. Most would ask you for your definition of god. And then weigh the knowledge they do have, to see if they reject the idea of that god. And if they are calling themselves an anti-theist, they are probably a person that rejects many of the common god beliefs, based on their knowledge and insights. Such as feeling a certain god description, doctrine or holy book conflicts with reality, history or logical consistency. Is this not reasonable to do? To draw conclusions about reality, when you believe you have sufficient evidence to reject the option presented? Yes, you may be wrong to do so. But we do it all the time. Like, you would not believe me if I told you I trapped Bigfoot in my garage. It does not align with what you know to be likely in reality. You draw that conclusion without full knowledge. To say you can’t reject god without full knowledge of everything, seems an unreasonable claim. I don’t think it’s possible to hold everything to that standard.
If God reveals himself to you, does that mean that you'll have to change your name? PqrS = JklM Saul to Paul Matt to Jatt? Hmmm, I think we need to think about this one. 🤔 Thanks Matt! You rock! 👍😎🤗🖖
“ why is it the case that there are people running around declaring that God has revealed itself to them and that it’s obvious?” Because they are believers who fear the value of facts
But we need to be careful to assume too much. People could be looking at beautiful but mundain things (landscapesl - or life changing events (emotional moments). It could also feel part of their identity. From a small child to have their religion drilled into them... And people sometimes tend to split their life in parts. Be a scientist or journalist and going after hard facts - meanwhile sing every sunday in church. Just saying we should be careful to assume when in conversation.
I had a religious experience once. I was literally on the other side of 0, in like a negaverse of sorts. I could see my body on the other side, and I felt something with me in this strange dark place. But then eventually the shrooms wore off.
You'll probably never read this, Matt. However, I'll type anyway. I discovered you about five years ago while researching my religious beliefs, Mormonism. Believing it to be the One True Church fell away pretty fast. But god? That was another step. I decided to listen to the atheist side. I was so ready to hate you, Richard Dawkins, Aaron Ra, the whole bunch. But I was wrong. What I found was honesty, and a real search for truth. From the bottom of my cold, dark atheist heart, thank you.
I actually think he must skim over all his comments; I think he usually only responds to religious people who disagree with him though. I say this because the only to response I saw him give in this forum were from two people (one of which is me) who disagreed with him. A few days ago I posted a comment disagreeing with him, and he responded within the same day. I'm not sure whether I should feel honored or insulted.
Dillahunty, you're leaving out the option that God may reveal Himself to you in a way you can to prove other people... but they just don't want to believe it. It's more common that you may be thinking 😅
My comments are being deleted. This is why we need better social media platforms, because that's wrong to control someone else trying to bring value to the community. But I did save the content to open office, so nothing was lost, except I can't paste it to the community to actually give value..
That's good point, my God Says am closer to your jugular vein, what else you want? But simultaneously He tells not to scold someone who cannot grasp this sincerely, just try to convince. You cannot find God from Higgs Boson to the universe, from DNA to human brain? Even Stephen Hawking said " we have one life to appreciate the great Design of the universe (Design without Designer???)
My idea of a revelation of /from 'God' is simply someone becoming self aware. People just have different cultural models to 'worship' through. Some go religion, some go science, some go individualist, etc. But something happens to a person to unite themselves with their own being amd the universe around them. Completely unique experience to each of us.
But the people that go to religion have to pretend a number of things exist and have existed for their dream to be true in their head, bypassing reality.
Even if it played favorites and DIDN'T judge, it would still be a dick move. By playing favorites, it has proven to some people throughout history that it is real and didn't do anything to stop the ensuing chaos caused by those chosen.
No religion asks you to surrender to god, the religious earthly representative asks you to surrender to those who claims they represent god. This leaves you open to abuse.
The best miracle God could do to reveal himself to multiple witnesses is not to part a sea or walk on water, it would be to resolve some significant scientific unknown at the time of revelation: for example if he showed up today and resolved the measurements of the Fermilab Muon g2 experiment, explained the source of dark matter or how the universe inflates if it does not exist, or delivered a model of quantum gravity.
a) And the deity in question did this _how_ exactly? Seriously. What are they proposing IS this revelation? Would they sputter and evade specifying? b) How would I know that 1) that actually happened; and 2) whatever it was could be achieved by only one thing. A "god."
Matt, what do you think of Howard Storm's Near Death Experience? He claims God revealed himself to him. I'm curious to hear your take on NDE's, from an atheist's perspective.
Years ago, the question of the existence of god stopped mattering to me. I have decided that even if one exists, it doesn’t deserve my worship. That it doesn’t deserve my bent knee is the overriding concept. So, I could denounce my atheist position and not skip a beat in my life. The god of the Bible? Torah? Quran? Forget it. I would give it a chance to convince me it deserved some reverence…some explanation for the allowance of suffering and evil in the world. But, it just doesn’t look good for such a being.
Yeah I know, it's only when you actually read the bible you will stop believing. Or more likely in your case, bury yourself under another mountain of apologetics and lies.
The answer to "What will change your mind about god's existence?" is "Evidence." Then the debate moves on to ""Should I worship the god that approves of slavery as seen in Exodus 21?" and that answer is "No!"
Exodus 21.5 - 6 - "And if the servant shall plainly say, *_I love my master,_* my wife, and my children; I will not go out free: Then his master shall bring him unto the judges; he shall also bring him to the door, or unto the door post; and his master shall bore his ear through with an aul; and he shall serve him forever." Yeah it’s hard to believe when god only reveals himself to individual people at a time…. In dreams or in hallucinations… it’s very heard to believe he exists
Acknowledging god's existence is not equal to worshipping him. Satan KNOWS god exists but still isnt kissing god's ass. So just because god reveals himself to atheists doesnt mean he removes our freewill. We will ACKNOWLEDGE his existence, but most likely will not bow down and lick his boots. ... ... So what's stopping him from revealing himself to atheists? Iron chariots?
You are very close to the correct beleif about the reality of the world. You description of how God seems to hide from people is very honest. You state that you would want God to reveal Himself to all people or else you would not respect him. God did reveal Himself to the world publicly thousands of years ago. God is present to all people even if all people cannot sense Him. You present very logical arguments. You are very fair in your idea that you would tell other people about your personal experience with God if you had one. God does seem to play favorites with the ones that He reveals Himself to, but why? The people that God revealed Himself to had faith in His words from the Bible. I just wanted to say that I feel all alone in the world because God has revealed Himself to me and I tell people and they don't seem to care at all. My prayers are answered constantly and that makes me feel happy. I am sad that people won't take my evidence for God when I tell them about it. The way the world actually is and God's decisions and preferences are a mystery to me sometimes. From your atheist perspective you have pointed out some truths about God's relationship with human beings. There are many things that I have written here that I have not fully explained and you could question my statements and point out inconsistancies, just know that I could only write so much. Your video gave me some consolation about how you would feel if God revealed Himself only to you. Thank you.
Your pardon? He hid from most of them for what just TWO people did, and then LEAVES out part of context of what's in the Bible, has various priests decide MORE what's included or left out, @Nicholas Martinez , and we never learn WHY Romans 1:20 failed SO miserably with one third of all angels, no less. And then are told this god will at times send 'strong delusion' to some people, so they'll believe a lie, despite that NATURE itself, visible nature, is supposedly enough to prove one, and only ONE author behind all of it. So who is 'god of this world' then? And what is a 'natural man', and which bits of nature CAN we trust to be self evident about only one author or power behind it? And the moment everyone spoke the same language, and then in fear began building a tower for fear of a Flood again, instead of all being GUIDED and educated together by this God (or gods - see Genesis 3:22) they are CONFUSED in their language, and scattered wildly into a world still roamed about perhaps by disloyal, suicidally prideful angels, maybe exiled TO this world (out of billions of potential ones) who KEPT powers, no less. And never, not once, had any 'choice' made for them by ancestors before birth, that could make them 'spiritually dead' or with a 'hereditary sin nature', before they even could draw breath - let alone choose between two invisible 'sides', that in practice include thousands of 'gods' and traditions and faiths. If that is 'equal free will' and not slanted privilege for the demented angels, I'd love to see what an unfair version would be. And who does even CARE what one mad angel thought of Job, also? YHWH, it seems, did. And how many Spirits are there, and which one ever advised, chastised or impeded Torquemada?
Wow. I am shocked but also should’ve seen this coming. If god exists then Matt would work against that god because he believes he knows better than god!! I guess the evidence shows that Matt knows better than the creator of everything?😂😂😂 This man is insane.
i would understand that another person would need its own personal relevation then, since it was only the mine that enabled me to determine god as existend - and i would know then that i should not fuck around with the existing boss' authority by demanding believe into me that gd exists, since god is to be believed, not me.
Talk about a backhand 'defense' of their god and a damning view such a person would be giving of what they think a healthy relationship involves... 'My god loves everyone including you and wants to have a relationship with you but if you wouldn't worship and revere them then of course they wouldn't bother.'
When God came down and revealed himself men crucified Him. The world hates Him, people blaspheme his name in almost every movie you watch. But God demonstrated his own love for us in this that while we were still sinners Christ died for us. They crucified the Author of Life the creator of heaven and earth but death couldn’t hold him and he raised Himself from the dead. He is the resurrection and the life to anyone that believes In Him is your only hope all other paths lead to death. Repent of your sins turn from them and trust fully in Jesus Christ he is your only hope in life and the only hope you can have on your death. Glory to the coming king of kings ❤
And Matt's answer demonstrates this because he said that if the God that revealed Himself to him didn't do according to what Matt thought God would do that He would not respect and would actively work in opposition to Him. Absolutely no sense of humility before the God and he not only was wrong but He actively fought against the idea of the Creator. This is why Matt is blinded by his own sin. No humility, all finger pointing. Not a sense of saying to God, "I don't understand then why you did....x."
If one of these made up gods turned out to be real it better be ready to get a serious earful of questions and criticisms because it is either evil, inept, or just plain useless.
Frankly, it sounds a bit pet like, isnt it? I created this dog who will never fully understand my reasoning - who should sit by my side and listen to me completely. And if it does well, I will shower it in treats and pets. And if it does wrong, I will punish it surely. At least, thats always how it looked to me. People wanna feel like pets?

@Magical Chemical Daddy I have no god.

I have often said I would distrust anyone who claims to be a deity, even if they have proof. Because that proof is likely to be fairly beyond my understanding if it involves any magic. Hey Christians, if a god reveals itself to you and it is not christian, what will you do?
Easy answer. Still wouldn't bow down to it.
All beings deserve respect and autonomy. If that respect is not granted as an equal - I will not respect that being.
Justice demands that equal things be treated equally and unequal things be treated unequally. I wouldn’t treat a paper I scribbled on the same way I would treat a painting by Monet.
Assuming God exists and he created you, why do you think you deserve equal respect and autonomy by Him? We don’t demand that of our superiors at our jobs. We call our bosses sir/ma’am and they can do things that we are not allowed. Thoughts?
I have nothing but questions:
"How do you know that you are God?"
"Do you exist? God may answer, "Yes"... then I respond, "Well then... you admit that the conditions exist that makes you possible?"
God would have to say, "Yes"...
A judge uses reason to determine whether or not something is fair... or unalienable... or just.
You quip:
"My point was to ask why someone greater than ourselves should treat us as equals?"
No two people are equal - for sure.
Within this locus of moral ideology lies an unalienable truth:
People deserve rights because everyone is a 'people'.
Now, there exist no inviolable rights, as in the case of abortion where the mother's right to her own privacy supersedes the fetuses right to continue to use her body to live... besides, "people" is a legal term.
Here is the philosophical moorings for this ideal:
"I perceive that I exist" -
@@postmodern9208 without a grounding for human worth or value outside of our own selves we are left with no objective reason to value anyone.
@@BattleF08 Why would you need to test Moses staff in a lab? Do you not trust your own eyes?

My idea of a revelation of /from 'God' is simply someone becoming self aware. People just have different cultural models to 'worship' through. Some go religion, some go science, some go individualist, etc. But something happens to a person to unite themselves with their own being amd the universe around them. Completely unique experience to each of us.
But the people that go to religion have to pretend a number of things exist and have existed for their dream to be true in their head, bypassing reality.

In a sense, We are God and the Devil. That is the revelation that changes lives for the better, potentially.

God sounds like a salesman who needs to be fired.
The correct response is to ask "What does god need with a Starship?"
If Dillahunty is the best atheists have to offer, my faith is secure.
I'm irrelevant to your confused, deluded beliefs
Yeah I know, it's only when you actually read the bible you will stop believing. Or more likely in your case, bury yourself under another mountain of apologetics and lies.
It’s almost like…..there’s no god.
If God revealed himself to me I would report him to the Elder Gods for flashing.
🤣🤣🤣
I think I already know the Matts answer just from the thumbnail.
The answer to "What will change your mind about god's existence?" is "Evidence."
Then the debate moves on to ""Should I worship the god that approves of slavery as seen in Exodus 21?" and that answer is "No!"
Exodus 21.5 - 6 - "And if the servant shall plainly say, *_I love my master,_* my wife, and my children; I will not go out free:
Then his master shall bring him unto the judges; he shall also bring him to the door, or unto the door post; and his master shall bore his ear through with an aul; and he shall serve him forever."
I am a slave today. I love my Master. My master loved me first and that's why he chose to purchase me. No one can take me away from him nor would either of us ever choose to end the relationship.
You know nothing about slavery.
@@rubiks6 if you wish to argue that slavery is q moral good: The floor is all yours. Please elucidate us.
Plus, your using the part that allows a master to fucktrick his Hebrew slave from a six year term to lifetime chattel slavery.
@@boomanchu2 - Did you not understand my previous post? I am a slave. That means I am chattel. Someone owns me. I love my Owner/Master and he loves me. I am thrilled to belong to him forever.
I have bigger fish to fry than defending biblical slavery. I defend the reality of Gᴏᴅ, the topic of this UA-cam video posting.
Leviticus 25:46 and Exodus 21:20 WILL BE discussed on here.
No dodges.
@@chrissonofpear1384 - _You_ can discuss whatever you'd like. It's a free country.
Yeah it’s hard to believe when god only reveals himself to individual people at a time….
Matt, I just want to say God loves you so much. I hope you know that.
Lies
Wow. I am shocked but also should’ve seen this coming. If god exists then Matt would work against that god because he believes he knows better than god!! I guess the evidence shows that Matt knows better than the creator of everything?😂😂😂 This man is insane.
Wow, your dishonest as fuck. That's not what I said.
But I DEFINITELY know better than you.
You clearly didn’t watch the video.
George Burns? I would ask that "God" why he wasn't Jack Benny.
If you know the story....
i would understand that another person would need its own personal relevation then, since it was only the mine that enabled me to determine god as existend - and i would know then that i should not fuck around with the existing boss' authority by demanding believe into me that gd exists, since god is to be believed, not me.
Answer: I call the atheist experience, and have Matt make me and my new god look like idiots😁
If one of these made up gods turned out to be real it better be ready to get a serious earful of questions and criticisms because it is either evil, inept, or just plain useless.
No being worthy of worship would tolerate that let alone have psychopathic desire for it
Frankly, it sounds a bit pet like, isnt it?
I created this dog who will never fully understand my reasoning - who should sit by my side and listen to me completely. And if it does well, I will shower it in treats and pets. And if it does wrong, I will punish it surely.
At least, thats always how it looked to me. People wanna feel like pets?
@@HexerPsy the sad part is that some really enjoy being god's toy
matt dillahunty is a brilliant person
Do we believe in Chocolate ice cream because it "revealed itself" to us? Or did you have to go looking for it? I'm just sayin'... 😉
If you watched it, what did you think of Netflix's Midnight Mass?
