You cannot underestimate any one , one who done others one day they others became successful and world remember them their extra ordinary work forever.great composer laxmikant pyarelal.
His music made my life colourful when I was growing up and still it reminds me those colourful days whenever I listen his creative masterpieces. I am proud to born when he was creating beautiful musical songs.
Debut film: Parasmani (1963)
Laxmikant Pyarelal will be remembered in the history of Indian film music in many aspects. Which one should be counted as the best reason? Their versatility? Their melody? Their orchestration? Or for the reason that three legendary singers (Lata Mangeshkar, Mohd. Rafi & Kishore Kumar) have sung their maximum number of songs for them? Or would you like to take the reason that they have scored for the maximum number of films in Bollywood (more than 600 films!!)?
They were simply genius! Starting from their debut film, they have scored superb melodies for the next two decades. After 80-s, their melody decreased (just like the other music directors also; there was an overall quality down from the 80-s, if compared with the 50-70-s)- but still super hit and popular songs were created. We cannot accept “Choli ke peechhe kya hai” or “Ek do teen” to be very beautiful songs, but they gained popularity! This was the magic of Laxmikant Pyarelal. If you go through their shortened filmography, you will find what great melodies and musical films they created from 1963 to 1980. It is even difficult to create a “short” filmography for them; most of the films were big musical hits. They used Lata Mangeshkar, Mohd. Rafi and Kishore Kumar vastly in their career. In the 70-s, they were the main competitor of the contemporary music directors (Kalyanji Anandji and R.D. Burman).
Laxmikant passed away in 1998 and that was also the end of their musical career and journey. They will be remembered for ever for their valuable contribution in Hindi film music.

इस जोड़ी ने कभी भी किसी को नीचा नही दिखाया,जब रफी saab का time off चल रहा था,70,s में,तब भी ये rafi को नही भूले,जबकि कल्याणजी,आनंदजी,rd burman, sd burman, और नए md बप्पी,राजेश रोशन जैसे लोग रफी को किनारे लगा दिए थे
Bhai rafi sahab ka time kabhi off nahi raha, rafi sahab ne khud taqriban 1 saal se zyada waqt ke liye singing chhod di thi.

After emergence of Rishi Kpr he started getting work. But no question from 1971 Kishore Kr became no 1 hit singer. I remind u dear Iam a grt fan of Rafi sa n always believed nobody can match him .

Great music directors.They have dominated Bollywood nearly two decades.Laxmikantaji was a great fan of Jaikishanji, the music director and he was having a great impact of Jaikishanji. I am very much proud of Laxmikantaji as was from Kudal , Konkan Maharashtra. Laxmi-pyare will always remember for their extraordinary contribution for producing immortal melodious music in Bollywood .

Gaurav Kalraji ,please try to understand one thing NS had to struggle for a long period till around early 90s and there onwards they didn't last long whereas LP came in 1963 and immediately bagged the prestigious filmfare award in 1964 (total awards won 7and nominations 25!) , there onwards they lasted for about 35 years,indeed achievement worth reckoning. Moreover, there versatility was unparalleled, right from mythologicals (Sati Savitri , Harishchandra Taramati , Sant Gyaneshwar ) to Muslim background films(Mehboob ki Mehendi etc) , Qawallis to classical musical films (Sur Sangam etc) to disco music (Karz).

Laxmikant was more talented.thats why laxmikant pyarelal survived for very very long.they never allowed r.d. burman to over take them.after Kishore Kumar rise laxmikant pyarelal gave MD.rafi life to his career.actually when Kishore Kumar was at his peak . the best songs were of MD. Rafi.

NS started their struggle in 1979-80, while the got first proper break in 1990, even that movie was a bunch of copied songs. lucked helped them but LP till their last number (DEEWANA MASTANA) remained in top chart.

Lxmi जी की नोकर रखने वाली बात और उसका अतापता पूछने से मतलब अब समझ आया क्या कहना चाहते थे वो,क्योंकि 90,s में गाने copied किये जा रहे थे,कोई पाकिस्तन के गाने,कोई illiyaraja के गाने टपा रहा था,या south music tune copy कर रहा था
