- In this video I explain some of the common questions and problems many if not all players face with regard to opening phase of Chess. Following questions are analyzed in detail in this video:
1. to play main lines or side lines
2. to understand or memorize
3. to play what we know well or to surprise opponent 4. how important opening preparation is at my current level?
5. to play openings closer to our style or play openings not in our natural style for general improvement
6. play same openings over period or expand and learn new ones
7. If expand, how to plan/time it well
8. to check each move with engines or believe in strong players and learn as such (accuracy or understanding)

this is the best chess opening advice Ive ever heard, i'm impressed, thanks for this video.
You have no idea how helpful this was for me ...I am rated around 1900 on chess.com i always played the Italian games and till now I was wasting a move by playing h3 to stop Bg4 because I didn't knew about Nd2 Nf1 Ng3 idea also the Na4 move used to bother me and I used to think that pawn structures are very important now I know there are other things more important than that ..So I am feeling bad for watching this for free..
I also came to know this idea of maneuvering knight to G3 almost 3 years after i began to play italian or other e4 openings. Sometimes you will think white bishop should be removed from a2 -g8 diagonal as it may blocked due to pawns in opening or middle game, or Black might have played Kh8 but i would suggest that let it rest there only. It would become death from heaven in endgame. Sometimes you may have to bring it on a2 due to threat of exchnage, in that case also, let the black capture it first and then you take with Ra2. Ra2 is helpful when idea of doubling rooks is good. It would be good when your second rank has no pawns till E or F file, helping in creating a battery.
Glad I could help you in some way! Feeling honored.
@past Kid bro can u give me a time stamp where sir taught it. I have missed the stream
Thanks to Corona that we are able to learn from India's best coach directly.

Thank you for this sir I learned a lot today 🙏
Sir, This is shahazad from Kerala. I subscribed to your channel and watching classes regularly. Your classes are wonderful. I have a suggestion, do please stream every week. Cut short your stream time to 45 minutes. Base each episode on one quality/approach/principle that we want to acquire. Give some exercises for next week. Do please consider. Thank you.
Learned alot
Preparation priority mentioned in the video is : MIDDLEGAME 60% - ENDING 20% - OPENING 20%
