The main reason I guess is sapna and angan haven't shown much respect to king as yukti and nandu. King already knew that they don't know how to play the game but by giving respect and convincing the king , yukti and nandu have won the task.
As soon as angan checked mated , he left in a hurry and sapna also sat down without kings permission so maybe these are the reasons due to which they lost.
