Part of me wishes that this was how Super Sonic 2 looked originally
I like the idea of having the transformation which is just a boost of cyber energy over the super form and then having another which is the total fusion of their powers
Totally agree with you @UltraSTH, cyber Sonic is a much better upgrade than just super sonic with blue eyes, l mean sega came up with the idea and code so, possibly at one point he was ! Just glad to see actual people put time and effort to actually see what he would look like if sega chose this version instead !

Ian Flynn said that he wanted to include Hyper Sonic for The Final Horizon wave, but Super Sonic 2 was then made as a call back to Hyper Sonic. It would've been amazing to play as Hyper Sonic again and see him transform into Hyper Sonic Cyber

I just wish Super Sonic 2 had at least a little more distinction from Super Sonic than just the eye color and aura (and him insisting on acting like vegeta lmao).
And then for Cyber Sonic, if this update had an extra few months of work done on it, I would’ve loved to battle directly against The End in space as Cyber Sonic, maybe even with new moves.
"super Sonic 2" isn't a new form. It's just a Power up that's put on the regular super form hence why there's not really any difference between the two

Apparently, from the wiki page of Sonic Frontiers, the form when Super Sonic 2 went all out for the final blow against The End is called Super Sonic Cyber(the name is kinda the same but just swapped around).
its called Super Sonic Cyber because thats what the game files call it, i called it cyber sonic because it sounded better

Shouldve launched super sonic cyber into the purple moon, then the gameplay enters a mysterious purple death energy dimension where you play as Super Sonic Cyber against a managable form of the END, the supposed rabbit design. It wouldve been the most epic Sonic's ever been

One of my ideas is that we would face "Supreme" with PowerUp Super Sonic and then face The End in space with Cyber Sonic

Honestly I wish this was just how the base game handled the transformation considering the powered up form exists because of Sonic using the cyber energy and normal Super Sonic 2 doesn't really show that.

Master King said that if he misused the cyber energy, it would quickly leave him, so he needed to restrain him until the end of the battle to prevent such an outcome.

This is awesome, l wish sega choice to have cyber Sonic in update 3, thought it was really strange sega actually came up with the idea and code for cyber sonic to only be seen for five seconds !
