Simple Curly Hair Routine for Lazy People (it's me, I'm lazy people)

  • Hi everyone! In this video I share with you my simple curly hair routine for when I have lazy hair days. While I still stand by layering products for definition, hold, volume, and whatever else you are trying to achieve, sometimes the day or situation calls for using less products and spending less time. And it sometimes even calls for air drying, which I typically hate because I hate having wet hair all day. But if I can reduce the drying time, it's worth it when I just don't feel like diffusing it either. While I call this my lazy day hair, it certainly works for anyone pressed for time. It can be a great way to do your hair while on vacation so you can spend more time living it up or relaxing and less time worrying about your hair. It also works well for those who are more active or anyone who needs to wash their hair more frequently.

    I am amazed at how you can do next to nothing and your hair still looks so good! Having fine, wavy, low density hair sadly it doesn't work for me. I'm so jealous. You look wonderful.

      Awww thank you, you’re so sweet. Fine, wavy, low density hair definitely has its challenges. But I’m betting yours looks better than you think it does, we are our own worst critics unfortunately. Thank so much for watching, commenting and supporting my channel!

    This was helpful for me on days when I don’t feel well. I have chronic illness and sometimes the hair is just too much. Thanks.

      I also have chronic illness so I can definitely relate. On my “bad” days my goal is to simply get my hair and my scalp clean. I liked the results. I’ve been wanting to try that gel.

      @@Tinacastro729 I have the gel. It doesn’t give a great hair cast but I can get about 4 days out of it. But I agree, just scrub the scalp, condition and put in my products quickly and air dry. I can’t sit there with the diffuser for 30 minutes.

      @@Tinacastro729 I’m glad you liked the results. The gel is really good. Great hold but easy to break the cast. Perfect consistency. I’m sorry you and @Alyssa Rosengard both are suffering from chronic illness. I used to suffer from chronic migraine. I averaged 20 per month. I know what it’s like to feel like crap a lot. I also know what it’s like to have people diminish your experience because they can’t see it. (Or in my case, wave it off as just a bad headache.) I don’t know what your experience is but you have my empathy. Thank you for watching.

    I enjoyed this video as I air dry because I work out daily. I. You love a video showing you using multiple stylers and root clipping for volume.

      I’m glad you enjoyed the video! I’ll be doing another air dry video soon! I’ll be sure to incorporate multiple stylers and root clipping! I just need to find a good day to film it since my hair takes an entire day to dry! Thank you for watching!

    I think your hair looks pretty in this vid ! Full and fluffy (fluffy in a good way!) Yea hair is such a darn crap shoot is right haha. There's days I so need my hair top notch and go thru all the pains doing it just right and it turns out wonky or not as hoped. Then there's days like in this vid, we don't give a hoot or not going anywhere special (the usual pajama day) and bam turns out so nice. Cant win sometimes haha

      Thank you! Agreed, can’t win sometimes. I think the hair wins most times. Lol. Thank you for watching!

    I’m having fun trying out more complicated routines, but I REALLY appreciate a low-effort routine because:
    - sometimes I’m too busy to do the whole thing
    - in the summer, my hair gets wet from swimming or paddle boarding several days a week (plus, blow drying in hot weather is not fun)
    - because having an easy option gives me an “out” - it makes the more complicated routine something I can choose to do, not something I have to do.
    Can I ask: you said you were using a lot of the cream. Was that because that’s the amount your hair needed that day, or were you adding extra because your turban would absorb some of it? I have a different hair type (fine, low/medium-density, and a looser wave), so I think I’d use a lot less than you anyway, and I’m wondering if I’d use my normal amount or scale up.

    • @CurlyChelle547
      @CurlyChelle547  Рік тому

      Definitely. Sometimes it’s nice to go all out and other times it’s nice to just get it done and go. 😊. I used that amount for both those reasons. Thank you for watching!
