My dad had abdominal surgery for a colon cancer. He was 77 years old. Today he is 88 years old and fit as a fiddle. Princess Catherine will heal and live a long healthy life. We wish her all the best ❤️❤️❤️

Everything is so staged and stiff. This is vulnerable and upsetting stuff and it would be enough to just release a written statement. I guess the royal family struggle with how to present themselves, it can’t be too informal and always has to be a big presentation. It’s like a tight rope of being relatable, but not too relatable.
I think this whole system is odd, each side is impacted negativity one way or another. I don’t think it’s unreasonable for people to wonder about the status of those in power. You have to surrender a lot of transparency in order to keep trust. Parasocial bonds, deifying world leaders and the wealth disparity in our world has unleashed this resentment and speculation towards them. The world is wounded.
EDIT: obviously the conspiracist can’t be easily satisfied, but allowing them to push the boundary and demand more (at some point they’ll request finger prints and dental records because they’ll assume it’s a stand in/deepfake or lookalike used as a mouth piece) you can’t let people with bad intentions jerk you around. The video might’ve been unavoidable, but she didn’t have to be propped up like this, a casual video or selfie vlog popping in and updating should be enough.

I am Portuguese, i AM been going trough the same disease (lung cancer)for one year. It is extremely painful and exaushting. You can't imagine how it is. When i heard the statement by Catherine the Princess of Wales i cried, cried, cried. In her final sentences, always thinking about the others, she said: YOU ARE NOT ALONE i felt included, parte of this stoned path, i felt ...i felt confort!

Hearing my mother tell me the day after I turned 29 that she had cancer was the most awful and heartbreaking thing I've ever heard. I had to pull over and gather myself before I rushed to her side. I had to tell my siblings. I can't imagine having to tell young children.

I can’t help but think that the relentless attacks on the RF by those two, have majorly contributed to the serious health issues suffered by her late majesty Queen Elizabeth II, Prince Philip, King Charles and now our cherished Princess of Wales. The lies and accusations haven’t stopped in the last 5 years, with the gruesome twosome fully aware that their targets aren’t able to respond. Absolutely she has been disgracefully bullied. But to be fair, that's not why she released this information today (according to sources). They reportedly always intended to release the diagnosis, on this particular day - because the kids break up from school.
They didn't want the kids getting bombarded at school, with questions about her cancer. And maybe they wanted to process it themselves first (and let the kids finish the school term), before telling the kids. She seems to imply they've only just told the kids (and I guess that's wise, too. So they can be with the kids over the next few weeks; comfort them; answer questions, etc.)
I remember my parents doing something similar, when my Gran died (I was 6). It happened mid-week, on our very first week at a new school. So they didn't tell us until the weekend, as they didn't want us too disrupted settling into the school.
I think the recent security breach at the London clinic forced her hand. Not knowing what, if any, medical history had been compromised, better the news comes from Kate directly, than to find incorrect information splashed all over the front page of the morning papers.
When my father had câncer, I was in the Hospital with him and was the first person to know about in the family. I was devastaded, I had cry, and I need to give the information to my mother and brothers, and be positive to talk to my father that stayed in the Hospital and was "diggesting" the new information about him health too.
It's not easy to the patient put the health in the right way, and undestand all, and decide to fight with câncer. It needs some little time.
So, I think about the children that receive this information about their loved mom.
It's very easy to understand the pression over the Wales family.
Te mother feelings comes before be the Royal, her children are very young, the Grandfather is seek too.

I'm a bit of a royalist myself, but we have to be honest and admit that this was handled badly by the Palace. That poor handling has probably resulted in those dear children being more harmed than they needed to be.
She literally just asked for 6 months of privacy due to a health issue. Anyone who thought that was "suspicious" needs their head checked.
Most of us whose ancestors have been here for hundreds of years did come from England. But my family fought in the Revolutionary War! So I can like - and I do, very much - like Charles. Of course I love Catherine. I started really studying who Charles was at the height of the Diana worship. He is a complex man, who needed hugs and cuddles from his parents. He's very artistic, has always cared about not the insane climate change stuff, but he's always advocated for keeping the air and water clean, surrounding oneself with plants, which is very healthy for us. He is not my King, I am not a traitor to the country my family has been in before the Mayflower landed. But I appreciate him very much. The UK are our closest & best allies!
