Is it the same process to update the content of a existing website? Thank you for the video
Thanks a lot, sir
Awesome series, thank you so much for sharing this. I'm following along and created the India Site and everything. I have a question, when I click the Rollout Page only 2 Live Copies are showing up (Canada and US) but not India. Am I missing something?
Check your site relation with language master. You may have missed rollout configuration.
Check below -
1. open page properties of en (/content/we-retail/language-masters/en) and go to 'BluePrint' tab. You will see all live copies created using this english language copy.
2. If you don't see in/en in love copies. Go to in site(/content/we-retail/in). open page properties. Go to Live Copy tab and add rollout config. Just add standard rollout config.
After adding rollout config, you will able to see rollout option for india(en) site.
@SRMA4TECH Are you seeing in/en as live copy. if not, there is some issue with rollout configuration. Check rollout configuration.
@@AEMGeeks I am also having the issue same as @marceloc in the language master its listing the all the 3 sites us,ca and in, but at the time of rollout of new page its only showing us and ca. In the /we-retail/in properties is showing standard rollout configuration. I there is some missing configuration in Indian site as the Indian site is created by us. Thanks for the series going throw it trying to make some sense about this whole AEM thing, I have to create components in React have no idea AEM and React ties together.
@@AEMGeeks Same issue with me. I checked in en (/content/we-retail/language-masters/en), it shows 3 current live copies and I checked site(/content/we-retail/in) and rollout configuration is standard but still it is showing only 2 countires in rollout test page.
Were you able to find a solution to this problem? I am too facing the same issue.
HI i am not getting "in" path in edit page rolldout properties
Go to your live copy and then open properties there you will find option LIVE COPY beside permissions option then scroll down you will see an option called LIVE COPY INHERITANCE click the checkbox and now go to your page and click the rollout option now you will see other copies as well. you got this
Sorry Sir i may be wrong but I think you forget to tell that after creation of live copy must go to the newly created site properties and then in the Live Copy menu must CHECK the "Live copy inheritance" that is under the Configuration section
Hi AEM Greeks, Are you giving online trainings?
Pls define in precise way what is language copy and what is live copy
So from language copy you create multiple live copies for different sites for example there is en page in language masters you don't need to create on more en page for usa and canada you just take the en blueprint from language masters and put it in usa and canada basically you copy and paste instead of building the new pages over and over again
Hello sir! How much knowledge of AEM is required for technical product owner
Hi sir
Qsn. I can create a page in one path, when i'm publish that page
I want the same page in different path. Is it possible?
What you mean by different path. Different site is in same site or different site (if using MSM). You can achieve this with live copy.
If MSM/live copy does not work for your use case then you have to write custom functionality using either workflow or event handler.
@@AEMGeeks Thanks for your reply sir
I am not able to see that roll out option. Then what to do?
Do you have live copies. Ideally if you have live copies created properly, you should see options.
@@AEMGeeks Thanks
what about the actual translation
only getting ca and us not in
getting the same issue but resolve it doing this
After creation of live copy must go to the newly created site properties and then in the Live Copy menu must CHECK the "Live copy inheritance" that is under the Configuration section
