Cut at Huey Meaux's Grits 'n' Gravy studio in Canton, MS
+Red Kelly Hi Red, I have a source that states it was recorded at the Grits 'n' Gravy studio, in Clinton, MS owned by Bob McRee and bros, Cliff and Ed Thomas.
+Stormcock - as stated. Huey was more or less a 'silent partner' at Grits 'n' Gravy in those days... the interesting part is that it was produced by Bob Robin, the New Orleans DJ who was Cosimo's partner in Dover Records until just before it all fell apart. Meaux had had a falling out with Cosimo in 1964, and I'm sure was all too willing to cut Robin's New Orleans artists for him. There's a great 2 CD set called "The Best of International City" with this, and a whole bunch of other tracks cut there on it too... Thanks!!
