i asked my boss if i could take one of the mini verse displays home today just for this reason, after seeing they were super glued down i needed to find a video and make sure it was possible to get them out before smuggling the rest out lol.
I asked in my local Smyths if i could take the empty display and the guy said no because his manager told him people are selling them online. And then he ripped it up infront of me. At least i would have been recycling it 😡 i just wanted the minis from it.

Interesting. I don’t know why there is so much glue. People take these boxes home all the time.
