I like how the backround is really fancy while the desk is really simple to balance each other out. And the ladybug sweater looks good on you. I appreciate you made the sorting like this even though its for "pretending to be organized". The crinkly page turning and writing is a really good touch, and my favorite part of the video. I hope you enjoy the magazines Kat! And hopefully there's enough room for them
Hey, Unknown Glitch! Thanks for adding to the conversation with, as always, an interesting summary/analysis of the video. ❤ I agree, the writing does add something a little more tingly to the video. Otherwise, the sounds wouldn't stand out that much. I think I'm going to keep the magazines until I've gone through them all, before donating them to the little Street Library where I live. Hope you're doing well!
Your videos are simply the best. I never miss one, even if I don't always comment. They are still the best thing for calming my anxiety and helping me to get all those overwhelming, intrusive thoughts out of my head. I told my therapist how I use your channel to calm my anxiety, and she said that she was going to mention your channel, and ASMR in general, to a few of her other patients, because it seems like something that might be able to help them, as they complain about having the same problem with clearing the "clutter" from their heads when their anxiety is bad. ❤️❤️
Absolutely, me too. Here where I live, therapists are way too expensive. I’m lucky to have Kat and her wonderfully relaxing videos. She’s one of a kind.
Hey Terri! 🤗 It's so good to hear from you. ❤ I remember you and know you're here even if you're not always vocal about it. Thank you for the support! On the one hand, it would be ideal if you no longer needed these videos to distract you from the big A. On the other hand, it's great to have something non-toxic to turn to when your soul is in need of calming or if you want to chase away annoying and intrusive thoughts. It makes me happy you're getting something out of these videos. Who knows, maybe one day ASMR videos will be included in psychiatry textbooks as a form of alternative anti-anxiety treatment. 🙂 Take care and thanks again for your thoughtful comment. 💟
That's a lot of bird magazines. At first i thought they were from Jen from Just Paper Asmr, but she had a different kind now that i think about it, and she definitly doesnt have that much yet Also thanks for the scent description! Maybe it was because they were stored away for so long ? Love the sound btw Kat! Always on the good quality! Thanks for the video Kat! Hope all is well and have a good day/night!
Hey there, Ivah! 🤗 Thanks for stopping by. I wish Jenn & I could continue to swap magazines & newspapers but the postage rates between the USA and Belgium, as well as the import taxes are exorbitantly high. It's a shame. 🙁 Hope you're doing well. Take care! 💟
Hey Kat!🤗 Hope all is ok. These sorting-type videos you do always seem popular with your audience. For me, I find them relaxing, but I don’t get any tingles from them. Still I like it that you try different things. And great description. You always knock that out of the park. I love birds too. Do you have a favorite bird? I actually have two favorite birds. My second favorite birds are owls. They are just such majestic creatures. My favorite birds are penguins. They’re kind of funny looking, but what makes them great is what incredible lengths they go to take care of their loved ones. Many live in very inhospitable places, but yet they find a way to raise their young. You can’t help but admire them. There’s one bird I don’t like though….robins. Well, ok, just one particular robin that terrorized us this past summer. It all started on a sunny morning in early June when I was brushing my teeth. I started noticing this very loud thumping noise every few seconds. My wife met me in the kitchen as we both tried to find the source of the noise. We finally traced it to the basement window where this robin was repeatedly running into it. We assumed it was mistaking it’s reflection in the window for another bird and attacking it. We decided to cover the window to see if that would stop him. We used this old piece of deck lattice so that we would still have some light coming in. It worked. So, we waited about two weeks, and we didn’t see the robin once during that time, it had disappeared. So, we decided it was safe to remove the cover. We were shocked when, not 10 MINUTES later, the robin was back hitting the window again. This time I took a closer look at what the robin was doing, and it turns out he wasn’t running into the window, he was kicking it with his feet, like with his wings spread a little for balance, karate kid-style. He would kick one foot first and then follow with the other in quick succession, like “bah bang!…bah bang!…bah bang!”. I also started to wonder if he really was seeing his reflection, because while I was observing him kicking the window, he suddenly stopped, turned sideways, stood perfectly still and appeared to be staring at me through the window, following my movement with this crazed, scary-looking eye. Panicked, I quickly moved myself out of it’s view. Within a few seconds he resumed kicking the window and I let out the breath I was holding in a sigh of relief. So, we covered the window again and waited another two weeks, removed the cover, 10 minutes later..kung-fu robin again, covered and waited, uncovered, more kung-fu, etc., etc. It seemed like it would never end and It was getting very unsettling. He wouldn’t leave us alone. It was like he was watching from a hidden spot, just waiting for us to uncover the window. I pictured him sitting in the trees, with little binoculars, staking out our house, patiently biding his time munching on seeds. I thought about calling the police, but I was afraid they might not believe me. Anyway, It took until late AUGUST before he finally left for good. It was quite an unnerving experience. I still jump every time I hear a thumping noise. Take care Kat!🙂
Wow, what a maniacal robin that was! 😲 That's some serious self-loathing going on there. Such a tiny animal and such rage within that red breast. What do you reckon; brain tumor? Meth? Or just plain psychotic bird rage? Whatever the underlying reason, his actions sound just like those of unsettling Stephen King characters. C.R.E.E.P.Y! Did you have nightmares long after the experience? P.S.: haha, just noticed your slightly adapted username. 😂
@@PoisabloomASMR Hahaha "Meth" 🤣 maybe just rage, not sure tbh. Lol, no nightmares thankfully. Ooohhh Stephen King..are you a fan? He lives in Bangor, Maine, which is about a 3hr drive from my house (I'm very close to the US border). I earned my B.A Business from the University of Maine so I've passed by his house a few times and it's exactly as you would imagine it, scary looking old Victorian house with black wrought iron fence all around. He gave a lecture at my school once, but the auditorium was packed, so I couldn't get in. Take care Kat!🙂 p.s. lol, yeah well if you say that's my name...then I might as well own it. 😏💜
