Been watching your videos for years now. I want to believe woodgas is a good alternative fuel. Trouble is, I never see any of these homemade gassifiers actually run an engine for longer than a few minutes without dying. I think you should show a video with one of your woodgas generators running and powering something for 10-20 minutes, even if its timelaps, I think it would go a long way towards proving to people the efficacy of this diy technology for off grid homesteaders.
from this set up. i realized the oil in the ground is made from burning pants and not dinosaurs. it is in the smokes water vapor,. it falls to earth in the rains änd is filtered out of the water by the soil.
Surely the way to separate the different grades is to let the liquid settle and naturally seperate, then syphon out the top layer. Isn't that how they do it in refineries ?
@@markedwards9247 As far as I know, they heat the fluid to extract the different parts. Each of the fluid or fuel types boils at a different temperature. They heat it very slowly and capture the fumes at specific temperatures. That's how it was explained to me in chemistry class in the 80's anyway.
