I Love This Anthem
They're the Beehive State, and this theme pervades the entire state. Utah state roads are represented by a beehive symbol. There is a town called Honeyville. And they jumped at the opportunity to co-opt the Beehive Star Cluster for a state symbol!

I hope it does, hope MS set a precedent for giving our state flags a facelift. If only they actually had unique and distinguishable designs like other administrative division flags, like the Brazilian states for instance. Instead of the British-style SOB.

Frankly I would be very surprised if Utah WEREN'T redder than a ripe strawberry!
Edit: this is nothing new. Even as far back as 1912, Utah was one of only two states that Taft carried when he was running against Roosevelt and Wilson!
Edit 2: I'm pretty sure the last time Utah didn't vote for the elephant was in 1964, when LBJ got everything except five of the Deep South states plus Arizona!
