I've had the original Pros for a while. I just got the Pros 2 a couple of days ago and they really are better. The ANC sure seems better, and Transparency is definitely better. I didn't like it before and now I do. Mostly I listen to podcasts, but the sound quality is much improved. Very happy with my purchase.
The ability to charge with the AppleWatch charger is surprisingly underrated. With this, 3 in 1 wireless chargers are kind of redundant, and the MagSafe duo elevates from being good to being extremely useful!
Thanks for the review. I received mine a few days ago and have been amazed at how good earbuds could be, especially with noise cancellation and spatial audio. Biggest drawback is that while the left one fits perfectly, for some reason my right ear doesn’t quite match the fit. Will probably be ordering some ‘Comply Foam Tips 2.0 for AirPods Pro’. Glad not to be lugging my ooold Sony MDR-1000Xs around anymore! Amazed at how much things have progressed since 2017.

I was totally blown away by the new AirPods Pro, I’m really surprised by the reviewers who state the the noise cancelation is almost similar to the originals. The NC is SIGNIFICANTLY BETTER, you have to experience it yourself, low frequency noises are totally suppressed. I also haven’t noticed the slight dizziness you usually get with classic ANC earbuds including the OGs. Sound quality is fantastic for what they are, in addition to all the other features. For me they are DEFINITELY worth the upgrade if you can afford them.
I had to drive a car without a muffler for the last couple of days before I could get a new one fitted, the APP2 totally eliminated the exceptionally loud and harsh engine noise
I have personally tried Sony, JBL, Sennheiser, Skullcandy, Marshall and lots more earbuds & headphone. By far my new favourite now is the Airpod Pro 2nd Gen! Really2 impressive work by Apple!
Besides improvements on the two modes, the adjusting volume feature really somehow surprises me … at first I found it super damn hard to do it, thought it was broken too😅 then like one or two days later it turns out the feature works perfectl… I’m not sure it’s me getting used to it or what, but I really feel like it’s accommodating my using habits
I’d definitely say they are worth the upgrade. I wasn’t expecting that much honestly. But there is a big difference betweeen the two. NC, bass, batter life, volume control.

I own AirPods Pro 1 and 2 , beats fit pro and the Bose quiet comfort 2 for noise cancellation ear buds. Bose has the best noise cancellation, AirPods 2 have the best transparency and the beats fit pro have tie the Bose with fit blowing away the AirPods. I also own the AirPods 3, Powerbeats and Sony xm5 over the ears.
@@zaharizahariev if you’re asking if the air pods pro 2 are similar to xm5 I’d probably say yes. Not as good but they are definitely close in my opinion. Honestly I’d prefer the xm5 over the pro 2 simply because I don’t care much for the fit of the pros. I might add don’t get caught up in these freaking reviews. So long as you stay within the quality headphones or buds you’ll find that they are all similar… so go with what feels the best in your ears and I’ll guarantee you’ll be happy.
Has anyone noticed that if you are watching a video on your iPhone and walk around it the AirPods know and change the sound from the left and right earbuds, it makes it sound like your phone is just playing through the speaker but surround sound and is super trippy. This is my first AirPods so I’m not sure if it is just a 2 thing but it is wild and also the noise canceling is crazy good, I was cleaning and accidental left on my garbage disposal cause I forgot it was one, I finally felt the vibration and was like oh yeah

I bought a pair and I’m not sure if it’s just me or if my AirPods are faulty, sometimes the music lags a bit, my AirPods seem to disconnect randomly, UA-cam videos are seriously laggy/glitchy and when I’m screen recording the sound after switching the audio to my phone sounds like white noise. It’s getting annoying I’m not sure if I should go to the Apple Store about it or if it’s my phone acting up since it’s become real slow after updating to iOS 16😩
When it is totally silent and you put noise cancelling on, do you also hear a sort of wind noise? It Is really minimum but without music on you can hear it.

going from reg AirPods to Pro AirPods to me is a night and day difference bec of the active noise cancellation, it's a seriously well done feature on the pros that the regular can't replicate at all. but if you don't need ANC, that's a different story. Hope this helps, thanks for watching!

Any idea why the case drains itself so fast ? I have even deleted them from Find My but the Airpods keeps showing in the app. My 4 years old Airpods 2 have better case battery life than new airpods pro 2. Like wtf. Even my 13 pro max at full brightness and full volume on youtube dont drain so much battery as Airpods pro 2 while they are disconnected in the case lol 😀

I’m sorry but I think you guys are exaggerating, they sound the same like the original AirPods Pro, the only thing I’ll say is different is that when your using Transparency Mode it makes your voice sound weird, like literally when you speak and listen to yourself, you sound almost robotic, but the person that’s talking to you sound perfectly fine, so I would say the 1 generation are the better buy

Yep. I had my doubts but have been pleasantly impressed with the new ones. Cant put my finger on it, but they sound better in small ways, but it all adds up to a nicer experience.
They’re worth it in every way! I got the original pros on launch day in 2019 and I was blown away because that was my first pair of in ear earphones with ANC, but I had a lot of problems with them, sound wise and had to get a lot of replacements. But i didnt care because the sound quality and the practicality of them was so good. So now with the 2nd these excel in the areas the go pros didn’t. ANC really is better and so is transparency. It’s also so convenient that i can charge with my Apple Watch charger and the precision finding feature is game changing!!
They’re totally worth it and the best ANC earbuds for iPhone users ever made, i can’t wait for the AirPods Max to be updated, it’ll totally bury the competition… 🤤🤤
Without the ability to easily manually adjust the EQ for sound, their heavy weight on the head and poor carrying case they are not burying any competition.

listening to this on my AP3. i just love not having a rubber thing in my ear. AP1-2. APP1 always hurt my right side of my ear cause it didn’t fit right.. the AP3s are perfect for my ears. apples got almost everyone covered.
I wouldn't buy earbuds that don't create a seal, once I get use to the silicon eartips there is no coming back for me... You just have to get the right size
I stopped using my airpod pro 1st gen, as soon as I have the Airpod 3. The 3 sounded way better than airpod pro 1st gen. Then I got the pro 2nd gen. Needless to say, I am switching back and forth between the pro2 and the 3rd. Pro 2 is way better compared to the 1st pro
I was genuinely hoping the new AirPod pros would be as amazing as most reviewers have been claiming but quite frankly, I feel it’s a bit overrated from an ANC upgrade perspective. The positives for me is that it can be charged using an Apple Watch charger and that it sounds a bit more crisp and louder than the original AirPod pros. The Bose QC earbuds ii on the other hand have a much better ANC performance and base but lack some other features such as wireless charging

Sounds like you simply need to change earbud size. The ANC in apples Airpods are for me way ahead of anything else. Try the biggest earbud, that one, surprisingly for me fit well and helped ANC to block out everything.
Can’t wait to try these out. I’ve been using the Airpods 3 for a while now and have been very impressed with it so far. However, I do miss the NC the Pros brought to the table but my experience wasn’t that good back then. Had the crackling and static issues which was a major letdown.
What about blocking background noise when using them on phone calls. The gen 1 airpods were very poor in blocking background noise from transmitting over to the person that I was speaking to. The ANC worked well so that I could hear them good, but my voice was being drowned out by the background noise on my end and makes for a very unpleasant experience for the person that I am speaking to. I know the feeling because I've been on the receiving end of an airpods call and it is terrible to the point where I would say call me back when you are in a quiet place. I haven't found a reviewer that spends much time reviewing this capability.
I mostly do internet based calls like Facetime and Whatsapp and iPhones already have a voice isolation feature on there regardless of what earbuds u use
I am happy everything has big improvement in noise cancellation and sound quality. However, connectivity issues especially when you are using MacBook and iPhone. It still does not switch seamlessly. Moreover, the connectivity on iPhone is more problematic than before. It just doesn't want to connect sometime to iPhone and you need to remove and put it back a few times to make it work (on this its worst than my older Airpods Pro 1st gen).
My Pro 2s arrive tomorrow, and I'm really looking forward to improved sound quality. To me, everything else is second to that, as music in an already quiet office is what I'll use them for the most. I did enjoy my original Pros, but the sound on them was "meh" at best.

I’m not going to buy anymore fountain pen ink. I am so thankful you showed that water bottle though. My city keeps adding chlorine into the water in higher levels and it makes me very sick. I’m actually very sick since getting Covid and always have to travel to Dr appointments and always need to take water with me. It makes me not keep up with water for my POTS and makes me even more sick. So I’ll be getting that water bottle even if I don’t win.

Yep. I had my doubts but have been pleasantly impressed with the new ones. Cant put my finger on it, but they sound better in small ways, but it all adds up to a nicer experience.
they have completely new drivers and new chip and AMP as well so the bass hits a lot harder and theres more clarity :)

They’re worth it in every way! I got the original pros on launch day in 2019 and I was blown away because that was my first pair of in ear earphones with ANC, but I had a lot of problems with them, sound wise and had to get a lot of replacements. But i didnt care because the sound quality and the practicality of them was so good. So now with the 2nd these excel in the areas the go pros didn’t. ANC really is better and so is transparency. It’s also so convenient that i can charge with my Apple Watch charger and the precision finding feature is game changing!!
How is the microphone? The mic on the original AirPods Pro leaves much to be desired
They’re totally worth it and the best ANC earbuds for iPhone users ever made, i can’t wait for the AirPods Max to be updated, it’ll totally bury the competition… 🤤🤤

Without the ability to easily manually adjust the EQ for sound, their heavy weight on the head and poor carrying case they are not burying any competition.

I’m loving the AirPods Pro 2 over the Beats Fit Pro and have given those to my daughter. They feel so comfortable and they sound great to me. Well worth the upgrade and price
I just got them today I've tried them all and they never stayed in my ears until now with the extra small pads they stay in I'm super excited to give them a try.
I love my AirPod pro 2s, but I get tons of Bluetooth drop outs with my Garmin watch. Apple made a product that only works well with apple sources.
listening to this on my AP3. i just love not having a rubber thing in my ear. AP1-2. APP1 always hurt my right side of my ear cause it didn’t fit right.. the AP3s are perfect for my ears. apples got almost everyone covered.
I wouldn't buy earbuds that don't create a seal, once I get use to the silicon eartips there is no coming back for me... You just have to get the right size
I stopped using my airpod pro 1st gen, as soon as I have the Airpod 3. The 3 sounded way better than airpod pro 1st gen. Then I got the pro 2nd gen. Needless to say, I am switching back and forth between the pro2 and the 3rd. Pro 2 is way better compared to the 1st pro
I was genuinely hoping the new AirPod pros would be as amazing as most reviewers have been claiming but quite frankly, I feel it’s a bit overrated from an ANC upgrade perspective.
The positives for me is that it can be charged using an Apple Watch charger and that it sounds a bit more crisp and louder than the original AirPod pros.
The Bose QC earbuds ii on the other hand have a much better ANC performance and base but lack some other features such as wireless charging
Sounds like you simply need to change earbud size. The ANC in apples Airpods are for me way ahead of anything else. Try the biggest earbud, that one, surprisingly for me fit well and helped ANC to block out everything.
I just use my watch to control the volume so it’s not that big of a deal for me. I just need new ones because the battery on my first gen pros suck.
Why not talk about the mic issues during a call outside?

Can’t wait to try these out. I’ve been using the Airpods 3 for a while now and have been very impressed with it so far. However, I do miss the NC the Pros brought to the table but my experience wasn’t that good back then. Had the crackling and static issues which was a major letdown.

What about blocking background noise when using them on phone calls. The gen 1 airpods were very poor in blocking background noise from transmitting over to the person that I was speaking to. The ANC worked well so that I could hear them good, but my voice was being drowned out by the background noise on my end and makes for a very unpleasant experience for the person that I am speaking to. I know the feeling because I've been on the receiving end of an airpods call and it is terrible to the point where I would say call me back when you are in a quiet place. I haven't found a reviewer that spends much time reviewing this capability.
I mostly do internet based calls like Facetime and Whatsapp and iPhones already have a voice isolation feature on there regardless of what earbuds u use
I am happy everything has big improvement in noise cancellation and sound quality. However, connectivity issues especially when you are using MacBook and iPhone. It still does not switch seamlessly. Moreover, the connectivity on iPhone is more problematic than before. It just doesn't want to connect sometime to iPhone and you need to remove and put it back a few times to make it work (on this its worst than my older Airpods Pro 1st gen).
I just bought a pair let's see what they are all about.
My Pro 2s arrive tomorrow, and I'm really looking forward to improved sound quality. To me, everything else is second to that, as music in an already quiet office is what I'll use them for the most. I did enjoy my original Pros, but the sound on them was "meh" at best.

Hi guys. Need your help with my purchase where I’m looking to buy a TWS. Well, I’m a basshead where I love to listen loads of EDM’s. So here’s my question, is it worth buying AirPods Pro 2 or buy other TWS which are in the market.?
My baby’s baby (my doggy’s puppy) got a hold of my case yesterday and sadly they got chewed up bad! Went to the website looking to purchase the same ones but couldn’t find them. Only the Pro 2 was available so ended up having to order them. After hearing this video I’m actually excited to get them, just bites tht the shipping time takes too long😖
I’m not going to buy anymore fountain pen ink. I am so thankful you showed that water bottle though. My city keeps adding chlorine into the water in higher levels and it makes me very sick. I’m actually very sick since getting Covid and always have to travel to Dr appointments and always need to take water with me. It makes me not keep up with water for my POTS and makes me even more sick. So I’ll be getting that water bottle even if I don’t win.
Can someone help me? The volume for media is astounding but for phone calls it is pretty subpar and is on the max setting. Am I doing something wrong

In my opinion, they are definitely worth the upgrade even if you already have the original AirPod pros. I bought these with the expectation I was probably going to end up taking them back. But hell to the no I’m keeping them.
I even thought the fit was better. I don’t think there are any dimension differences but it felt more secure for some reason
I bought them for the case lol. I really don’t hear a difference in sound. ANC is off the chart. To be honest having the case acting like an AirTag is a game changer
