oh wow, so glad this track made it this week! i absolutely love this song, the whole album is incredible!
you've nailed why I like it so much, it's groovy and catchy, but at the same time has some really neat ideas and changeups. plus everyone in the band is so good at what they do, and each feels integral to the overall sound.
another highlight off this album is the song What It's Worth - there's some tasty syncopation in the verses, plus other great rhythmic ideas, super satisfying riffs in the heavier sections, and this beautiful melodic bass line in the last verse.

I had a rare moment last year where I went through my discover weekly in spotify, and it ended up giving me this, among other things. No regrets there, I really enjoy this band

I recently found out about Spotify's "Song of the Day" playlist and it has been pretty consistent at delivering me great unknown bands. Otherwise I agree with ya, their algorithm is mostly misses for me 😅

And CR memory strikes again 😄, you've actually heard this band once before back on livestream #76, their track Inertia. Also an excellent song

"CR memory" is going to become integral lore to the channel soon, isn't it? 😄

I'm a bit torn about the song. I tend to enjoy the parts that diverge from a standard hard rock template, but then lose interest when it returns to a more typical hard rock sound. I don't hate that sound, but it's not a set of conventions I especially like. I have my favorites, but I don't feel a strong overall connection to that sound. I might still check the album out.
