I seen KISS back in 1980. The crowd went wild when they come out on stage. Get a load of today's crowd...Zombied out and all holding their phones. Thank Christ I grew up when I did.
I think everyone is recording with their phones.. that is one good thing about going to a show today, you can at least have a record of it :)

Long live the backing tapes. I'm gonna see them one last time sunday. If they will come back or not; it's been enough. Gene needs a pauze every so often resulting in longer solos and a very boring long guitar interaction between Tommy and Paul. Good they are FINALLY ending it.

Compare them to bands younger than them (Motley Crue, Guns n' Roses) and KISS sound absolutely incredible, blowing those guys away at this late stage in their careers. Crue and Guns are a complete embarrassment LIVE at this point.
And why do you not going to check out your hearing? Just in one point I agree with you. G n R is really embarrassing. The other band you mentioned, doesn’t need to comment. Off pitch in life concert is worst than loosing your voice, and Kiss just can’t ever be on pitch. My point is, which band produced world shaking hits and which made a clown of themself? The final answer is, G n R produced songs and Kiss produced clowns!

They both made big hits, G N R made more hits, but still Kiss cant be lower than them... Kiss were always different and special in some way... @@Sulee.0 after I have seen that interview with Gene about Kiss and he said, “ our music was shit compare to others “ I had to really dig up every number one hits performed by Kiss, and guess what I find? They had none! My point was, that they were popular only in the US where lately music education is sinking, or never was pushed ahead at all. A Mexican band named the Warning aged 18, 21, and 23 all from the same family as sisters, played piano from six yrs old of age produced and playing their own creations ahead of Kiss in Germany, and the audience in deed were singing their two only Spanish language songs speaks volume. Education is the key to understand lyrics which in Kiss case is in kindergarten level, and I have to cite one sentence of Google encyclopedia, Kiss has earned 30 gold albums the most of any American bands. Which is proving my theory about music education from young ages, or does it prove that all the Kiss fans uneducated? It’s your decision to choose which case it is!

@@weirdshibainu I'll bet that was a fantastic show! My elder sister saw them in '79. Peter Criss was on his way out then but of course none of the fans knew it. At that time he was sabotaging the shows; playing too fast or too slow, throwing drum sticks at the other guys and getting up and walking away. I asked my sister if PC did any of those things in Evansville and she said no.
@@ladyrachel13 In 1975, Kiss was known, but hadn't made their breakthrough. It was a great show, as they were still hungry for success and they still had a lot of mystery about them and worked really hard. You have to appreciate how different they were from all the other bands of the era, who at best only had decent light shows. No joke, Rush opened for them. My ticket for the concert was $ 3.50...yep, three dollars and fifty cents. Kiss Alive came out few months after I saw them and that was their breakthrough. Say what you want about Kiss, but they're survivors.

Wow, they sound absolutely amazing. I haven’t seen them in many many many many many many years. It was the first concert I ever went to as a kiss concert.
I figure it’s a great way to show off my concert knowledge I’ve been do probably three or 400 concerts in my life and maybe maybe not that much I don’t know but these guys sound amazing. I was reading one of the comments and they talk about Mötley Crüe and Guns N’ Roses , these guys sound amazing compared to what crew and ROZES sound like I didn’t get to see them this year. He's singing lol.. watch his social media.. he constantly performs live.. he actually has talent. Don't let the naysayers fool u. Talented people can sound that good. He has his mess ups too. U can hear them if u really listen. But for the most part they all still sound absolutely fantastic! Just enjoy it. U can hear the power in Paul's voice when he's just talking to the crowd. They're just good man. Plain an simple. And good sound guys make it even better

@@nbdysfool3 100% WRONG! He sounds just the same as the Meet and Greet and there are screw ups when he goes up higher his voice cracks a little. Backing tracks don't do that, just ask Vince Neil. Even close ups of Paul and Gene, there is no missed cues like when they have backing tracks. You are not a fan and that is not the truth.

I was there and I was very upset because it was the FINAL Show of them I went to, I went to 3 concerts of kiss and next year I’m going to Queen’s Concert VIP like I did with KISS

In Berlin there was a warm up show at about 19:00 and they started at about 20:30 if I remember correctly.

Audiences suck now. Concerts used to be such exciting events that people screamed themselves hoarse. Not anymore. Sad.
It's just the average age now of all the fans of bands from 80s and 90s still touring. It's simply human nature. Standing, dancing for 2.hours is alot harder now.

It was a great show. Compared to the last shows Ive seen from Ac/Dc, Priest and Maiden it was the best by far. And even a few Euros cheaper.

Ace is the one who said no. Look at him, not Gene and Paul. The manager and Gene and Paul have all said they tried and were turned down, Either for money or just a plain no, So While I WISH I could go to the last concert on my 58th birthday (December 2) Madison Square Garden, BUT, No Ace, No Peter, and a $400 ticket kinda throws a keebosh on that, and I am more mad at Ace for selling his fans out for the dollar.

Kinda surprised they were able to use the lightning runes logo in Germany, though it should be noted that symbols resembling "unconstitutional symbols" are fair game in an artistic or historical context.
If it's not specifically against the law then it's OK.
Many different Heavy Metal symbols and runes have the same kind of characteristic (Although Heavy Metal is influenced from the original)
They are using the runes only during the live shows. They use a bit different logo in commercials and merchandise in Germany

They were trying to put their big shoes in the doors, but other places in the World, music lowers or concert goers were feed first with British rock. And the list is longer than the road to Jerusalem. Lately young bands coming out from the US shade and writing and performing songs which has understandable lyrics. One example is that young Mexican sister band named Warning, which are classily trained on piano and just three members are making out as a band, but they sound not just cleaner but finished their first world tour. They opened once for Kiss but what Kiss produced in this concert, sorry, but next time Kiss will open for them, and rightly so!

One can say anything about cashgrabbing and money hungry members. BUT to be able to go ""endlessly" around the world, really takes stamina, perseverance and loads of energy. It is tough to do this at 70, even if you have a big crew.

Paul can't even engage the crowd, but then Heaven's On Fire sounds like it was recorded 5 years ago. I was biggest fan for 40 years but this lip syncing is annoying. I know, why am I here? Because I was curious how bad Paul was.

Who invented it? It was KIᛋᛋ, make-up, fireworks, blood and spitting fire, including lifting platforms, for 50 years. Dortmund and Berlin, I was there juhuuuuuu. KIᛋᛋ unattainable for every star.

To be honest I'm not a very big fan but it is the last show ever so for me it was a must.
Just cant watch this shyt and see Tommy Thayer in Aces get up man. I know I know, Ace brought his won shyt on himself, but still, its just so fuchin wrong. I went to a handful of Kiss shows when Ace was in th band, some of the best shows Ive ever seen. I went to one show with Tommy. Walked out saying to self, well, that sucked, and havent ever gone back. So yes, I am one of those Ace fan bois. lol. Peter too. Though Peter's playing really waned even back when he was orignally in the band. Damn cocaine. lol.
Pretty much the same. Saw them in Sydney in 2013 (I think) with Tommy. Just wasn't the same, and when Tommy did Shock Me I nearly vomited and vowed never again. Saw them in the 90s without makeup and it was great. Then the original band in the late 90's and is was pure magic. Then the early 2000s with Eric Singer on drums, but still with Ace, and it was still pretty good. With no Ace and an imposter in his makeup, it just sucks.
Feel pretty much the same, too. Wish they would have given the respect to Tommy and Eric with their own makeup, but we all know that wouldn’t have made as much money as this. Still…it’s not the same, and it’s just jarring to see Tommy and Eric in that makeup.
Tommy has been rock solid for 20+ years. He's the perfect fit for that job.
