The Westfalia Club Joker (City) has a fantastic shower in the rear with the trap in a hidden compartment in the floor and you didn't even mention it, which is unbelievable tbh...

It is never warm enough for shower outdoors. That is just good th rinse mud off boots or rinse swim gear or diving gear .

great video as always, but what I would say about the HillSide Birchover - whilst they aren't 'exciting' in some senses, the build quality is just so good, the only place I've found that compares is Jerba!
Some interesting stuff on display, nothing I'd replace my van with though
Well we was booked into the Hilton which an this day all chargers was down. So I did try the book and park at the NEC and was to.d all weekend it was not available. So as a fully electric car we dared the trip back to watford and we made it on limp mode. Thanks Hilton for advertising you have working stations and thanks for NEC quick book for not working.

What was it the wise old motorhome salesman said as I waved goodbye and bounced towards the showroom door ...convinced I was soon to shell out 65K and find true happiness at last...
"The two best days with a campervan are the day you buy it....and the day you sell it"...
Thankfully, I dodged both and stuck with my plain white van and plastic storages boxes, roof rack, £70 loo and YETI Tundra 65 litres cool box...
For someone that’s looking to buy a camper for the first time would you recommend this show?
Definitely. Loads of varieties to look at. It’s a great idea to hire one first too to see what you like and what you don’t like.

I am in 2 minds about campers. The cool factor of the Vw t6 or the way more comfortable motor home? If I was really into it I’d get a motor home but they are pricey.
Bonus of a camper is the fact it is a car and a camper van. So is less pricey in that respect compared to a Motorhome.

They do seem to constantly get more expensive these days.
From coast to coast it's 3500 miles. Electric Vehicles just aren't up to the distance needed for long distance travel in the USA. Charging infrastructure and charging times make it impractical currently.
Speaking of wheels. What do you think about Navis wheels? They are made for Transporters and Crafters.

I wish our pricing here in the US was more in line with yours. It's hard to find anything under $115,000

Hey guys, great video! Just wandering why you never cover the brilliant Bilbo campers in your vlogs? They have won Best Van Converter for the past few years running?
We’ve shown them in previous NEC videos. We think their campers are great. Unfortunately when we’ve asked to film at their showroom they haven’t responded.

Out of interest how is the rebellion powering all of the stands and moterhomes when it's EHU is hooked in? Doesn't that count as mains? Genuine question.
You’d have to ask them what their set up is.
In the start I wish he went inside the vans and show us the back good instead of just pointing the camera there
So you're new van that you are making yourselves you mentioned it's van weight 3.5 kg is the finished weight?
It’s only rated to 3.5t at the moment but you can increase that to 3.88t but obviously Lizzy doesn’t currently have the licence for that.

Work for a main car dealership, the sale of electric vehicles in this country have fallen off a cliff.

Most of these camper vans waste a lot of room by putting extra chairs.
It would be better to use that space to install a washer dryer machine and closet with drawers.
Most of these Vans are used by one person. Not 4 people in a van.
I would not allow other people in my van. That is how I lost $1000 by allowing other people in van .
Better to travel alone.
RP motorhomes overrated... When I'm away for two weeks I want my clothes washed, not my dishes!

Electric campers are not exciting. Good bye free camping. You will need to be plugged in at all times
With Solar getting better all the time that’s not completely true. It’s interesting to see the innovation in clean energy but we certainly realise this isn’t a solution for everyone. 😊
Yep, and camp sites will increase their prices 'cause everyone will be charging their battery packs
Every pitch has an electricity meter, pay for what you use… no problem.

A 200 mile range is pathetic in a campervan. You're better just driving home if you're that close anyway.
Electric camper vans are dumb because you're going to get stranded in the middle of nowhere. Trying to find a tow truck to come and get you is going to be hard.
200 miles on a battery charge 05.00 minute mark, PATHETIC!! Who in their right mind will purchase these
From 2030 you’ll see more eCampers and eMotorhomes as they also fall under the law banning all petrol and diesel powered cars and vans etc.
Yes it’ll be interesting to see the evolution in clean energy!
@@ABusAndBeyond my wife and I now own 2 EV’s and couldn’t go back. I wanted to buy a Motorhome last year but after seeing the van tech coming out I decided to wait. I drive a Merc Sprinter XL minibus for a Charity and we are swapping over our 3 buses to full battery electricity at their next scheduled replacements. Makes not just good economics but morally as well
