Mounting Engine Guards and Sump Guard on Royal Enfield Classic 350 Reborn

It's Mods Day again and today I mount engine guards and a sump guard on my Royal Enfield Classic 350 Reborn. So my Royal Enfield gets some protection.

Vielen dank Marc, for your very clear concise video guide.
I almost bought the metallic brown / chrome version, but in the end waited for a Halcyon grey version. I think the octagon engine guard looks just fine!
I was surprised that you were happy with the touring screen. I fitted an RE one yesterday, and the result is rather poor. Much more wind buffeting. It seems far to small to really help.

Hi, I like the Halcyon grey version a lot, looks great. You are right about the windshield, it is quite small, protects the chest, but the noise and buffeting at the helmet increases. :-)

Nein, ich habe meine Vespa natürlich immer noch :-) Aber Käfer sind doch super gewesen, ich hatte in meiner Jugend 2.

I've been looking for a video like this! I also watched your heel and toe installation video. How are you getting on with it? I see it's on the bike in this video.
One odd thing is that the replacement front frame bar is 13 mm and not the same as the original frame bar which was 14 mm!

very beautiful and useful accessories, a question? Can the side protectors also serve as footrests to relax your legs on long journeys? because I was thinking of putting it on my classic too and adding additional footrests to fix on the engine guard, but maybe it's not necessary given the shape, maybe it would be enough to put a couple of specific tires on it... what do you think? Thank you!

Depends on the size of your shoes :-) Additional footrest might look strange on the classic 350. Cheers Marc

Hello Marc, I mounted the same engine guard on my Classic 350 today. I just wondered if You did not forget two small bolts that get thru the chromed guards into the upper guard attachment from below (left and right side ) ?

I just bought one of these from India and the hardware didn't come with the press fit rubber screw tubes. I wonder if they sold me an older model - it was on eBay after all. Did you buy those separate or did they come with your kit?

The rubber parts are included in the original set.

Can you rest your feet in the engine guard or is that too narrow? And you mentioned parts from india - can you say something about quality, tax and german TÜV?

It is possible, but not safe 😁 The quality of the parts is good for the price 👍🏻

Does that extended front bracket bolt comes with sump gaurd or leg gaurd.
I bought got sump gaurd but it was not there in the box
