@@apexmobiledontdie You can't friendly fire yourself, and even if you could, you would have other Mechs to use, so you wouldn't lose the match. Mech arena didn't say that anywhere, yet. Aegis is only leaked in the files :P

That redox and mortar combo is cringe as hell. No advancing forward and pushing back the enemy with its poison ability. What a waste of an awesome mech. This is really what high level players do and I'm not even the smallest bit surprised.

You do not need only that specific combination of mech and weapon to win. There are many other as well

Why do people run this mech specifically with dual mortars? I find panther so much more helpful, especially when I get rushed on by a killshot or surge
Surge is for weebs. It take no skill and it is, from my angle of the wew, considered cheating. It is like using stalker with Snipers.

Mortars work good with mechs that can do something at close range. Redox can use ability damage when mortars can’t be fired. Also guardian can system crash at close range and killshot can do massive damage. Also, panther can put up a shield when enemy is too close for mortars. Hell even zephyr and surge can do. It really comes to your preference. Say for example if you are offensive, you’ll damage with redox and killshot. But when you are defensive you can use mechs like guardian or panther.
@@beereasing7664 There’s no cheating. Every mech has its weakness. Surge is a very weak mech. And also, it’s ability is close ranged. It needs skill to sneak upon the enemy at the right time. There’s no mech with all pros and no cons.

The rocket mortar is so gay, so many people have it maxed out doing ridiculous amounts of damage and just hide up the back of the map and just do the same thing over and over and over..... there's no skill in that at all.
