In 1975 I bought a Lake Amphibian LA-4 180hp for $15k. Are there any models in that tent that money would buy now? Great walk through Martin and I really look forward to watching you fly, especially if you can get your hands on #84. 🤓
This is way outside of my modeling world, but I think it's safe to say that many of those models would surpass that sum.

Because we have a consumer mentality instead of making things ourselves .

America was leading in the RC movement in Late 80s and 90s. I find due to stringent rules from AMA young creative minds got discouraged. Only folks that follow to rules to the book got in. And they don’t provide much innovation. So countries with more lax rules, took everything we did and kept building on it. It was challenge to score info as a kid if you didn’t “follow the rules”. Like flying at night with spot lights.
AMA, FAA, DHS, NTSB, and any other Gov officials who hate people having fun! :( Full scale is being killed also.....

Love it though and love the old designs by Sterling , Bridi , Top Flite but especially Byron's Originals .
I find the ingenuity to be especially neat even though the technology is outdated .

Dang sure wish I could have gave this video a thumbs up but you sir are in a Rush.... We don't want to see a quick Rush video.... Who cares if it opens to the public in a little bit you'd probably learn something. But unfortunately I could already tell you are not in the U.S. and especially when it comes to the world of RC planes and helicopters we do not rush things. You wouldn't rush to fly your $15,000 turbine jet just so you could get up in the air quicker would you?
