I liked the idea of the pool for the turtles., I think your turtles enjoyed it too, they have so much more room to swim around and explore.
you don't need filter if youre able to do water changes frequently

Way back in the 1960’s my brother caught a turtle behind a Dairy Queen in Oconto WI. He called it Billy Bob until she laid an egg. Then she was Sally Sue.

You should put a good sized cave in there for the to hide in if they want. Also maybe some smaller fish like I know you'll end up doing lol.

We also have three sliders but they are agressive towards eachother to the point baby Franklin has lost a foot. I know this video is older but ill sub and hope you show a divided habitat using a kitty pool

What type of filter did you use for the kiddie pool? I currently am using the same size kiddie pool but my filter isnt doing the job.

What filter would you recommend for a 45 to 50 gallon tank ? There’s no substrate in the tank just the turtle and 2 sucker fish.

They are loving that pool ...eh? I live in Sandy Pond NY on Lake Ontario & back in the mid 80s a local bar used to have turtle races to raise $$$ for Christmas gifts for the kids...it was a huge race...my son actually trapped 100 turtles & sold them to kids who lived elsewhere but had camps on the pond... for $5 ea. He donated $2 of ea sale towards race & kept rest for himself (he was 8 at the time) We had about 6 kiddie pools in backyard that had turtles in them & the kids would come & pick theirs out...After each relay, the losing turtles would get released back into Pond & finally...after about 5 hours of races...A winner would be declared...who would win several prizes donated by local businesses & all entry turtles would be released back into Pond. It was great fun for kids & adults alike! My son trapped the turtles using chicken drumsticks...& he would feed them lettuce & drumsticks while in the pools. Crazy good memory!!!

How long would they be able to live in a kiddy pool or would u have to get something bigger
You should redesign it a little bit and make that for your turtles
You can always keep the pool set up to raise baby fish where the larger fish in the tank can't eat them
The carpet looks like cheese pizza, which is the same carpet I had in my house as a kid. It's making me hungry
My new born hatchling just wants to sleep in the dirt ! He won't get in the pool yet! He is a red eared slider. Is he ok? I let him sleep. should I release him since I don't exactly know what I'm doing? I'm reading and trying really hard to take care of my turtle. Will he live if he just sleeps. I put lots of fresh roots and worms in the dirt were he sleeps. Any advice please 😢 love your videos ❤

Hey Carson I recently found a baby turtle in the wild and I was wondering I have had him/her for a week now how do I get him/her to eat?
They eat in water. Take out of tank and put in shallow bowl with baby turtle pellets cuz they are smaller, and leave the turtle be for 15 minutes. Do that 2 times a day.
