So thankful I saved these practices! I been using about 5 videos but have finally (I say with modesty) the next level to get up to the high notes. I can’t wait when I’ll be able to take a couple lessons with you. My goal this year is to sing The National Anthem at a baseball game. ❤ before I would need to make sure I’m the best I can be! I’ve been able to see results just using these videos and if I had lessons I know it will be money well spent.
I did pretty good! Thank you Jeff the last part was the hardest but it’s good that I can always refer to your videos! I can’t believe how much I have learned just being consistent and practicing has become a routine in the morning
I used to train as a Coloratura Soprano and my voice matured to a Lyric Mezzo-soprano but, there are times I receive comments saying that I sound like a Dugazon Soprano or a Full Dramatic or Spinto Soprano. Now Iam confused. I can sing from E3-D6 but Iam not that comfortable going higher than B flat 5 though I can, Iam just not comfortable. Is it possible that my voice is somewhere I between? 😕
It would fall under good airflow, or engagement. What is commonly thought of as 'support'. The usual habit is to disengage too much when descending. Most of us will do that subconsciously. In order to circumvent the problem, try engaging more as you descend. This will typically have the effect of cancelling out the release so your engagement remains constant. Best, Jeff
@@JeffRolka Hi Jeff, I try to understand the meaning of "engagement", but I 'm not sure I really can. Would you be so kind to explain it for me? Thanks, Ildikó

How can find what my voice type is? Also is learning western vocals different or similar to middle eastern vocals?

Lovely right???

great
Do you have any advice on how vibratos can be further developed? Or how you hold your breath more to be able to sing longer?
Let me think about this - perhaps a quick tip or two...
Jeff
Jeff Rolka yaaay thank you so much! Have a nice day ♥️
Did any of these go up to an A? That's my challenge as a mezzo: singing an A without squeaking. Is there another video for this?
Which a? Best!
I believe it is A5? Top note for a Mezzo?@@JeffRolka
What is the technique of when decending from the higher notes not go under the right notes?
