Probably won't happen considering the major label contracts unfortunately. They'll more than likely leave the back catalogue (what I and many fans from then prefer) for the pop bs that was woodstock they had a few descent songs on it but most was garbage to me
+Guy Singer II I totally agree with you! You can actually HEAR the instruments, which is a nice change.. And the acoustic element certainly gives it a 70's vibe.
Been listening to these guys for 10 years now! I can’t believe they got this famous! I remember being so cool telling all my friends when I was in high school that Portugal the Man is awesome and nobody knew who they were... it felt like Portugal the Man was just making music just for us intellectuals who understand and can feel their music on a different level. Thanks PTM for all the music throughout the years. I’m glad you guys are now getting recognized, they are doing it on there own terms too! They could have been sellouts but they kept it real since Day 1!
Woodstock was a sellout dude doomin+gloomin would've more than likely been their actual next step but it was abandoned. I hate even sounding hipster but the entire Woodstock album had major label control all over it
